직장인의 직무불안정성과 기업가정신이 창업의도에 미치는 영향: Shapero의 창업이벤트모델을 중심으로 (The Effect of Job Insecurity and Entrepreneurship on the Entrepreneurial Intention: Focusing on Shapero's Entrepreneurial Event Model)

  • 최근의 악화되고 있는 고용지표를 개선하고, 세계적인 경기침체 국면을 돌파하기 위해서는 창업의 활성화 및 창업의 성공률 제고가 요구된다. 본 연구의 목적은 관련 분야의 지식과 경험 및 네트워크를 보유한 직장인을 창업가로 전환시키는 요인과 그 경로를 밝힘으로써, 창업활성화를 위한 시사점을 제시하고 창업 성공률 제고에 기여하고자 함에 있다. 본 연구에서는 Shapero(1982)의 창업이벤트 모델을 기반으로 하여, 직장인의 직무불안정성과 기업가정신이 창업의도의 촉진사건이 되는지와 창업에 대한 소망성 및 실현가능성의 지각이 그 사이를 매개하는지를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과를 정리해보면 첫째, 직장인의 고용불안정성과 혁신성 및 위험감수성이 창업의도를 높이는 요인임을 확인하였다. 둘째, 직무불안정성의 구성 요소와 창업의도 사이에서 지각된 소망성의 간접효과는 모두 유의하지 않았으나, 기업가정신의 모든 구성 요소는 창업에 대한 소망성의 지각을 통해 창업의도를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고용불안정성과 혁신성 및 위험감수성은 창업에 대한 실현가능성의 지각을 통해 창업의도를 강화하는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 창업 역량을 보유한 직장인을 창업가로 전환시키기 위해서는 직장인에 대한 창업교육과 사내벤처의 지원을 강화하고 시니어창업 및 사내벤처창업 지원을 확대함으로써 창업에 대한 긍정적 태도와 실행에 대한 자신감을 고취시킬 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. 직장인의 창업 지원 강화로 창업 활성화 및 창업 성공률이 제고된다면, 일자리 문제를 해결하고 침체된 경기를 회복시키는 등 국내 경제에 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대된다.

국립공원 자연관찰로를 통한 생태교육적 장소정체성 형성에 대한 기호학적 해석 (A Semiotic Analysis of the Formation of Ecologically Educational Place Identity through Nature Trails in National Parks)

  • 본 연구에서는 국립공원 자연관찰로의 특징(기호)과 초등과학 환경 관련 핵심개념 및 환경교과의 생태교육 영역과의 연계성을 분석한 후, 바르트의 기호학적 이론을 바탕으로 장소정체성 기호학적 해석모델을 개발하여 초등학생부터 성인까지 가능한 자연관찰로의 생태교육적 장소정체성 형성 과정을 분석하였다. 내장산국립공원의 원적골 자연관찰로, 소백산국립공원의 희방계곡 자연찰로와 한려해상국립공원의 금산 자연관찰로를 연구 대상으로 하였다. 자연관찰로의 해설판 중심의 주변환경과 생태교육 내용체계와의 연계성을 분석한 결과, '생태환경의 체계' 영역과 가장 높은 연계성을 보였다. 자연관찰로의 장소정체성 형성 과정을 기호학적으로 분석한 결과, 장소성 형성에는 지리적 위치나 경관, 인공적 환경, 주변자연환경의 특징인 물리적 요소가 대부분 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 장소감 형성은 지식과 애착 요소가 동일하게 작용할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 장소성과 장소감 요소의 상호작용을 통해 형성될 수 있는 장소정체성은 행동적 내부 단계와 공감적 내부성 단계가 대부분이었다. 그러나 장소정체성 형성의 다양성을 위해서는 환경교육 프로젝트 개발과 자연관찰로 환경의 특이성이 반영된 주변환경과 해설판이 조성될 필요가 있다.

  • 본 연구는 '금속이 차갑게 느껴지는 이유'를 설명하는 소집단 활동 과정에서 열화상 사진기로 열전도 현상을 시각화한 자료가 초등학생에게 미치는 교육적 효과에 대해서 알아보고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 초등 5학년 4명을 대상으로 '온도와 열' 단원 학습 전후에 사전 사후 심층면담을 진행하였다. 또한 '금속이 차갑게 느껴지는 이유'를 설명하는 추가 차시 수업의 소집단 활동 과정에서 녹화 및 녹음 자료, 학생들의 활동지, 연구자의 연구일지 등을 수집하여, 비교⋅검토하였다. 연구 결과 열화상 사진기로 열전도 현상을 시각화한 자료는 호기심을 유발하고 정교한 관찰 및 통합적 사고의 기회를 제공하였다. 또한 열전도 현상을 시각화한 자료는 학생들의 소집단 활동 과정에서 활발한 의사소통을 위한 해석과 반박의 근거자료로 사용되었다. 학생들은 열화상 동영상 자료를 바탕으로 하는 소집단 토론 과정을 통해 비과학적 신념을 변화시키고 지식을 정교화하였으며 이를 바탕으로 각자의 정신모형을 발달시켰다.

기업은 무엇으로 입지를 결정하는가? - 지역 특성과 집적 외부성을 중심으로 - (What Determines the Location of a Firm? - Focusing on the regional characteristics and agglomeration effect -)

  • 제주도는 전국 1% 수준에 불과한 지역내총생산(GRDP)을 증가시키고자 기업 육성 및 유치를 위해 다각적인 노력을 지속하고 있다. 기업의 입지 선택은 기업 성장에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 중대한 결정이다. 한 지역에 기업 입지가 집중된다면 그것은 그 지역 특성이 기업 이윤극대화에 도움이 된다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서, 기업이 선호하는 지역의 특성을 분석하고 그것을 기업 유치 정책에 반영할 수만 있다면 지역의 혁신과 발전을 유도하는데 도움이 될 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 제주지역 기업들의 입지분포를 살펴보고, 조건부 로짓 모형을 이용하여 제주도 읍면동별 지역 특성이 기업 입지 결정에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 업종과 무관하게 제주지역 모든 기업은 다양한 업종의 기업이 밀집되어 있고, 경제활동인구가 많고, 인구밀도가 낮으며, 대중교통 혼잡도가 낮은 지역의 입지를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 지식기반산업에 속한 기업은 동종기업들이 많이 위치한 지역을 선호하는 것으로 나타나, 집적 외부성을 중시하는 지식기반산업 특징이 제주지역 기업들에게도 나타나고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 그간 전무 하였던 제주지역을 대상으로 한 기업 입지 요인분석으로, 향후 제주지역의 기업·산업 육성 및 지역 발전 정책 수립을 위한 기초분석을 실시하였음에 의미를 찾을 수 있겠다.

Changes in Stock Market Co-movements between Contracting Parties after the Trade Agreement and Their Implications

  • Purpose - The study of co-movements between stock markets is a crucial area of finance and has recently received much interest in a variety of studies, especially in international finance. Stock market co-movements are a major phenomenon in financial markets, but they are not necessarily independent of the real market. Several studies support the idea that bilateral trade linkages significantly impact stock market correlations. Motivated by this perspective, this study investigates whether real market integration due to trade agreements brings about financial market integration in terms of stock market co-movement. Design/methodology - Over the 10 free trade agreements (FTAs) signed by the United States, using a dynamic conditional correlations (DCC) multivariate GARCH (MGRACH) model, we empirically measure the degree of integration by finding DCCs between the US market and the partner country's market. We then track how these correlations evolve over time and compare the results before and after trade agreements. Findings - According to the empirical results, there are positive return spillover effects from the US market to eight counterpart equity markets, except Jordan, Morocco, and Singapore. Especially Mexico, Canada, and Chile have large return spillover effects at the 1% significance level. All partner countries of FTAs generally have positive correlations with the US over the entire period, but the size and variance are somewhat different by country. Meanwhile, not all countries that signed trade agreements with the United States showed the same pattern of stock market co-movement after the agreement. Korea, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Singapore show increasing DCC patterns after trade agreements with the US. However, Canada, Australia, Bahrain, Jordan, and Morocco do not show different patterns before and after trade agreements in DCCs. These countries generally have the characteristic of relatively lower or higher co-movements in stock markets with the US before the signing of the FTAs. Originality/value - To our knowledge, few studies have directly examined the linkages between trade agreements and stock markets. Our approach is novel as it considers the problem of conditional heteroscedasticity and visualizes the change of correlations with time variations. Moreover, analyzing several trade agreements based on the United States enables the results of cross-country pairs to be compared. Hence, this study provides information on the degree of stock market integration with countries with which the United States has trade agreements, while simultaneously allowing us to track whether there have been changes in stock market integration patterns before and after trade agreements.

대학 창업교육 프로그램 개발 실행연구: 학습자 교육 요구를 중심으로 (An Action Research on the Development of the University Entrepreneurship Education Program: Focusing on the Educational needs of the Learner's)

  • 사회 변화에 따라 시대가 요구하는 융합형 창의인재를 양성하기 위한 수단으로 대학 창업교육이 주목받고 있다. 창업교육의 수는 매년 증가하여 양적 확대가 이루어지고 있지만 교육의 질적 고도화는 과제로 남아 있다. 본 연구는 창업교육 활성화와 질적 고도화를 위해 대학에서 운영되고 있는 창업교육 프로그램 개발을 목적으로 실행연구를 수행하였다. 연구의 과정은 먼저, 관련 문헌분석을 통해 창업교육에 포함되어야할 교육콘텐츠와 교수법을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 학생들의 창업교육콘텐츠에 대한 니즈를 IPA 분석을 통해 도출하여 이를 반영한 프로그램을 설계하였다. A대학 창업강좌에 프로그램을 적용, 실행 과정에서 나타난 학습자 의견을 분석하여 프로그램을 개선하였다. 개발된 창업교육 프로그램은 다음과 같다. 강의 초반부 창업교육의 필요성을 충분히 제시하고, 전반부에 아이디어 발굴과 비즈니스모델 설계를 포함하여 창업에 필요한 지식을 교수자 중심의 이론 강의를 통해 전달한다. 강의 후반부에서는 전반부 학습내용을 바탕으로 관심사 기반의 팀을 구성하여 학습자 중심의 실습활동을 운영한다. 실습 내용은 아이디어 선정, 비즈니스모델 분석, 사업계획서 작성 및 피칭에 대한 내용을 포함한다. 팀별 실습 활동은 수업시간 동안 이루어지고 교수자는 각 팀별로 애로사항에 대한 조언을 제공한다.

발명영재 교원 및 전문직 인식에 기반한 발명영재교육의 방향 탐색 (Suggestions for Invention Gifted Education Based on the Awareness of Teachers and Professionals Related to the Invention Gifted Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 발명영재교육의 문제점 개선과 확대 발전하기 위하여 발명영재 교원 및 전문직 인식에 기반한 발명영재교육의 발전 방안을 제언하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 발명영재교육 체제와 운영 현황을 분석하고 발명영재학급 또는 영재교육원 소속의 발명영재 교원과 발명영재 관련 교육전문직을 대상으로 만족도와 발전방안 등에 대한 인식을 설문조사하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 발명영재교육에 대한 만족도는 전체적으로 보통(M=3.0)이상으로 인식하였다. 그러나 '교육 자료', '교원대상 연수프로그램', '지원기관의 인 물적 지원체제' 분야에서는 다소 낮은 만족도를 나타내고 있어 이에 대한 지원 확대가 필요하다. 둘째, 특허청과 한국발명진흥회는 발명영재교육의 발전과 효율성을 위하여 긍정적인 방향으로 이끌어줄 수 있는 구심점 역할의 연구 전문기관을 지정 또는 설립할 필요가 있다. 설문조사 결과, 발명영재교육 전문 연구기관에 대한 필요성과 기대감에 대한 인식이 높았다. 특히 전문 연구기관의 중점 요구분야는 '영재교육 방법 및 자료의 연구 개발', '교원 연수 자료의 연구 개발 및 연수 실시'이다. 셋째, 발명영재 교원 및 전문직은 현재 발명영재교육을 수혜하는 학생들이 9개의 발명영재의 특성을 어느 정도 가지고 있느냐 하는 질문에 대하여 발명 지식과 사고 영역의 '발명 지식'과 발명 태도 영역의 '기업가 정신' 은 다소 낮다고 응답하였다. 이는 발명영재 선발 모형에 대한 검토뿐만 아니라 낮게 나타난 특성을 배양할 수 있는 발명영재교육프로그램의 연구개발이 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

Design and Implementation of IoT based Low cost, Effective Learning Mechanism for Empowering STEM Education in India

  • India is a developing nation and has come with comprehensive way in modernizing its reducing poverty, economy and rising living standards for an outsized fragment of its residents. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education plays an important role in it. STEM is an educational curriculum that emphasis on the subjects of "science, technology, engineering, and mathematics". In traditional education scenario, these subjects are taught independently, but according to the educational philosophy of STEM that teaches these subjects together in project-based lessons. STEM helps the students in his holistic development. Youth unemployment is the biggest concern due to lack of adequate skills. There is a huge skill gap behind jobless engineers and the question arises how we can prepare engineers for a better tomorrow? Now a day's Industry 4.0 is a new fourth industrial revolution which is an intelligent networking of machines and processes for industry through ICT. It is based upon the usage of cyber-physical systems and Internet of Things (IoT). Industrial revolution does not influence only production but also educational system as well. IoT in academics is a new revolution to the Internet technology, which introduced "Smartness" in the entire IT infrastructure. To improve socio-economic status of the India students must equipped with 21st century digital skills and Universities, colleges must provide individual learning kits to their students which can help them in enhancing their productivity and learning outcomes. The major goal of this paper is to present a low cost, effective learning mechanism for STEM implementation using Raspberry Pi 3+ model (Single board computer) and Node Red open source visual programming tool which is developed by IBM for wiring hardware devices together. These tools are broadly used to provide hands on experience on IoT fundamentals during teaching and learning. This paper elaborates the appropriateness and the practicality of these concepts via an example by implementing a user interface (UI) and Dashboard in Node-RED where dashboard palette is used for demonstration with switch, slider, gauge and Raspberry pi palette is used to connect with GPIO pins present on Raspberry pi board. An LED light is connected with a GPIO pin as an output pin. In this experiment, it is shown that the Node-Red dashboard is accessing on Raspberry pi and via Smartphone as well. In the final step results are shown in an elaborate manner. Conversely, inadequate Programming skills in students are the biggest challenge because without good programming skills there would be no pioneers in engineering, robotics and other areas. Coding plays an important role to increase the level of knowledge on a wide scale and to encourage the interest of students in coding. Today Python language which is Open source and most demanding languages in the industry in order to know data science and algorithms, understanding computer science would not be possible without science, technology, engineering and math. In this paper a small experiment is also done with an LED light via writing source code in python. These tiny experiments are really helpful to encourage the students and give play way to learn these advance technologies. The cost estimation is presented in tabular form for per learning kit provided to the students for Hands on experiments. Some Popular In addition, some Open source tools for experimenting with IoT Technology are described. Students can enrich their knowledge by doing lots of experiments with these freely available software's and this low cost hardware in labs or learning kits provided to them.

소비자 중심의 간호서비스 질 결정요인에 관한 연구;SERVQUAL모형을 중심으로 (A Study on the Determinants of Consumer-Oriented Nursing Service Quality;SERVQUAL Model based)

  • As the tendency of the society is centralized into consumers and services, patients are getting to ask better medical services. The consumers influenced from various social surroundings became to have some expectation of nursing service. Compared with their expectation, the quality of the services which they virtually get may be recognized and evaluated. So it is necessary to know exactly what the consumers want in nursing services. The purpose of this study is to examine the determinants which can evaluate the quality of nursing services by researching into consumers' expectation and perception of the nursing services depending on the consumer-oriented attributions on the basis of the model of SERVQUAL. 1,144 of outpatients were selected as the subjects for this research. They used to continuously visit the same hospital after being hospitalized and nursed in 9 hospitals randomly selected among the second-level medical organizations in Seoul from January to February, 2001. The collected data are analyzed into the Descriptive Statistics, t-test, GLM and Multiple Regression through the SAS program. Delphi was used for the research tool and the results of the research are as follows; the determinants in evaluating the quality of nursing services consist of 5 categories such as Tangibility, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy. The values of Cronbach' $\alpha$ appeared to be 0.96 in the expectation of nursing services, 0.94 in the perception of nursing services and 0.96 in the importance of nursing services. The determinants in the expectation of nursing services were ranged in the order of Assurance, Empathy, Reliability, Responsiveness and Tangibility. And those in the perception of nursing services were in the order of Assurance, Empathy, Reliability, Tangibility and Responsiveness. Those in the importance of nursing service were in the order of Empathy, Assurance, Reliability, Tangibility and Responsiveness. Finally, those in the quality of nursing service were in the order of Tangibility, Responsiveness, Empathy, Reliability and Assurance. Each expectation of nursing services appeared different depending on the subjects' age, gender, clinical department and reason for hospitalization. The hypothesis examined in this research shows that the group having higher personal needs shows meaningful differences in the expectation of nursing services, and the subjects who have had external communication show higher perception of nursing service than uncommunicative ones. After all, we can see that the statistical differences in the perception of nursing services depend on whether the subjects have external communications or not. The determinants in the expectation of nursing services can explain the quality of nursing service up to 14.96%. The statistically meaningful determinants in the expectation could be arranged in the order of Reliability, Assurance and Tangibility. And the more expectation brings about the lower evaluation of the quality of nursing services. The determinants in the perception of nursing service can explain the quality of nursing services up to 29.85%. The statistically meaningful determinants in the perception could be arranged in the order of Responsiveness, Reliability, Tangibility, Empathy, and Assurance. And the more perception brings about the higher evaluation of the quality of nursing services. According to the result of the above research, I would like to propose as follows. As long as this research is oriented to get knowledge of the consumer-oriented nursing services, it should be continued to draw the other elements determining the quality of the nursing services. Furthermore, this research is based upon the Parasuraman, A., et al.'s SERVQUAL Model(1991), which deals only expectation, perception and quality of consumer-oriented nursing services, so it will be necessary to inspect and verify it through the other models containing the offerers of nursing services in the future. On the other hand, as this research evaluates the actual quality of nursing services based on the expectation and perception of nursing services, it can be utilized as fundamental data to develop the marketing strategies and to estimate the qualities as well. I hope this research will be periodically estimated to be the useful data to develop the marketing strategies in the nursing service area.

업무성과에 영향을 주는 업무용 모바일 어플리케이션의 주요 요인에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Influencing Factors of Perceived Job Performance in the Context of Enterprise Mobile Applications)

  • The ubiquitous accessibility of information through mobile devices has led to an increased mobility of workers from their fixed workplaces. Market researchers estimate that by 2016, 350 million workers will be using their smartphones for business purposes, and the use of smartphones will offer new business benefits. Enterprises are now adopting mobile technologies for numerous applications to increase their operational efficiency, improve their responsiveness and competitiveness, and cultivate their innovativeness. For these reasons, various organizational aspects concerning "mobile work" have received a great deal of recent attention. Moreover, many CIOs plan to allocate a considerable amount of their budgets mobile work environments. In particular, with the consumerization of information technology, enterprise mobile applications (EMA) have played a significant role in the explosive growth of mobile computing in the workplace, and even in improving sales for firms in this field. EMA can be defined as mobile technologies and role-based applications, as companies design them for specific roles and functions in organizations. Technically, EMA can be defined as business enterprise systems, including critical business functions that enable users to access enterprise systems via wireless mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets. Specifically, EMA enables employees to have greater access to real-time information, and provides them with simple features and functionalities that are easy for them to complete specific tasks. While the impact of EMA on organizational workers' productivity has been given considerable attention in various literatures, relatively little research effort has been made to examine how EMA actually lead to users' job performance. In particular, we have a limited understanding of what the key antecedents are of such an EMA usage outcome. In this paper, we focus on employees' perceived job performance as the outcome of EMA use, which indicates the successful role of EMA with regard to employees' tasks. Thus, to develop a deeper understanding of the relationship among EMA, its environment, and employees' perceived job performance, we develop a comprehensive model that considers the perceived-fit between EMA and employees' tasks, satisfaction on EMA, and the organizational environment. With this model, we try to examine EMA to explain how job performance through EMA is revealed from both the task-technology fit for EMA and satisfaction on EMA, while also considering the antecedent factors for these constructs. The objectives of this study are to address the following research questions: (1) How can employees successfully manage EMA in order to enhance their perceived job performance? (2) What internal and/or external factors are important antecedents in increasing EMA users' satisfaction on MES and task-technology fit for EMA? (3) What are the impacts of organizational (e.g. organizational agility), and task-related antecedents (e.g., task mobility) on task-technology fit for EMA? (4) What are the impacts of internal (e.g., self-efficacy) and external antecedents (e.g., system reputation) for the habitual use of EMA? Based on a survey from 254 actual employees who use EMA in their workplace across industries, our results indicate that task-technology fit for EMA and satisfaction on EMA are positively associated with job performance. We also identify task mobility, organizational agility, and system accessibility that are found to be positively associated with task-technology fit for EMA. Further, we find that external factor, such as the reputation of EMA, and internal factor, such as self-efficacy for EMA that are found to be positively associated with the satisfaction of EMA. The present findings enable researchers and practitioners to understand the role of EMA, which facilitates organizational workers' efficient work processes, as well as the importance of task-technology fit for EMA. Our model provides a new set of antecedents and consequence variables for a TAM involving mobile applications. The research model also provides empirical evidence that EMA are important mobile services that positively influence individuals' performance. Our findings suggest that perceived organizational agility and task mobility do have a significant influence on task-technology fit for EMA usage through positive beliefs about EMA, that self-efficacy and system reputation can also influence individuals' satisfaction on EMA, and that these factors are important contingent factors for the impact of system satisfaction and perceived job performance. Our findings can help managers gauge the impact of EMA in terms of its contribution to job performance. Our results provide an explanation as to why many firms have recently adopted EMA for efficient business processes and productivity support. Our findings additionally suggest that the cognitive fit between task and technology can be an important requirement for the productivity support of EMA. Further, our study findings can help managers in formulating their strategies and building organizational culture that can affect employees perceived job performance. Managers, thus, can tailor their dependence on EMA as high or low, depending on their task's characteristics, to maximize the job performance in the workplace. Overall, this study strengthens our knowledge regarding the impact of mobile applications in organizational contexts, technology acceptance and the role of task characteristics. To conclude, we hope that our research inspires future studies exploring digital productivity in the workplace and/or taking the role of EMA into account for employee job performance.
