Post-earthquake risk assessment technique in Korea is developed in 2013 by National Disaster Management Research Institute, at the same time, related manual and standard regulation is distributed to every local government by National Emergency Management Agency. The objectives of this research are to investigate and evaluate the post-earthquake risk assessment of 9.12 Earthquake (M5.8, Gyeongju City, 2016) and 11.15 Earthquake (M5.4, Pohang City, 2017). To suggest and improve the assessment process of post-earthquake risk, first post-earthquake risk assessment method of advanced foreign countries including US, New Zealand and Japan are compared, and post-earthquake evaluation activities in 9.12 Earthquake and 11.15 Earthquake are analyzed. From the results, it is needed to expand the adapted building and structure types and strengthen the earthquake disaster response capacity of local government.

This paper presents a novel method to reduce the size of microstrip patch antennas using shorting post and spiral shape. The spiral conductor shape of the proposed shorted patch antennas increases the length of the current patch for a given area. Two spiral shaped patch antennas with shorting post operating at 700 MHz bands are investigated experimentally.

Korea has the highest suicide rate in the world, and firefighters have the highest suicide rate among the professional population. As a result of the study, post-traumatic stress disorder education is essential in all occupations. Post-traumatic stress disorder is the most common disease and the biggest obstacle for firefighters in Korea. Firefighters who have suffered physical and mental damage in many types of disaster sites due to their extreme occupations are rapidly increasing the suicide rate in recent years. In order to maximize the effect of job training, education on post-traumatic stress disorder from new employees to leadership training is urgently needed.

This experimental investigation was conducted to observe the shear strengthening behavior of pre-damaged reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with externally post-tensioning steel rods. A total of six simply supported beams - two control beams and four post-tensioned beams using external steel rods - were tested to failure in shear. The external steel rods of 18 mm or 28 mm diameter were respectively employed as post-tensioning material. The four post-tensioned beams have a V-shaped profile with a deviator (or saddle pin) located at mid-span, and the post-tensioning system increased the low load-carrying capacity and overcame a little bit of deflection caused by damage. Concretely, the load-carrying capacity and flexural stiffness were respectively increased by about 25~57% and 263~387% due to the post-tensioning when compared with the unstrengthened control beams.

An experimental study on post-CHF heat transfer has been performed with a $3\times3$ rod bundle using a vertical steam-water two-phase flow at low flow conditions. The effects of various parameters on the post-CHF heat transfer are investigated and the reasons for the parametric effects are discussed. As the heat transfer regime changes from CHF to post-CHF, the radial wall temperature distribution is changed depending on the pressure and the mass flux conditions. The superheat of the fluid increases considerably with an increase of the wall temperature (or heat flux) and with a decrease of the mass flux. This implies, indirectly, a strong thermal non-equilibrium at high wall temperature and low mass flux conditions. In order to improve the prediction accuracy of the existing post-CHF correlations, it is necessary to perform more experiments, particularly direct measurement of the vapor superheat, and to modify the correlation by considering a strong thermal non-equilibrium at low flow and low pressure conditions.

Monitoring for moisture contents of wooden post member of Un-bong confucian school was performed in 6 months and analyzed to conserve scientifically the wooden culture building and open for common people. In inner post member of the building, variation of moisture contents was very small and upper part had relatively higher moisture contents. In outer post member, moisture contents were changed according to the weather conditions and was relatively high in bottom and upper part. Southern post has lower moisture content than eastern. These results were related to air ventilation in interior, depth of eaves and orientation of the building. In the design, construction and maintenance of wooden building, characteristics of wood should be considered like moisture contents.

The bridge is nation's principal structure and its influence for national economy is enormous. But it is essential for maintenance of deteriorated bridge because of the increased service life and the decreased performance. For the bridge reinforced by continuos slabs and post-tensioning, we evaluate th stress properties of girders and internal support. Results are almost coincidence between measured data in the field and analysed data by computer. We compared the effects by successive order of post- tensioning and order considered distribution of each girder's camber and stress. Bridge's camber and stress showed respectively symmetry and asymmetry shape by post tensioning order. For the effect of post-tensioning force partition, we divided the post-tensioning force into 3 types (100%, 20%, 30%), and the results show t도 difference of final stress and camber.

Recently, as the interest in environmental issues have increased around the world, the regulation on vehicle exhaust have been tightened in each country. To satisfy such tightened exhaust regulation, automotive manufactures are forced to equipped Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) at Diesel vehicles. If DPF is used for a long time, DPF regeneration should be performed. The objective of this study is to research on post injection for DPF regeneration. The result of the study was that it was desired that retarding post injection timing, lower load of engine and smaller the amount of main fuel injection, for DPF regeneration. Oil dilution was tended to increase as load was lower, amount of post injection was increased, and post injection timing was retarded.

After the Industrialism, long-lasting issues about Post-Industrialism have closely been associated with our daily lives. The keyword of Post-Industrialism could be regarded as Immateriality, which is represented by service, Information and knowledge. In the Post-Industrial society, the major role of Post-Industrial design trend is a mediator to deliver the immateriality to users. Additionally, the maturity of technologies and product life cycle have leaded users to the design trend that is free from the technologies and functions of products. In this context, the most powerful trend of the Post-Industrial design could be "metaphor design" and "poetic dimension". The similarity of these two styles is situated in the romanticism -reflection of symbol and metaphor. However, the appearance of Apple's iMac in 1998, poetic dimension, which uses transparent plastic and colourful, pleasurable 'blobjects' has dominated the post-industrial design trend.

In this study, two things were analyzed for Korean Standards certification factory review evaluation items. First, it was examined whether there is a difference between the Practice of factory review evaluation items and Post-Management according to the change in perception of the factory review evaluation items of Korean Standards certification personnel. Second, the moderating effect of the Korean Standards certification personnel's perception of the effect of the Practice of the factory review evaluation items of Korean Standards certification personnel on Post-Management was verified. Although there is a statistically significant difference between Practice and Post-Management according to changes in perception of Korean Standards personnel, there is no statistically significant difference in the impact (slope) of Practice on Post-Management according to changes in perception of Korean Standards certification personnel. As the perception of factory review evaluation items increases, the Practice and Post-Management of factory review evaluation items are increasing, but the impact of the Practice of factory review evaluation items on Post-Management does not affect it. In order to further advance Korean Standards certification, which plays an important role in maintaining the quality level of products produced by companies, efforts to raise the level of perception of Korean Standards certification personnel are considered necessary.
