The Korean Train eXpress(KTX) which started in last April has got many complaints of passengers. This is caused by weak connections between KTX and traditional trains. This paper shows the methods to increase the connection in 3 points of view; business, operation and rolling stocks. For the flexible business, it is necessary that the connecting trains must be multi-purposefully for the satisfaction of KTX transferring passengers and existing commuting passengers. And the expanding of free class is needed. A free class is the base of business flexibility. In an operation point of view, I show the method that can decrease pains for getting transfer. Finally, for the effective using of rolling stocks, I propose that TC(trailer with control) car is added to existing locomotive and passenger coach set. In concluding, KTX needs strong connections with traditional trains. This will bring more competitive power with other transportation systems. And that method must get flexible and various service, in addition to effective and minimizing investment.

In the middle of the 20th century the traditional wedding costumes in Chungchung district were very similar to those of high officials. A bridegroom out on blue DanRyoung, Samo, official belt, buckskin and two cranes figured Hyoongbae which high-ranking officials wore, A bride put green Wonsam and Chonkduri on her hair, The color and cloth of Chogori, Chima and underwear showed wedding practice in those days on which a daughter-in-law should endure a hard married life. It reflects the Confucian ideas and a patriarch society. This paper studies on the substantive reason they wore the traditional wedding costumes in Chungchung district is not thoroughly considered in a folkloristic respect. The traditional wedding culture that a bridegroom and a bride wore a formal suit can be a good instance which showed us their desire for social status of the upper class. The wedding practices were performed in order to get rid of an omen and keep a good their fortune.

This paper revisited the key advances on System Dynamics modeling about traditional macro-economic models and economic growth structures, and then tries to elaborate a new model based on the endogenous growth theory that incorporates new growth factors, relevant to knowledge/technology as well as the Environment, into traditional growth models. Accordingly, the new model augments the acceleration and multiplier loops and the balancing ones representing market clearing mechanism with a simple numerical example. The authors thus provides macroeconomic System Dynamics analysts with a milestone to model macro-economic structures reflecting on traditional and cutting-edge theories on sustainable economic growth and general equilibrium modeling.

Many organizations have developed their own traditional quality information systems. But, they think of it as one of the functional information systems not as a company-wide decision support information systems. A study on traditional quality information systems(QIS) has been conducted and a new conceptual framework of quality information system is proposed in this paper. In order to support enterprise wide total quality management aggressively, a new conceptual framework, named quality management support information system(QMSIS) is developed and proposed. This framework is based upon Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award(MBNQA) model integrates management information system approach and traditional quality information system concept. In this model, organizational performance and process performance can be monitored to support managers , decision making about organizational quality management activities.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to make the oriental medical treatment useful, and to develop the ways of acne cure. Methods : Recent paper about Traditional Chinese medicine of acne was analyzed for this studying. Results : According to the latest researches of Acne treatment with Chinese medicine, oriental medical methods to chronic acne were effective. Conclusions : Oriental medical treatment can be classified into 3 parts; internal cure, external cure, and acupuncture therapy. All of these ways were efficacious to cure chronic Acne.

Beijing Chuan Di Xia can be traced back to Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is located beside the old post way in the west of Beijing. At present, there are more than seventy units of traditional courtyard houses of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the antique features of the surroundings still survive. The dwelling suited to the historical and regional context and the profound cultural values accumulations etc., have precious historic and cultural values. Associated with the investigation of Chuan Di Xia, the paper explores the site selection, the layout, the spatial constructiveness and the underlying consciousness of Chinese traditional dwellings, unveils the common philosophic basis of traditional dwellings and offers new though for sustainable human settlements.

As part of the waterway restoration to renew traditional urban area, this paper is to assume and research Gyoseocheon(Gyoseo waterway) in Late 1960s Cheongju Korea. The main stream of Gyoseocheon flew from Sangjwagol(the head of the valley) of Uam Mt. to the north gate under Cheongju castle at first, and meandering from Sangdang Park, flew through Sudongseongdang and Bangadari Road to Musimcheon since open railroad of 1920s. This waterway, the eco-friendly figure of Gyoseocheon, that flew to inside the downtown with a planted tree and that is open space was so. The sub stream of Gyoseocheon originated in Seoundong and Tapdong were divided into two parts. One was to join the main stream of Gyoseocheon on Sangdang Park via Munhwadong, and the other was to join the sub stream of Musimcheon at northwest corner via south and west gate of Cheongju castle. This waterway as branch sewer were built into the road culvert.

Recently according to the WIPO's policy of preserving traditional knowledge, constructing the database of traditional knowledge is in progress. To maximize the retrieving power of the knowledge resource systems which will be developed later, it is necessary to construct the ontology for the concepts used by traditional knowledge. In order to construct the ontology systematically, a standardized ontology representation method is needed, and OWL(Web Ontology Language) is the recommendation of W3C(World Wide Web Consortium) and is widely used. Ontology tools can be used to ease the construction of OWL ontology, but no research about the comparison of OWL ontology tools exists. This paper compares the tools of OWL by an objective point of view and with that one can make a decision of using the appropriate tool for constructing OWL ontologies.

Korea's housing polices, which have tended to be focused on quantity rather than quality, have since the 1970s given rise to a housing culture centered on apartment units. Such housing polices have resulted in urban sprawl in the metropolitan areas, and a growing polarization between urban and rural areas. In addition, the issue of "dehumanization" has emerged as a result of the interchangeable urban landscapes and the growing number of high-rise residential buildings. In short, the residential communities of the past, such as towns and villages, have disappeared and been replaced with societies that value individuality and anonymity. The purpose of this paper is to analyze urban structure Gyeongju traditional housing complex. This is to analyze the traditional Hanok residential complex of superiority and characteristics of Gyeongju. This enables future planning should be introduced in Gyeongju hanok.

In this paper the comparison between the neural networks and traditional approaches as nonlinear system identification methods are considered. Two model structures of neural networks are the state space model and the input output model neural networks. The traditional methods are the AutoRegressive eXogeneous Input model and the Nonlinear AutoRegressive eXogeneous Input model. Computer simulation for an analytic dynamic model of a single input single output nonlinear system has been done for all the chosen models. Model validation for the obtained models also has been done with testing inputs of the sinusoidal, ramp and the noise ramp.
