In this paper, the development of a system to translate definition of English technical terms of IEV into Korean and implementation of a web system of prototype Korean Electropedia are introduced. The work was consisted of 3 parts. The 1st work was building databases for the translation of English definitions of IEV into Korean. The 2nd work was that Korean TC 1 members translated English terms' definitions into Korean and modified Korean definitions by significance levels, using developed computer programs and the work database. The last work was to make a document for the report of project and to implement a web system of prototype Korean Electropedia. As a result, 20,996 English definitions of electronical terms were translated into Korean and a prototype web system for Korean Electropedia was implemented. In the future, it is needed to open regular Korean Electropedia and link to IEC's Electropedia.

In this paper, I introduce the development of a system to register Korean standard technical terms which are corresponded with English electronical terminologies on the Electropedia of the International Electronical Committee(IEC). In 2016, this project was started with the permission of registration at the Technical Committee 1 of the $80^{th}$ IEC General Meeting in Frankfurt, Germany. The work was consisted of 3 parts, the 1st step was gathering Korean vocabularies and building a databse for the translation of English terms of International Electronical Vocabulary(IEV) into Korean terms, the 2nd step was to find correct or proper Korean term which is in accord with each English term of IEV on the Electropedia. In this step, members of Korean TC 1 worked for search proper Korean terms using developed computer programs and databases which were made of Korean electronical dictionaries. After selection of proper terms, they did the cross-checking work for Korean terms each other. The last step was to register all of these Korean terms on the Electropedia. As a result, 20,766 Korean electronical terms were registered on the Electropedia in 2017. In the future, it is needed that the definition of English technical terms are translated into Korean.

Through the correspondence works with IEC in the smart grid fields and power IT fields, we set up the interpretation work procedure and defined the work rule for correspondence by analyzing the work results. In addition, we suggest cases for discussion of terms and definitions in the IEC and analyze them and then propose a matrix classification system for standardization to solve the cases for discussion. The matrix classification system with 3-axes of classification has been applied to newly emerging terminologies followed by smart gird. We drew the usefulness in search of terms in application fields and showed the cases of applying the matrix classification. The IEC Electropedia classification standard is unclear and the classification is mixed with principle, application and product areas. We proposed a new working group in IEC TC1 for research on the matrix classification system and then TC 1 decided to organize a new WG titled in the "IEV structure and supporting tools".
