  • Purpose -This paper is to study the process of the negative effects of Sino-foreign joint ventures, hoping to find out an effective path in which local enterprises can avoid the risks in the utilization of foreign capital, and ultimately achieve independent innovation. Research design, data, and methodology -The outflow of assets, the loss of local brands and the "technology hollowing-out" problem brought by joint ventures is becoming more and more serious. Based on conflict analysis graph model, this paper takes Yuhuan joint venture as an example to identify the conflict problem in Sino-foreign joint ventures. Results -The results of the stability analysis show that establishing joint venture cannot really realize the introduction of technology because the technology is fully controlled by the foreign part. So when introducing foreign capital, local enterprises should participate in R&D and master the initiative. Conclusions - Local enterprises should pay attention to patent containment and technology blockade of multinationals. Domestic enterprises should try to protect state-owned assets and local brands in Sino-foreign joint ventures. Independent innovation is the most effective strategy for the development of enterprises in China.

  • The U.S. has recently developed Free and Open Indo-Pacific strategy and Distributed Lethality strategy based on a common perception that they are responding to China's threats. In the future, it is anticipated the following. Strengthen cooperation of the U.S.-India-Vietnam navy, Maximizing the combined combat power between the U.S. and regional navies, Improving its ability to restore damage control, Economic cooperation between the Pacific and Indian countries. The meanings given to the Korean navy are as follows. First, South Korea should pursue cooperation with the Indian Navy, which will grow into a regional balance on China's growth. The growth of the Indian navy is expected to increase cooperation with other Pacific countries. The government should seek ways to promote cooperation with india navy in various fields. Secondly, it is a joint drill between the U.S. Navy and the Korean Navy. Recently, the Korea-U.S. joint drill has not been conducted and many changes are expected to be made regarding the implementation of the joint drill in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to respond to possible changes in the naval relationship between Korea navy and the U.S. navy Also, due to distributed lethality strategy, preparations for operations and training with U.S.navy will be necessary. Lastly, it should contribute to cooperation among regional countries in preparation for maritime territorial disputes. The growth of the Chinese navy and the territorial disputes in the East and South China sea has raised the possibility of accidental military clashes at sea. Therefore, the government should make efforts to create multilateral security cooperation systems that can continue to promote the prevention of armed conflict.

  • Radio interferences have been a frequent problem on the TRS service, which has been in operation in the southern coastal area of Korea since 1994. By Korea-Japan joint analysis, the main reasons of the radio interferences are due to the radio ducting signal from the seaside of Japan. As the mobile services become spreading in China as well as Japan, interference problems between Korea and China will occur more frequently in various frequency bands. Therefore, in this paper we propose a method for measurement and analysis of the radio interference signal, and summarize the measurement results of interference from China, which was performed to solve the interference problem between Korea and China.

  • Objectives To evaluate the evidence supporting the effectiveness of acupuncture for facet joint syndrome. Methods We conducted search across 9 electronic databases (PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane CENTRAL (CENTRAL), KoreaMed, Kmbase, Koreanstudies Information Service System (KISS), ScienceOn, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and Wanfang) to find clinical trials that used acupuncture as treatment for facet joint syndrome. The methodological quality of randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) were assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias (RoB) tool, while non-randomized controlled clinical trials (nRCTs) were assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias Assessment tool for Non-randomized Study (RoBANS) tool. Results Nine RCTs and one nRCT met our inclusion criteria. Fire needle was more effective than medial branch block in terms of visual analogue scale (VAS) after 1 month (p=0.02). Also, Fire needle was more effective than Ibuprofen in terms of VAS and oswestry disability index (ODI) (p<0.05). However, in the rest of the study results, the intervention group did not show a statistically significant difference than the control group. Conclusions Although our review found encouraging but limited evidence of acupuncture for facet joint syndrome, most of the studies included in the analysis were evaluated as methodologically high risk of bias. From now on further well-designed RCTs should be encouraged.

Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to deduce the subjects to establish the logistics network between Korea and China, and to evaluate the priority order. The results of this research are as follows: First, we conducted face-to-face interviews on the advisery group in China and Korean enterprises which advanced into China, and drew out 6 promoting subjects to build the logistics network between the two. Second, the AHP model was adopted, which is a multi-criteria?multi-hierarchical decision making method, to draw out the weight and priority order of the deduced 6 promoting items. Third, the resultant priority order of the promoting subjects is as follows: No.1 - to establish the distribution & logistics support center by region(0.3900); No.2 - to support various taxes in investing the logistics business abroad(0.1980) ; No.3 - to improve the management of CIQ(0.1958); No.4 - to back up the joint-venture of logistics firms(0.1169); No.5 - to enhance trade and foreign policies to deregulate the entry into logistics markets(0.0536); No.6 - to construct the logistics information system of China(Northest Ssia)(0.0458). This paper resulted in finding out Korea logistics enterprises that have not secured their own inland-transport network in China and the actual difficulties of Korean enterprises with using the inferior network that advanced into China. These problems were developed into the analysis adopting the AHP method, and the significancy of this paper is to present the priority order of promoting problems using a sophisticated technique.
