The objective of this study is to investigate conservative treatment of pelvic fracture, and report that Korean rehabilitation treatment is effective for pelvic fracture. We reported a case about pelvic fracture treated with Korean rehabilitation treatment. We searched 10 domestic electronic databases to find reports on conservative treatment of pelvic fracture. We selected and analyzed 12 studies. In this case, pain, range of motion, and Oswestry Disability Index of patient were improved by Korean rehabilitation treatment. In analysis, traction, pelvic sling, hip spica cast, pelvic belt, medication are used in western medical treatment. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, physical therapy, manual therapy are used in Korean medical treatment. Most of conservative treatments are effective for pain, bone union, osteoporosis, dysfunction. In this study, we expect further study of Korean rehabilitation treatment program for pelvic fracture to compensate existing conservative treatment.

The objective of this study is to report the effectiveness of Korean medical rehabilitation for total knee replacement. Three female patients who had total knee replacement were treated by Korean medical rehabilitation with protocol. We evaluated the consequences by checking numeric rating scale (NRS), Lysholm knee score, physical examination of knee joint and walking state. After Korean medical rehabilitation, we find out that the pain and function were improved. NRS, Lysholm knee score, physical examination of knee joint, walking state of patients were also improved. Korean medical rehabilitation can be effectively used for total knee replacement patients. There is a limit that this study hasn't sufficient number of cases. Further studies are needed to set up a Korean medical rehabilitation protocol.

The objective of this study is to propose postoperative rehabilitation for foot fracture in Korean Medicine and to report its effectiveness. There were three patients who were got foot fracture surgery received korean medicine with acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping and exercise treatment. Patients were evaluated numeric rating scale (NRS), range of motion (ROM), American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) ankle hindfoot score, foot function index (FFI) and EuroQol-5 dimension (EQ-5D) index. Case 1 and 2 were improved NRS from 6 to 3. Case 3 was improved NRS from 5 to 2. These cases were improved ROM in all directions, AOFAS score, FFI, EQ-5D and walking status. This study suggest that Korean medicine rehabilitation could be effective for patients who have received foot fracture operation.

The objective of this study was to propose a rehabilitation protocol for ankle fracture in Korean Medicine and to report its effectiveness. Four patients who had undergone ankle fracture by car accident were treated using the rehabilitation protocol in Korean Medicine. We estimated the outcome evaluating physical examination findings of the ankle joint, numeric rating scale, Olerud-Molander score, and walking state. After the treatment, we observed that ankle movement and muscular strength were improved. Moreover numeric rating scale, Olerud-Molander score, and walking state of patients were improved. A rehabilitation in Korean Medicine can be effectively used for ankle fracture patients. The limitation of this study was the insufficient number of cases. Further studies are needed to design a rehabilitation protocol in Korean Medicine.

Cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) is a severe disease that usually needs surgical treatment. We have treated two CSM patients with Korean traditonal medicine, which includes acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, herbal medicine and manual treatment (Chuna). For objective evaluation, we used Nurick's classification, JOA (Japanses Orthopedic Association) score, grip and release test and hand grasping power measurement. Post-treatment analysis has shown that grip and release test score and grasping power of two patients were both remarkably improved, along with the improvements on both Nurick's classification and JOA score. This study showed that Korean traditional medicine could be effective conservative treatment for CSM.

The purpose of this study is to report the effect of combined acupuncture treatment on acute ankle sprain patients. The subjects included in this study were 15 acute ankle sprain patients who visited Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine from Oct. 15th, 2012 to Feb. 8th, 2013. We treated 15 patients with combined acupuncture treatment. The treatment consisted of Hwangrunhaedok-tang (Huanglianjiedutang) pharmacupuncture, electroacupuncture (applied to GB39, ST36 on the affected side), acupuncture (applied to TE17, SI6 on the unaffected side with Dong-Qi therapy). To assess the effect of treatment, the numeric rating scale (NRS) was applied before and after treatment. After first combined acupuncture treatment, the NRS scores significantly decreased from $8.33{\pm}0.94$ to $2.26{\pm}0.44$ (p<0.01). We suggested that Combined acupuncture treatment are effective and useful on acute ankle sprain. And, further studies will be needed.

Bertolotti's syndrome is a rare spinal disease and it is known to cause low back pain due to a lumbosacral transitional vertebra. There has been rare study of Bertolotti's syndrome. This study reports the effects of Korean medicine treatment on the patient who was diagnosed on Bertolotti's syndrome. The patient was treated with Korean medicine treatment including acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, herbal medicine, and Chuna manual therapy during 40 days. Numerical rating scale (NRS), Euroqol five dimension (EQ-5D) index, Oswestry disability index (ODI), lumbar range of motion were used for assessment. After treatment, low back pain NRS decreased from 3 to 2, and low limb pain NRS decreased from 5 to 2. EQ-5D index, ODI and lumbar range of motion also were improved. This study shows Korean medicine treatment can be an effective care for Bertolotti's syndrome.

The purpose of this study is to report the effects of Korean medicine treatment on the gait disorder. Patient with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein-associated disorder. We treated the patient using Korean medicine treatment including Motion-Style-Acupuncture-Treatment, pharmacopuncture, acupuncture, and herbal medicine during 30 days. Numerical rating scale (NRS), EuroQol five dimension (EQ-5D) index, Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), Modified Barthel Index (MBI), and the changes of symptoms were measured for assessment. After 30 days inpatient treatment, NRS decreased from 4 to 2, EQ-5D index, ODI, MBI, and the symptoms of the patient also were improved. In conclusion, this case shows Korean medicine treatment might be an effective treatment for gait disorder Patient with MOG-associated disorder.
