패션디자이너 직무수행을 위해 필요한 지식수준에 관한 연구 - 한국과 미국을 중심으로 - (The Level of Knowledge Required to Fulfill the Task of Fashion Design -A Cross-cultural Study between South Korea and the United States -)

  • Employees overseas have a need to prepare according to the different environments and industrial structures between countries. Therefore, to investigate qualities for fashion designers to possess when they work abroad, especially in the United States, this study compared the level of knowledge required to fulfill the work of fashion design in both South Korea and the United States. Responses from workers who are engaged to fashion design from the representative online career information systems of two countries, 'Worknet' in South Korea and '$O^*Net$' in the United States, were used as data. Looking at the result derived from the analysis of this study, first by comparing various statistical indicators, results showed the difference between knowledge level required to fashion designer in South Korea and in the United States. Even with the same type of job, because environments and industrial structures of each country are dissimilar, a different level of knowledge will be required in order to perform their tasks. Second, fashion designers in both South Korea and the United States required a high level of knowledge in the 'fine arts', 'administration and management', 'production and processing', and 'design' to perform their duties as a fashion designer. As a result, both countries have similarities that fashion designers need to possess a high level of the knowledge in areas such as 'production of products' as well as 'sales of products'. Furthermore, human relationship field of knowledge such as 'counseling', 'psychology', and 'communication' appeared to be more necessary to fashion designers in South Korea than those in the United States. On the other hand, higher degree of knowledge of 'machines and tools', ' fine arts', and 'transportation' appeared to be more necessary to fashion designers in the United States than those in South Korea.

직업군 분석을 통한 지식기반경제로의 진입 시점에 대한 연구 (Entry Point of a Knowledge-based Economy through Job-group Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 고용노동부의 '임금구조기본통계조사'와 '고용형태별근로실태조사 보고서'를 정량적으로 분석하여 지식기반경제로의 진입 시점에 대한 실증적 연구를 제시하고자 한다. 지식기반경제로의 진입 기준은 Bell과 Toffler의 정의를 통해, 정신노동자 수가 육체노동자 수를 능가하는 시점으로 정하였으며, 정신노동자를 지식정보직으로 분류하였다. Porat의 지식정보직 정의로부터 한국표준직업분류표상의 직업들을 지식정보직, 서비스직, 제조업직, 농어업산림직으로 직업분류를 수행하였다. 분석 결과 지식정보직의 노동자 수 구조변화와 연간임금액 구조변화를 통해 지식정보사회의 진입 시점이 1980년인 미국보다 20년 늦은 2000년임을 실증적으로 확인했다. 또한, 지식기반경 제에서의 직업분류별 경제기여도를 측정하여 지식정보직의 직업분류별 경제기여도가 가장 큰 것을 확인하였다.

치위생과 학생의 방사선 안전관리에 대한 지식과 태도 (Knowledge and Attitude about Radiation Safety Management in Dental Hygiene Students)

  • Purpose : This study identified knowledge, attitudes and behavior for radiation safety management of dental hygiene student. And to provide basic data for the development of effective education program for safety management for radiation protection. Methods : A questionnaire survey of questionnaires was conducted on the second and third grade dental hygiene students at three - year college in 'A' area of Gyeongnam province. The questionnaire of 37 items was used to investigate knowledge and attitude about radiation protection. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA and pearson's correlation Analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program. Result : Results obtained from this study are as follows. 1. Knowledge level of radiation safety management by general characteristics showed statistically significant difference. 2. Radiation safety education knowledge score was higher in the case of radiation safety education(t=1.660, p<.05). 3. The radiation safety management attitude score was a statistically significant difference between the groups according to 'achievement' (F=1.660, p<.001). In the case of 'radiation protection facilities', there was a statistically significant difference between groups according to the recognition of radiation protection facilities (F=6.001, p<.001). 4. As a result of investigating the relationship between radiation safety management knowledge and attitude, the higher the knowledge level of radiation safety management, the higher the attitude(p<.001). Conclusion : Therefore, radiation safety management education should be organized systematically and it is required to improve not only safety management knowledge, attitude level but also action level.

지식경영 전략과 과업 특성간의 연관관계 분석 (Knowledge Management Strategy and Its Link to Task Characteristics)

  • This paper analyzes 96 Korean companies to illustrate the relationship between the knowledge management strategies and task characteristics. Knowledge management strategies can be categorized as being codification- and personalization-oriented. Task characteristics are analyzed from the perspective of content-oriented, process-oriented, number of exceptions, and analyzability. These results illustrate how companies should align the knowledge management strategies with task characteristics. It is found that codification strategy is more likely to be associated with high content-oriented and high analyzability task, and personalization strategy is with high process-oriented task. The survey result confirms that managers should adjust knowledge management strategies in view of the characteristics of the task.

  • As the knowledge is recognized as a core factor of organization's competitiveness and creation of value added, the importance of knowledge management is also increased. To achieve the successful knowledge management, it is important to establish strategy that consider essential purpose of knowledge management such as creating and sharing of knowledge resource, improving performance, and continuing organizational innovation within the organization and influence factor inside and outside of organization. Until now, however, the research for knowledge management strategy was mostly limited to the statistical analysis based on the unilinear causality model, and systematic access and analysis that consider interaction and feedback structure between factors. In this paper, we developed the novel decision-making framework for successful strategy establishment by applying the analytic network process(ANP). Specifically. we derive clusters and components to decide the interaction and feedback structure between the elements of knowledge management by literature studies. And we produced relative importance and preference of clusters, components and alternatives dealing with feedback structure through the survey of experts in the field or related one of knowledge management. In result of this study, we expect that it will help the knowledge officer to decide establishing knowledge management strategy.

조직의 지식경영 준비도(Readiness) 측정도구 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of an Instrument to Measure the Readiness of an Organization for Knowledge Management)

  • The role of knowledge as the key source of potential advantage for organizations and economies has become a hotly debated topic. Some studies found that organizations had their own knowledge management styles. Knowledge Management draws form existing resources that organizations may already have in place. Checking the organization's infrastructures for Knowledge Management is the first step for Knowledge Management. Although the as- is analysis of organizations before knowledge management is important, but there is no study on the readiness for Knowledge Management. This study reports on the development of an instrument designed to measure the readiness of an organization for knowledge Management. Starting with the literature, 4 dimensions - strategy, process, culture/people, and technology - and 18 factors were identified. Then, a questionnaire for measuring readiness was created. Finally, the instrument was pilot tested to prove its reliability and validity. Following the pilot test, the factors all demonstrated acceptable levels of reliability. The result is 19 factors instrument comprising 4 dimensions which provide a useful tool for measuring the readiness for Knowledge Management.

팀 내외의 사회적 자본이 R&D 성과에 미치는 영향: 지식공유의 매개효과 (The Effect of Social Capital within and outside the Team on the R&D Performance: The Mediating Role of Knowledge Sharing)

  • This study explores the role of knowledge sharing between their social capital and performance in R&D setting. R&D environment is composed of experts from various domains with different backgrounds, such as technologies and experiences. Thus, increasing team social capital and enhancing knowledge sharing are critical for R&D performance. Social capital and Knowledge sharing are classified into two : Social capital and Knowledge sharing within/outside team. A empirical study was conducted at a research institute of large company that leads the advanced research and development of the domestic chemical industry. Data was collected 292 copies out of 500 copies (Response rate 58.4%). The result indicated that both social capital within and outside team had a positive effect on R&D Performance. Social capital within team had a significant impact on knowledge sharing within the team only, and social capital outside team had a significant effect on knowledge sharing outside the team only. Only knowledge sharing outside the team had a positive effect on R&D Performance and the mediating role of knowledge sharing was acquired for social capital outside team and R&D Performance only. From these key findings, this study suggests that, within the team, social capital alone can achieve results, but outside the team, it is necessary that not only social capital but also knowledge sharing are needed in order to achieve results.

평가와 보상이 지식경영 참여의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Influence of Appraisal and Reward Satisfaction on Commitment in Knowledge Management)

  • In this study, we tried to find the factors that influenced appraisal and reward satisfaction in knowledge management, and to observe whether appraisal and reward satisfaction were related to employees' commitment to knowledge management. Analyzing valid 38 data in the organizational level, we found that only result validity and reward justness affected employee appraisal and reward satisfaction. Also, if was found that appraisal and reward satisfaction were related to employees' commitment to knowledge management. The implications of the findings and future research directions were discussed.

치위생학과와 타 학과 학생의 결핵에 대한 지식이 예방행위에 미치는 융합적 영향 -결핵에 대한 태도의 매개효과를 중심으로- (The convergence effects of knowledge of tuberculosis prevention behavior dental hygiene and other majoring students -Focusing on the mediator effect of behavior toward tuberculosis-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 치위생학과 학생과 타 학과 학생의 결핵(Tuberculosis) 감염에 대한 지식과 태도 및 예방 행위 사이의 관계를 확인하는 것으로 하였다. 일반적 특성은 백분율을 구하였고, 결핵에 대한 지식, 태도, 예방행위의 관련성 분석은 상관관계분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 치위생학과 학생들의 결핵 감염에 대한 평균점수는 지식 13.56점, 태도 45.75점, 예방행위 41.75점 이었다. 타 학과 학생들의 결핵 감염에 대한 평균점수는 지식 12.93점, 태도 45.58점, 예방행위 42.01점 이었다. 두 그룹 학생들의 결핵에 대한 지식에서 예방행위에 미치는 태도의 매개효과 결과, 학생들의 결핵지식은 태도에 영향을 미치지만 예방행위에는 영향을 미치지 않고, 태도는 예방행위에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 학생들의 결핵 감염에 대한 예방행위를 향상시키기 위해서는 지식과 태도의 조정이 필요할 수 있다. 본 연구는 학생들의 결핵 감염 예방을 위한 교육 프로그램에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Knowledge management (KM) is emerging as a robust management mechanism with which an organization can remain highly intelligent and competitive in a turbulent market. Organization knowledge is at the heart of KM success. As a vehicle of acquiring organizational knowledge in a distributed decision-making environment, we applied a fuzzy cognitive map (FMM) technique and proved its effectiveness in a distributed knowledge management environment. Our approach was applied to the financial statement analysis problem, yielding a robust result.
