In modern dynamic management environment, there is growing recognition that information & knowledge management systems are essential for CEO's Efficient/effective decision making, As a key component to cope with this current, we suggest the management performance analysis system based on Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD). The system measures management performance that is considered with both VA(Value-Added), which represents stakeholder's point of view and EVA(Economic Value-Added), which represents shareholder's point of view, The relationship between management performance and some 80 financial ratios is analyzed, and then important financial ratios are drawn out. In analyzing the relationship, we applied KDD process which includes such as multidimensional cube, OLAP(On -Line Analytic Process), data mining and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). To demonstrate the performance of the system, we conducted a case study using financial data over the 16-years from 1981 to 1996 of Korean automobile industry which is taken from database of KISFAS(Korea Investors Services Financial Analysis System).

Service innovation has been considered to improve the value of enterprises, so that various research issues have been studied on innovating the services. Thus, in order to increase understandability of new service innovation mechanism, this study surveys the existing research results on service innovation factors, e.g., success factors, process, and performance. Consequently, we have found that service innovation can be reflected to service quality and value by interactive process between customers and enterprises. Also, such interactions are based on internal success factors (e.g., innovation strategy of organizations, domain knowledge, collaboration) and external success factors (e.g., customer participation, partnership).

최근 IT 환경의 변화에 따라 웹 서비스를 기반으로 대규모 사용자 대상의 상호 참여적인 MOOC(Massive Open Online Courses)과 같은 온라인 교육 환경이 부상하고 있다. 그러나 온라인 교육 시스템은 원거리로 학습이 이루어짐에 따라 학습자의 자발적 동기를 꾸준히 유지하기 어려우며, 또한 학습자 간에 지식을 공유하고 공유한 지식을 활용하는 기능이 부족하다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해 구성주의적 학습이론과 집단지성에 기반하여 학습자가 보유한 학습자료를 공유하고 개인화된 학습자료 추천을 받을 수 있는 학습자료 북마킹 서비스인 WeStudy를 구현하였다. 위키피디아(Wikipedia), 슬라이드쉐어 (SlideShare), 비디오렉쳐스 (VideoLectures) 등 현존하는 집단지성 기반 서비스들의 주요 기능으로부터 필요한 집단지성 기능들을 검토하였으며, 본 서비스의 주요 기능으로 1) 리스트 및 그래프 형태의 학습자료 리스트 시각화, 2) 개인화된 학습자료 추천, 3) 보다 상세한 학습자료 추천을 위한 관심 학습자 지정 등을 도출하여 시스템을 설계하였다. 이후, 웹 기반으로 구현된 세 가지 주요기능 별로 개량된 휴리스틱 사용성 평가 방법을 통해 개발된 시스템의 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 10명의 HCI 분야 전공자 및 현업 종사자를 대상으로 정량적 및 정성적인 평가 결과, 세 가지의 주요 기능에서 전반적으로 사용성이 우수한 것으로 판정되었다. 주요 기능 별 정성적인 평가에서 도출된 여러 마이너 이슈들을 반영할 필요가 있으며, 향후 대규모 사용자를 대상으로 본 서비스를 보급하고 이용할 수 있도록 제공하여 자발적인 지식 공유 환경을 조성할 수 있을 것으로 전망된다.

Although the specification of packaging box is one of the most important process to be considered before deciding cost in terms of production and logistics, there are no efficient services in our country at this time as such the making decision only through the empirical knowledge. In this research, we have developed the packaging specification design system based on the web online packaging IT service. The developed system was advanced from the existing-inefficient process of deciding the specification of packaging box, and which can decide the specification of packaging box considering the efficiency of logistics through use of IT based tool. Therefore, this study shows applied cases of normalized packaging process through the obtained packaging design simulation program. The packaging specification design system can provide the simulation and user interface. Those could calculate the specification of packaging box(packaging box size, packaging box quantity, packaging box pattern, packaging compressive strength, packaging cost etc.) considering the efficiency of logistics.

For a library to be able provide information services and fulfill its function as a knowledge convergence center capable of responding to various information demands, the development of next-generation information systems based on the latest information and communication technology is needed. The development of mobile information services using portable devices such smart phones and tablet PCs and information systems which incorporate the concepts of cloud computing, SaaS (Software as a Service), annotation and Library2.0 is also required. This paper describes a library information system that utilizes collective intelligence and cloud computing. The information system developed for this study adopts the SaaS-based cloud computing service concept to cope with the shift in the mobile service paradigm in libraries and the explosion of electronic data. The strengths of such a conceptual model include the sharing of resources, support of multi-tenants, and the configuration and support of metadata. The user services are provided in the form of software on-demand. To test the performance of the developed system, the efficiency analysis and TTA certification test were conducted. The results of performance tests, It is encouraging that, at least up to 100MB, the job time is approximately linear and with only a moderate overhead of less than one second. The system also passed the level-3 or higher criteria in the certification test, which includes the SaaS maturity, performance and application program functions.

최근 들어, 인터넷은 우리의 삶의 필수 요소가 되고 있다. 즉, 우리는 정보 검색, 온라인 쇼핑, 이메일 서비스와 같은 다양한 인터넷 서비스를 활용할 수 있다. 그러나, 인터넷 서비스를 이용하는 이면에는 개인의 프라이버시 침해에 대한 위협이 존재하고 있다. 온라인 서비스 제공 업체는 과도한, 그리고 필수적이지 않은 정보까지 개인에게 요구하려는 경향이 있으며, 개인 정보에 대하여 책임의식을 동반한 관리가 이루어지지 않아 여러 피해 사례가 보고되고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 익명 인증에 관한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 익명 인증은 사용자가 자기 자신의 신분을 증명하면서, 자신의 주민등록번호와 같은 ID 값 혹은 개인 정보를 노출하지 않는 것을 의미한다. 이들 연구는 다소 현재 인터넷 환경에서의 인증 구조에 적용하기 어려운 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 해결하기 위하여, Short Group Signature를 이용한 가명 기반 PKI 구조를 제안한다. 제안하는 방식을 통하여, 조건부 추적성을 지원하는 익명성을 가지는 PKI 구조 및 익명 인증 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.

IT 기술의 성장에 기초한 우리 사회의 각종 뉴미디어의 개발과 도입의 속도, 보급과 서비스의 확산정도 등은 국제적 관심을 주도할 만큼 폭발적이다. 한편 국가 정보화 차원에서 강력한 정책 드라이브를 바탕으로 추진된 정보 인프라의 확대 역시 그에 못지않다. 그러나 문제는 뉴미디어-정보화 정책이 추구하는 산업경제적 가치창출, 사회문화적 가치창출, 지식기반의 확충을 통한 지식사회/지식국가의 토대구축이라는 정책목표가 '사회의 질적 발전(quality development of society)'보다는 '기술과 산업의 양적 성장(quantity growth of industry and technology)'이라는 편향적 형태로 진전되고 있다는 것이다. 이는 개별 정책의 결과이기도 하지만 보다 근본적으로는 개발주의 패러다임(developmentalism)에 기초하고 있는 뉴미디어-정보화 정책의 구조적인 문제에서 비롯된 것이다. 이를 극복하기 위해서 우선적으로 요구되는 것은 '지식 IT 전략(knowledge IT strategy)'에 기초한 뉴미디어-정보화의 질적 발전, 즉 원천기술과 특허의 확보와 그를 통한 기술표준의 구축, 내용과 수준을 갖춘 콘텐츠의 계발, 사회적 지식 네트워크의 구성 등에 부합하는 정책 패러다임으로의 전환이다.

Reliable functionalities for autonomous navigation and object recognition/handling are key technologies to service robots for executing useful services in human environments. A considerable amount of research has been conducted to make the service robot perform these operations with its own sensors, actuators and a knowledge database. With all heavy sensors, actuators and a database, the robot could have performed the given tasks in a limited environment or showed the limited capabilities in a natural environment. With the new paradigms on robot technologies, we attempted to apply smart environments technologies-such as RFID, sensor network and wireless network- to robot functionalities for executing reliable services. In this paper, we introduce concepts of proposed smart environments based robot navigation and object recognition/handling method and present results on robot services. Even though our methods are different from existing robot technologies, successful implementation result on real applications shows the effectiveness of our approaches.

The objectives of this study were 1) to review the developmental process of agricultural extension services since 1960 in Korea, and 2) to suggest new paradigm of agricultural extension education in the 21st century. The study suggested major objectives of agricultural extension service in Korea should be focused on; 1) Agricultural technology transfer for environmentally friendly food production, 2) Diffusion of energy saving and safe farming technologies and upbringing export oriented agriculture, 3) Education and training of capable farmers for competitive world, and 4) Technological support for home improvement considering harmony of human, environment and life. To achieve major objectives of extension services the following strategies should be employed; 1) National administration and financing. 2) Farmer oriented services should be performed since extension education is originally two-way communication process to help farmers in better decision making, 3) Human resource development for extension educators to meet increasing demands of target population, and policy measures should be implemented to increase morale of extension educators, and 4) Role of public extension should be strengthened to meet needs of majority farmers and public interests in the knowledge based information society in the 21st century.

This study aims to identify the factors that influence adoption intentions towards portable Internet service, based on the individual characteristics that assist in creating markets and developing strategies. Two types of factors are defined: individual characteristics including demographics, existing services usages, prior knowledge, adoption attitudes, and service evaluations; and adoption intentions including the willingness to subscribe, subscription term, willingness to pay, usage type, and preferred terminal. The results indicate that the importance of demographic variables depends on adoption intentions, and that users of mobile Internet service and wireless LAN are probably targets for portable Internet service. Furthermore, the results demonstrate the need for an enhanced perception of the usefulness and ease of use of service, as well as an intensive marketing activity for potential users and a bearable innovation to stimulate the market for portable Internet service.
