This study proposes a modified definition about $C_{pk}$ based on median as the centering parameter in order to more easily control the process since the mean does not represent any quantile of the asymmetric process distribution. Then we consider an estimate and derive the asymptotic normality for the estimate of the modified $C_{pk}$. In addition, we provide an example with asymmetric distributions and discuss the estimation for the limiting variance that are followed by some concluding remarks.

We analyzed the problem of the typical definition of the viewing angle, where the contrast ratio is higher than 1:10 and suggest the new definition of the viewing angle by considering the contrast ratio, color shift, luminance and gamma shift in the viewing direction all together.

The ultra-high definition TV system nicknamed "Super Hi-Vision" is a television system with 4000-scanning-line video and 22.2 multichannel sound. NHK has been developing it with the aim of creating a broadcasting system conveying a strong sensation of presence. We believe that it is important to design the system by taking into account human factors such as human visual system characteristics. This paper describes the psychological and physiological experiments on the visual effects of "Super Hi-Vision".

Shokri et al. [14] proved the Hyers-Ulam stability of bihomomorphisms and biderivations by using the direct method. It is easy to show that the definition of biderivations on normed 3-Lie algebras is meaningless and so the results of [14] are meaningless. In this paper, we correct the definition of biderivations and the statements of the results in [14], and prove the corrected theorems.

By generalizing the definition of fuzzy weakly semicontinuous mappings by B. S. Zhong, we introduce the concept of fuzzy weakly r-semicontinuous mappings in fuzzy topology of Chattopadhyay. Then the concept introduced by B. S. Zhong becomes a special case of our definition. Also, we show that fuzzy weakly r-semicontinuity and fuzzy weakly r-continuity are independent notions.

MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) is one of the measures to express the reliability for a repairable system, especially for a military weapon system. But MTBF is meaningless without a clear definition of the system failures. Acceptable risk problem are decision problems they requires a choice among different estimations of technological risks. The alternative option includes a threat to life among its consequences. However, the definition used to ignore the public's perceived risk which should be identified as acceptable risk. The study examine the role of perception of risk as acceptable risk between different situations of estimated consequence and probability of risk. The cost benefit principle for the reduction of risk applied to find the possible solutions with in decision making process.

Facelifting techniques have been developed over time to mask the aging process. However, conventional facelifts cause scarring. Because of patient demands, various noninvasive lifting techniques have been introduced, including absorbable thread lifting. Minilifting is known for its short-scar excision and is used to improve skin laxity and lifting using absorbable threads but the definition and operation techniques are not certain. In this article, we described the definition, development, and operative techniques used in minilifts. Minilifting procedures represent an added option for patients with minimal scarring and adequate lifting effects.

Based on the previous translation studies and "WHO-IST", we selected terminology, which are required the definition and explanation among jargon expressed in "Dongeuisusebowon Discourse on Nature and Act", and the procedure of the definition, explanation, and translation in Korean and English has been followed. The outcomes of this study are presented as below: First, based on the existing translation studies, Korean and English translation of "Dongeuisusebowon Discourse on Nature and Act" is provided. Second, few of Terminology in "Dongeuisusebowon(東醫壽世保元)" have been written in WHO-IST, even most of them have been standardized in terms of "Huang Di Nei Jing(黃帝內經)". Therefore, terminology related to Four-constitution medicine in WHO-IST would be required to be corrected, and unattatched terminology should be added in the future. Third, in order to standardize and globalize Four-constitution medicine, further definition, explanation, and translation studies of the rest of Dongeuisusebowon should be continued.
