Retro fashion is emerging among young people as an approach to discovering a new meaning in Korea's historical culture. Research on Korea's unique retro fashion culture is required because there is no research on retro fashion culture based on Korea's historical background. Therefore, this study examined how retro fashion culture has progressed based on Korea's historical background from a nostalgic perspective. All retro-related newspaper articles from 1950 to 2020 were collected, and content analysis was conducted for each semantic unit. The results revealed that personal nostalgia is based on personal experience and is extending to younger generations. In terms of nostalgia in interpersonal relationships, the younger generation reinterpreted the fashion culture of the older generation after the 2010s. In terms of vicarious nostalgia, a retro culture reminiscent of the 1990s with a background in economic development and consumption culture appeared after 2012. The youth culture and university culture of the 1970s and 1980s were reinterpreted as street fashion. Since the late 2010s, the younger generation has been exhibiting cultural nostalgia, believing that the historical Korean culture is not outdated but has a unique heritage formed during the modernization process. Symbolic nostalgia appeared in Korean fashion culture during modernization.

This experiments were conducted to evaluate the influence of Chlorella culture solution on seed germination of perennial ryegrass seeds. Chlorella are known to contain different bioactive compounds. In present research work, Chlorella culture solution using liquid manure as medium have been used to study their effects on germination and root length. The study conducted a germination experiment in petri-dishes. Four treatments were compared: non-treated control treated with distilled water, Chlorella culture solution and Chlorella culture filtrate, and liquid manure. The germination percentage of perennial ryegrass seeds was highest in the Chlorella culture solution treatment. Days required for 50, 70% seed germination was the fast in Chlorella culture solution and the Chlorella culture filtrate treatment. Root length of perennial ryegrass seeds was long by 1~2cm in the Chlorella culture solution compared with no treated control. The germination index of perennial ryegrass seeds was high by 180~202% in the Chlorella culture solution treatment compared to no treatment. Chlorella culture solution and the Chlorella culture filtrate have shown stimulatory effects in germination and development of root. Use of Chlorella culture solution and the Chlorella culture filtrate can be recommended to farmers as a ecofriendly practice for better germination and growth. Present research work reveals that Chlorella contain certain growth promoting substances which enhances seed germination.

The goal of this study is to analyze the influence of the costume culture of South Korean movies and television series on the development of fashion industry. South Korean movies and television series make full use of the influence of costume culture to advocate Korea's national spirit and character as well as the confidence and vigor of the young generation. They contribute to establishing South Korea as a country with a graceful, modern appearance and great cultural heritage. The presentation and promotion of its costume culture in movie and television series stimulates its cultural competence and advances its cultural creative industry. The spread of Korean costume culture has become the pioneer and foreshadowing of clothing industries and greatly underpins its advancement overseas. In concert, the development of clothing industry helps the spread of Korean costume culture.

This study reviewed Korean food recipes and food culture included in English cookbooks issued in the United States from the 1930s to the early 1970s. In the 1930s cookbook, many types of soup were introduced to Korean food under the influence of the Tangban culture in the Joseon dynasty and a brief description of 'Sinseollo' culture. The 1940s cookbooks, introduced Korean table settings, food culture, and cooking methods depending on the use of chopsticks. In the 1950s cookbooks, Korean foods were selected to suit a Western table setting, and detailed explanations were included along with 'cheopsu' means the number of dishes served in Korean food. More diverse Korean food was introduced within its culture and origins in the 1960s cookbooks. The 1970s cookbooks explained, the characteristics of Korean culinary specialties that differentiated from oriental food. This study of Korean food and culture from Cookbooks issued in the United States from the 1930s to 1970s, where Eastern and Western multiculturalism coexist, can be used as baseline data to understand the identity of modern Korean food culture and the direction of the globalization of Korean food.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the canonical correlation between organizational culture and nurses' informatics competency. Method: Participants in this study were 354 nurses from three hospitals and one university. The scales of organizational culture, informatics competency for nurses were used. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, canonical correlation were used for data analysis. Results: The dominant organizational culture was hierarch-oriented culture. Nursing informatics competency of the participants was relatively low with a mean score 3.04. Organizational culture was related to informatics competency with 2 significant canonical variables. The first variate showed the higher four subcategories of organizational culture showed the better nursing informatics. The second variate indicated that nurses felt higher innovation-related and lower hierarch-related culture showed higher medical informatics-related software usage and computer related information management, lower perception of informatics and information search using internet. Conclusion: Organization culture has a major of impact on the success of information system use. Therefore, the continuous strategy for higher innovation-related organizational culture such as management support should be needed.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the impact of nursing organizational culture types on innovative behavior and job embeddedness among clinical nurse. Methods: For this study a descriptive correlational study design was used. Participants were 293 nurses who had more than one year work experience. They were recruited from two university hospitals, one in Seoul and one in Gyeonggi province in 2016. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 statistics program. Results: Hierarchy-oriented culture was the highest type of organizational culture perception and innovation-oriented culture, the lowest. Multiple linear regression analyses showed that, when age and total clinical experience were adjusted for, innovation-oriented culture perception was the most significant factor influencing innovative behavior, followed by task-oriented culture and relation-oriented culture in that order ($R^2$=.33, F=24.50, p<.001). Relation-oriented culture perception was the factor most influencing job embeddedness, followed by task-oriented culture and innovation-oriented culture in that order ($R^2$=.48, F=55.98, p<.001). Conclusion: More systematic and sustained organizational efforts are required to improve the hierarchy-oriented culture highly perceived by nurses and to emphasize innovation-oriented, relation-oriented and task-oriented organizational culture to increase innovative behavior and job embeddedness among clinical nurses.

Once people thought the phenomenon of 'Ha-Han' was only a vogue of young people pursuing oddity. However, when Korean TV series, Korean food, Korean movies and their music penetrated into our life and appeared on TV screens and fashionable magazines, all aspects influence of Korean wave finally arouse people's attention. 'Ha-Han-Zu' is a group of young people who pursue Korean popular culture even imitating their dressing, thoughts and behaviors. This article takes China the original place of Korean wave's popularity as focus, observes the reflection of Chinese to Korean popular culture and discusses the culture exchange phases of Korean wave as the center of popular culture. It can be more detailed that it bases on HOT wave from 1998 to 2004 and analyzes of popular TV series, observes reflects of 'Ha-Han-Zu' to Korean culture, discusses the acceptance to Korean popular culture and what kind of active reflection consumption giving to culture exchange.

This study is on the characteristics of the food culture through the written folk poetries which were described vividly the life customs peculiar to the Nation and so much that were Korean National customs papers written by Chinese poetry - during the latter part of the Choson period. It is used the way which is studied by the literature after collection, analysis, synthesis the analyzed second material of the latter part of the Choson period's written folk poetries. It is summarized to below five contents of the characteristics of the food culture through the written folk poetries. The first is the various and abundant food culture. The second, that is the food culture of praying blessing and praying a fruitful. The people prayed to be a year of abundance of food stuff and train oneself and have medicine for their health, but there has been repeated seasonably an occult action for being blessing which had settled down to the beginning of the year's customs. The third, it is the food culture of share tender feeling with among the people. The fourth, it is the food culture of business and economy's growth image. The fifth, it is the food culture of an image of economic distress and the trouble between rich and poor.
