  • Various lean design and construction methods such as target value design, pull planning, value stream mapping have successfully transformed the commercial building construction industry into achieving improved productivity, higher design and construction quality, and meeting the target values of construction projects. Considering the significant advantages of lean, the accelerated dissemination and adoption of lean methods and tools for construction is highly desirable. Currently, the lean design and construction body of knowledge is imparted primarily through publications and conferences. However, one of the most effective ways to impart this soft knowledge is through getting students and trainees involved in hands-on participatory games, which can quickly help them truly understand the concept and apply it to real-world problems. The COVID-19 Pandemic has raised an urgent need of developing virtual games that can be played simultaneously from various locations over the Internet, but these virtual games should be as effective as in-person games. This research develops an online 3D simulation game for Target Value Design that is as effective as in-person games or possibly better in terms of knowledge capture and retention and enjoyable environment and experience. The virtual game is tested on volunteers using feedback from pre-and post- simulation surveys to evaluate its efficacy.

시맨틱웹 기술과 활용방안 (The SemanticWeb Technology and its Applications)

  • 시맨틱웹은 기계가독형 정의에 기반한 정보의 연계를 통해 웹 자원을 지식화함으로써 정보의 효율적 검색, 통합, 재사용을 도모하는 새로운 기술이다. 시맨틱웹의 구축은 자원에 불변 고유식별자를 부과하는 URI 체제, 각 정보기관에서 생성되는 요소와 속성의 의미 충돌을 방지하는 XML 네임스페이스, 메타데이터 스키마를 활용한 호환적 자원기술을 가능하게 하는 RDF, 메타 데이터 요소 및 이와 연관된 클래스와 속성 관계 정의의 기반이 되는 RDF 스키마, 그리고 RDF 스키마 위에 논리적 추론과 표현력을 강화한 웹 온톨로지 언어 DAML+OIL 및 그 건조자 (constructors)를 삭제 또는 수정 보완한 OWL (Web Ontology Language) 등의 여러 핵심 개념과 기술을 필요로 하는 작업이다. 이 논문은 이러한 개념과 기술의 점진적 발전 양상을 개괄 설명하고, XML/RDF 스키마를 기반으로 메타데이터 요소들을 정의할 경우 도출할 수 있는 상호운용성과 온톨로지의 다양한 활용 방안 등을 고찰한다.

영재교육 담당교원 직무연수 대상자들의 관심도 분석 및 교사연수 후 변화 (An analysis of Concerns of the Teachers Responsible for Gifted Education and Differences by stage after the OJT (On-the-Job))

  • 이 연구는 관심중심수용모형(Concern-Based Adoption Model)을 통해서 영재교육 담당교원 직무연수 연수대상 교사들의 영재교육에 대한 단계별 관심도와 연수 후 관심도 변화 수준 차이를 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 B광역시 영재교육진흥원에서 주관한 2014학년도 초 중등 영재교육 담당교원 직무연수에 참여하였던 연수 교원 162명 중에서 설문에 성실하게 응답해준 102명을 대상으로 교사들의 변인별(성별, 학교 급별, 과목별) 영재교육에 대한 관심도와 연수 전과 후의 관심도 차이를 분석하였다. 이 연구를 통해 영재교육 담당교원 기초과정 직무연수는 영재교사를 양성하고 영재교육에 대한 저변확대를 위해서 반드시 필요한 연수이며, 연수대상 교사들에게 영재교육에 대한 자신감을 향상 시켜주고 관심도에 대한 필요를 충족시켜주고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

베트남 모바일결재시스템 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on Factors Affecting Customer Intention to Use Mobile Payment System in Vietnam)

  • Nowadays, mobile commerce is having an increasingly profound impact on our daily lives, and offer interesting and advantageous new services. Mobile payment is an emerging and important application of mobile commerce in smart work, enabling users to use their mobile devices (especially mobile phones) for paying goods and services wherever they go. The appearance of m-payment is expected to provide us a convenient and bright future to enjoy. That is the common trend on over the world, but in Vietnam, although the number of smart phone users has been increasing rapidly, the adoption of m-payment system still didn't succeed completely. The research reviewed literature regarding mobile payment services, analyzed the impact of customer characteristics and system characteristics on m-payment adoption in Vietnam. To analyze the adoption behaviors of m-payment users, m-payment research model which consists of three customer-characteristics (m-payment trust, personal innovativeness, m-payment knowledge) and four m-payment system characteristics (mobility, reachability, convenience, compatibility) were studied. The results indicate that perceived usefulness, trust, and compatibility are the important predictors to the intention to use m-payment. This study will assist m-payment services suppliers in implementing appropriate business models and service strategies to successfully attract customer to use m-payment in Vietnam, allowing managers to exert appropriate investment, time, and effort for m-payment system development in designing smart working.

UCC 지식 동영상 공유 서비스의 고객 모델 분석 사례 (Customer Model Analysis for UCC Knowledge Sharing Service : A Case)

  • 인터넷을 통한 지식의 유통이 텍스트 형태의 지식뿐만 아니라 동영상 형태의 지식 유통으로 진화하고 있는 상황에서, UCC 지식 동영상을 공유하는 서비스가 나타나왔다. 본 논문은 동영상 UCC를 중심으로 지식 공유를 하는 'H' 사이트의 비즈니스 모델 평가 과정에서 수행된 고객 모델 분석사례를 보고한다. UCC 지식 동영상 공유 서비스는, 텍스트 형태의 지식공유 형태를 벗어나 새로운 형태인 동영상으로 지식을 공유한다는 점에서 불연속적 혁신의 형태를 띠며, 컨텐트 제공자와 컨텐트 소비자가 상호 매개되므로 직간접적 네트워크 효과가 일어나는 Value Network라는 특성을 가진다. 이렇게 불연속적 혁신이 일어나는 Value Network의 고객 모델 분석을 위해 첨단기술수용주기 이론인 캐즘 이론과 이를 심화 발전시킨 테크노그래픽스, 그리고 블루오션 전략에서 소개된 비고객 분석을 적용하여, UCC 지식 동영상 공유 사이트인 'H'사이트의 To-Be 고객 모델을 제안한다.

지식경영의 동태적 가치사슬 모형 구축 (Dynamic Value Chain Modeling of Knowledge Management)

  • This study suggests the dynamic value chain model, that will be able to not only show changing processes to organization's significant capital by integrating an individual, implicit, and explicit knowledge which affect organizational decision making, but also distinguish the key driver for raising organizational competitive power because it makes possible to analyze sensitivity of performance along with decision making alternatives and policy changes from dynamic view by connecting knowledge management capability, knowledge management activity, and relations with organizational performance with specific strategic map. Recently, a lot of organizations show interest in measuring and evaluating their performance synthetically. In organizations taking knowledge management, they introduce effective value chain model like a dynamic balanced scorecard (DBSC), and therefore they can reflect their knowledge management condition as well as show their changes by checking performance of established vision and strategy periodically. Furthermore, they can ask for their inner members' understanding and participation by communicating with and inspiring their members with awareness that members are one of their group, present a base of benchmarking, and offer significant information for later decision making. The BSC has been a successful framework for measuring an organization's performance in various perspectives through translating an organization's vision and strategy into an interrelated set of key performance indicators and specific actions. The BSC, while having significant strengths over traditional performance measurement methods, however, has its own limitations, due to its static nature, such as overlooking two-way causation between performance indicators and neglecting the impact of delayed feedback flowing from the adoption of new strategies or policy changes. To overcome these limitations, this study employs SD, a methodology for understanding complex systems where dynamic feedback among the interrelated system components significantly impact on the system outcomes. The SD simulation model in the form of DBSC would serve as a useful strategic teaming tool for facilitating an organization's communication process through various scenario analyses as well as predicting the dynamic behavior pattern of their key performance measures over a future time frame. For the demonstration purpose, this study applied the DBSC model to Prototype of Korea manufacturing and service firm.

  • 지식 공유 라이브 방송의 출현은 라이브 방송 플랫폼에 더 많은 다원화적인 내용을 제공하였다. 지식 공유 라이브 방송 사용자의 사용 의향에 대한 영향 요인을 분석하면 인터넷 라이브 방송 플랫폼으로 하여금 이러한 내용에 관심을 가지는 사용자의 사용 특징을 더 잘 이해하게 할 수 있다. 또한 플랫폼 운영업체에 더 좋은 서비스를 제공하여 라이브 방송 플랫폼의 혁신에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구는 TAM모델을 기반으로 설문조사와 구조방정식 모형을 이용해 지식 공유 라이브 방송 중 사용자 의향에 대한 영향 요인에 관한 개념 모형을 구축하고 지식 사용자의 영향 요인 모형에 대해 실증 분석을 진행한다. 데이터 분석 결과에 따르면, 사용자가 지식 공유 라이브 방송 태도에 미치는 유의한 영향은 지각된 유용성이고 다음은 몰입 체험이며, 지각된 가치는 사용자 태도와 사용 의향에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 사용자 태도의 긍정적 영향은 사용자의 사용 의향에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

A Training Intervention for Supervisors to Support a Work-Life Policy Implementation

  • Background: Effective policy implementation is essential for a healthy workplace. The Ryan-Kossek 2008 model for work-life policy adoption suggests that supervisors as gatekeepers between employer and employee need to know how to support and communicate benefit regulations. This article describes a workplace intervention on a national employee benefit, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and evaluates the effectiveness of the intervention on supervisor knowledge, awareness, and experience with FMLA. Methods: The intervention consisted of computer-based training (CBT) and a survey measuring awareness and experience with FMLA. The training was administered to 793 county government supervisors in the state of Oregon, USA. Results: More than 35% of supervisors reported no previous training on FMLA and the training pre-test revealed a lack of knowledge regarding benefit coverage and employer responsibilities. The CBT achieved: (1) a significant learning effect and large effect size of d = 2.0, (2) a positive reaction to the training and its design, and (3) evidence of increased knowledge and awareness regarding FMLA. Conclusion: CBT is an effective strategy to increase supervisors' knowledge and awareness to support policy implementation. The lack of supervisor training and knowledge of an important but complex employee benefit exposes a serious impediment to effective policy implementation and may lead to negative outcomes for the organization and the employee, supporting the Ryan-Kossek model. The results further demonstrate that long-time employees need supplementary training on complex workplace policies such as FMLA.

게이미피케이션과 대체현실게임 개념을 적용한 지식정보콘텐츠 사례 연구 (A Case study of Knowledge & Information Contents applied Gamification and Alternate Reality Game concepts)

  • 최근 게임이 아닌 분야에 게임적 기법을 도입하여 해당 분야의 효율을 높이는 게이미피케이션의 적용이 활발하다. 게이미피케이션이 적용된 한 방식으로 대체현실게임이 있다. 용어상으로는 여느 게임과 다를 바 없어 보이지만 현실과 가상의 경계를 허무는 게임으로 처음에는 엔터테인먼트 분야(영화, 광고, 드라마의 홍보용)에서 주로 사용되었지만 현재는 그 범위를 확장하여 지식정보콘텐츠에서도 활용사례를 볼 수 있다. 지식정보콘텐츠의 목적은 재미보다는 의미와 효용을 추구하는데 여기에 게임방식을 도입했다는 것은 흥미롭다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우선 대체현실게임, 게이미피케이션의 개념을 살펴보고, 일반적인 대체현실게임의 사례를 분석한 다음 그것의 특성과 진행 방식을 파악한다. 이어서 지식정보콘텐츠에 대체현실게임 방식이 도입된 사례의 분석을 통해 현황을 살펴보고, 향후 다양한 분야에의 활용가능성을 제시한다.

서울시내 실업계 여고생들의 성지식 태도 및 행위에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on the Knowledge. Attitude and Behavior of Commercial Girl's High School Students Toward Sex)

  • Sex education is necessary for the youth that they should have an adequate sexual knowledge, attitudes and behaviors in their adolescent period. Four major objectives of this study are as follows; 1. To know the level of sexual knowledge of commercial girl's high school students in Seoul. 2. To know their actual state for the attitudes and behaviors toward sex. 3. To compare the sexual knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of day time school students with those of night time school students. 4. To compare the factors associated with their sexual knowledge, attitudes and behaviors with the individual level. Data were collected on 986 students in Seoul from April 1 to April 10, 1983. As the result of this survey, the following conclusions were obtained. 1. The level of sexual knowledge. (1) The level of knowledge of day time high school students about the physiology of female and pregnancy is shown higher than those of night time students. 64.2% of the respondents are aware of the organ producing ovum. 56.4% the ovulation period. 95.6% the cause of pregnancy. 74.5% the pregnantable period and 12.7% the place of fetilization. (2) Out of 986 respondents. 71.8% knew about contraceptive method correctly, and day time school students knew litter better than night time school students, by showing 73.9% and 69.7% respectively. They knew about contraceptive method with 'oral pills'. 'menstrual cycles', 'condoms'. and 'loops' in the same order. 3) Kinds of veneral disease was correctly known by 37.9%. Day time students knew much better than night time school students. by showing 67.8% and 7.9%. respectively. Transmission method of veneral disease was correctly known by 28.3%. Day time students knew much better than night time students, by showing 51.2% and 5.3%, respectively. (4) The major information source of sexual knowledge was 'book and magazine' (39.9%) and 'friends' (27.4%). 2. Actual state of attitudes and behaviors toward sex. (1) Out of 986 respondents, 84.0% answered that premarital purity should be kept. (2) Out of 986 respondents, 60.8% had an acquaintance of the opposite sex. 45.2% of students with opposite sex reported introduction of their friends as the main channel of making an acquaintance of the opposite sex. (3) Of those who responded to this study 13.8% reported having masturbation, 21.5% kissing, 6.2% petting and 3.7% sex intercourse. (4) 64.8% had sexual problems, which was mensturance (27.2%), aquaintance of the opposite sex (25.4%). The main method to solve the problems were consultation with 'friends' and 'books and magazine' percentage being 39.1% and 30.8%, respectively, whereas very small students discussed with 'teachers' and 'parents' percentages being 0.3% and 5.9%, respectively. (5) Out of 986 respondents, 62.2% had experience in educating about sex, the percentage of day time school was higher than that of night time school. (6) 88.2% of students wanted sex education in school, which were 'general information about sex' (35.4%), 'sexual morality and solution of sexual desire' (18.5%), 'aquaintance of the opposite sex' (13.3%) and 'marriage and role of man and woman' (12.4%) in the same order. They wanted to be instructed about sexes in the lecture of physical education, home economics, biology, military training (59.9%), regular curriculum (17.5%), special lecture (16.9%) and by the counselor or school nurse (5.7%). 3. Analyse concerning the factors about the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors. (1) The better school record was, the higher the level of sexual knowledge. (2) Those who have the religion considered the permarital purity more important than those who have not, the percentage showing 86.7% and 80.7%, respectively. (3) The result of dyad analysis of making acquaintance of the opposite sex in the friendship network showed that a high index of the acquaintance of the opposite sex tends to be a high adoption of making one at the individual level in the group, while the low index tends to be a low adoption of making one in the group.
