This research is based on the circumstances of the regular employees in the industry. The purpose of this research is to help the intern employees improve the competitiveness in getting jobs. Therefore, it aims to provide basic direction on the education of intern employees. Major findings of this research may contribute to the new education system for intern employees in which the opinions of both students and industry are reflected. Additionally, we hope to help improve the competitiveness of travel industry under the rapidly changing environment. Major findings of this research are like the followings; First, evaluation factors of internship include self-discipline, positiveness, technology, the capability to conduct the given job, reports, the intensity of inquiry, knowledge, cooperation and the understanding. Second, evaluation factors of internship have positive impacts on the internship education(positiveness, the intensity of inquiry, discipline) and the decision making of job finding(discipline, positiveness, cooperation).

The World Association for Sexology (WAS) will adopt a Declaration of Sexual Rights as basic and fundamental human rights August this year in Hong Kong. Two years ago WAS has been developing a Declaration of Sexual Rights in order to further promote sexual health and protect the sexual rights of everyone. Undoubtedly sexuality is one of the most intriguing subjects in the area of human behavior and psychology, and has been so since antiquity. The influence of sexual factors of human on all aspects of the society has been immense. The varieties of marriage, from traditional to the open marriage model are presented in front of our sight. The influences of women's movement in Korea, which has produced sexual, psychological, economic, political, familial and social changes look so small and the changes are not that much in America. But the profound effects of the women's movement affect on Korean society being realized as man's view of woman and woman's view of herself undergo constant change and reevaluation. With increased sexual awareness on the part of the public owing to mass media, for example AH-U-SEONG aired in TV and with increased emphasis on sexual matters in daily life, more and more physicians are being asked to deal with and manage sex-related problems in their daily practice. Yet, despite the obvious need for informed sexual counseling, doctors are often uncomfortable about sexual matters and many physicians have no special expertise in this area. So physicians concerned in sexology especially such as gynecologists, urologists, psychiatrists and endocrinologists must realize well about sex-related knowledge which is needed for counseling the patient as medical consumer and gap between reality and ideality in sexual diagnosis and treatment. Establishment of management system for the people who have sexual problems is strongly needed to promote sexual health and protect the sexual rights of everyone and for the Sexual Rights as basic and fundamental human rights.

The distinction between isolated and combined injuries is crucial both for treatment and prognosis. For most combined injuries, surgical treatment continues to be favored over nonoperative treatment. It is generally agreed that isolatel PCL injuries do well without surgery. There has been an interest by many authors to fix the graft directly to the posterior aspect of the tibia(tibial inlay). With this procedure, tibial graft fixation will be more direct and theoretically reduce the bending effects of the graft with a fixation site far away from the tibial insertion. Modified tibial inlay technique, which is the posterior approach does not require the patient to be in the prone or lateral decubitus position during the operation. Use of a double-bundle reconstructive technique is attractive and has been performed by some surgeons. At this time, this procedure is still being investigated and should not be routinely used in the clinical setting until studies have indicated an advantage over current single-bundle techniques. However theologically, double-bundle reconstructive technique is more useful in severe posterior unstable knee. Recent advances have increased our knowledge of the anatomy and mechanical characteristics of the PCL. Basic science research has further increased our awareness of the interaction of the posterolateral structures with the PCL. To achieve restoration of normal posterior laxity, it is critical to address the posterior as well as the postero-lateral structures. Surgical treatment is often complex and requires a wide range of surgical techniques and skills to treat associated injuries. When the PCL is reconstructed, most surgeons choose to reconstruct the anterolateral component using a graft of sufficient size and strength. The initial postoperative rehabilitation should be addressed cautiously in an effort to avoid excessive forces on delicate repairs and reconstructions in these complex injuries. Further research is necessary to evaluate new surgical approaches such as double-bundle reconstructions and tibial inlay techniques as well as improved techniques for capsular and collateral ligament injuries.

In the knowledge-based economy, firms are increasingly exploiting their intellectual properties, especially patents. However, firms usually fail to commercialize all of their patents and some of them are not used even for strategic purposes. Therefore managing sleeping patents constitutes one important aspect of firms' overall patent strategies. This paper considers market uncertainty, technology uncertainty and strategic uncertainty as the reasons for sleeping patents. We analyze how firms' patent-related activities can reduce sleeping patent ratios. The firms' activities examined in here are patent audit, preliminary evaluation, prior art and cooperation. Noticing the prevalence of sleeping patents, this paper contributes by providing insights into how firm's activities affect the sleeping patent ratios. Insights for practitioners and policy makers have been provided from the empirical results.

The purpose of this study lies in investigating the resent state and characteristics of monographs produced by Korea and Japan, which are the research products on each other's political and economic situations for the period of 1901-2000. To this end, we identified the major political and economic events and issues in the Korea-Japan relations, also collected comprehensively the monographs produced by each county regarding earth other, and analyzed the resent state md characteristics of the monographs with a special emphasis on the publication period, subject matter and producer. Also identified was the relationship between the production of monographs and the Korea-Japan political and economic relations from a historical perspective. Finally, we suggested the necessity of a knowledge and information system for both effective management and efficient control of such research products.

The most important identity of public library is local public goods that guarantee access and use of knowledge and information of local residents. To justify this, the library must create an optimal lighting environment. Particularly, since the perception rate of information through vision is over 80%, it is necessary to secure proper illuminance. This study measured the illuminance level of public libraries in Daegu. Based on the results, this study suggested a desirable illuminance level for each space and proposed plans to secure and maintain proper illuminance(prospective revision of the KS A 3011, setting the illuminance range for each space of the local government, replacing the existing lighting fixtures with LED, enhance supervision of lighting management, establishment of basic principles for proper lighting and detailed plans for each space of the library, investigation and reflection on users' complaints and satisfaction, etc.)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual condition of fashion sales related persons and analyze their different role recognition in women's Ready-To-Wear shops. A questionnaire was administered to 378 fashion sales related persons in department stores and individual shops. Data were analyzed by using crosstabs, $X^2$, t-test, Scheffe's test and ANOVA by using of SPSS PC program. The results of this study were as follows: 1. In the role of fashion salespersons, managers participated highly in the merchandise buying plan, actual merchandise buying and advertisement, and shopmasters participated in the management of salespersons and keeping good relation with customers and display. 2. There was significant difference according to the existence of shopmasters in sales promotion. Shops with shopmasters had regular sales and filed up customer cards. 3. Shopmasters and salespersons attached importance to fashion information, market information, sales result information, and managers attached importance to customer information, enterprise environment information in utilizing of informations. Managers considered customer survey very important but shopmasters and salespersons did not. Shopmasters, managers, and salespersons all attached importance to customers' preference survey as customers' information source. 4. There were significant differences in lifestyle survey, buying method survey, preference survey, street fashion survey, brand identity survey and advertizement effect survey of customers by the different roles of fashion salespersons. 5. There were significant differences in the degree of merchandise knowledge, service and after service in sales service recognition by the different roles of fashion salespersons.

The study aims to build a model for evaluating the effectiveness of activities and the effectiveness of financial investments in high-tech industries in Kazakhstan. The development of high-tech industries plays an important role in the economic growth of a country. In this regard, it is relevant to study the effectiveness of financing the most important industry in Kazakhstan. The development of the high-tech sector ensures the efficient functioning of the national innovation system. High-tech enterprises are one of the competitive sectors that allow us to develop and implement leading-edge innovations with the goal of their subsequent commercialization domestically and abroad. The author defines the multicriteria of efficiency in a knowledge-based economy associated with achieving an economic effect with multivariate correlation of results with costs. A multivariate dynamic model, an integral indicator of performance, an integral indicator of cost-effectiveness is proposed. The assessment of the effectiveness of financial costs and performance indicators in all regions of Kazakhstan have the positive dynamics of indicators, as well as a high economic effect. The results of the study can be applied in regional management to adequately assess the effectiveness of high-tech organizations and the effectiveness of financial investments, contribution to ensuring the economic security of the region.

This study develops a model for establishing and operating "Arts and Humanities Business Incubators (AHBI)" to improve the productivity in the field of arts and humanities, the major resource of the knowledge-based society. The AHBI is a center that provides general assistance to those who want to start a new business in the area of arts and humanities and continue to provide managerial consultation to those who graduated from the AHBI. This research provides systematically how to provide the hardwares such as office space computers and furniture, and how to supply the softwares such as management skills, financing, and marketing. This research indicates that the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Industry should develop AHBIs, and suggests that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism establish AHBIs in its Cultural Industry Incubation Centers. This research expects that government research institutes or professional institutes operate AHBI to create job opportunities for arts and humanities majors, to add the academic value of arts and humanities, and to vitalize the local economy.l economy.

A systematic brand value management starts from its measurement. Accordingly, a number of studies have proposed to measure the value of the brands. However, most of them deal with the brand value of the tangible products. Also, in many cases, such an effort did not bring long-lasting effects because either it ended up with an one-time measurement or it employed a different measurement method each time, thus hampering the comparability of the results and the accumulation of knowledge over time. So, this study has measured retail brand value index of the discount stores and the department stores of Korea every year between 2002 and 2004. And then it provides what they have found over that period. In addition this study examines the significant relationship between retail brand value components and the market performance.
