  • 최근 국내에서도 관 동맥 질환 환자의 수가 급증하고 있으며, 관 동맥 질환의 치료 방법인 관 동맥 성형 술은 관 동맥 stent의 도입에 의하여 보편화되어 국내에서 년간 5000개 이상의 stent가 시술되고 있다. 그러나 stent는 고가(1,200천원/개)로 전량 수입에 의존하고 있으며, 시술 후 사망까지 이를 수 있는 혈전에 의한 급성 페쇠와 재 협착이 문제점이다. 이를 위한 한가지 방법이 생체 적합성이 뛰어난 복합 stent의 개발인데 SiC나 Carbon을 coating한 stent는 시술 후 혈전 형성을 억제하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 특히 가장 순수한 Pyrolytic carbon은 hemocompatibility가 탁월하고 기밀 성이기 때문에 본 연구에서 그의 CVB-Kinetics를 연구코저 하는 것이다. methane으로부터 pyrolytic carbon의 CVD는 온도에 따라서 다양한 구조를 가지며 따라서 그의 mechanism도 다양하다는 것은 잘 알려져 있다. 더구나 광간(균질)반응과 표면(불균질)반응의 정량적 관계에 따라서도 다르다는 것도 확인되었다. 그러나 stainless steel 316L로 만든 stent는 12 - 15 %의 Ni과 2%의 Mo을 함유해서 금속성을 잃지 않는 저온(600℃)에서도 pyrolytic carbon의 속매적 CVD가 가능함을 그리고 SiC의 코팅에 적합한 buffer layer 역할을 함을 확인하였다. 그리하여 본 연구는 반응기 설계에 필요한 저온 촉매적 pyrolytic carbon의 CVD-kinetics의 연구결로 그의 mechanism과 함께 rate law 식을 유도, 확인하였으며 600℃, 90kPa에서 P/sub ch4//P/sub H2/=5:1과 체류시간 1.8 sec가 최적임을 발견하였다. 이때 석출속도 11.2 g-mol/g-cat.h 혹은 두께속도로 73 nm/sec를 나타내었다.메타놀-물 (1 : 1) 유출액에서 $(0.80\;{\mu}g)$ 검출되었다. 하면 morey eel내장에서 얻은 독물질도 DEAE-셀루로즈에서 ST-1 과 ST-2로 나누어지며, 이 ST-1의 TLC, HPLC 및 알루미나 컬럼상의 거동이 파랑비늘돔에서 얻은 ST-1의 그것과 같으므로 scaritoxin으로 보고한 ST-1은 ciguatoxin의 형태인 less polar cigutoxin (LPCTX) 으로 생각된다.에서 각각 대조구의 57, 413 및 315% 증진되었다. 거품의 열안정성은 15분 whipping시, pH 4.0(대조구, 30.2%) 및 5.0(대조구, 23.7%)에서 각각 $0{\sim}38.0$$0{\sim}57.0%$이었고 pH 7.0(대조구, 39.6%) 및 8.0(대조구, 43.6%)에서 각각 $0{\sim}59.4$$36.6{\sim}58.4%$이었으며 sodium alginate 첨가시가 가장 양호하였다. 전체적으로 보아 거품안정성이 높은 것은 열안정성도 높은 경향이며, 표면장력이 낮으면 거품형성능이 높아지고, 비점도가 높으면 거품안정성 및 열안정성이 높아지는 경향이 있었다.protocol.eractions between application agents that are developed using different languages. 친수성/소수성 수평 표면상에서의 액적이송 메커니즘 (Droplet Transport Mechanism on Horizontal Hydrophilic/Hydrophobic Surfaces)

  • 유체이송 기술은 최근 마이크로 유체시스템 개발에서 핵심문제로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 저자가 제안한 외부동력을 사용하지 않고 액적을 이송시킬 수 있는 새로운 개념인 친수성/소수성 수평 표면에서의 액적이송을 자체개발 코드(PowerCFD)를 사용하여 수치해석하였다. 수치해석에 사용된 코드는 보존적인 압력기반 유한체적방법에 기초한 비정렬 셀 중심 방법 및 VOF 방법에 체적포착법인 CICSAM을 채용하고 있다. 액적 내 및 주위의 속도벡터, 압력분포 및 전체운동에너지와 같은 수치해석 결과를 제시하고 이 결과들을 통해 액적이송 메커니즘을 규명하였다.

  • A design for the front section of an excavator requires kinematic and kinetic mechanism consideration for several configurations. Key parameters for an appropriate configuration can be obtained through a mechanical verification and numerical formulation with a design expert's know-how. In this paper, we propose a knowledge-based system with an expert-shell(CATIA) and Visual Basic to assist for the design of the front section of an excavator. The designers can achieve more efficient design through a CAD model, implemented design knowledge, and a user friendly interface. The implemented design knowledge is retrieved through the whole design process from an early design stage to a detailed design stage based on the multiple levels of abstraction scheme.

  • Numerical simulations of freely propagating flames burning stoichiometric $CH_4$/$O_2$/$N_2$ mixtures are performed at atmospheric pressure in order to understand the effect of the $O_2$ enrichment level on $CH_4$/Air flame. A chemical kinetic mechanism is employed, the adopted scheme involving 54 gas-phase species and 632 forward reactions. The calculated flame. speeds are compared with the experiments for the flames established at several $O_2$ enrichment level, the results of which is in excellent agreement. As a result of the increased $O_2$ enrichment level from 0.21 to 1, the mole fraction of CO in the burned gas is increased. The flame speed and the temperature in the burned gas are also increased, but the thickness of the flame is severely shrunken in the preheat region.

동익과 정익의 블레이드 개수 비가 익렬의 비정상 공기역학적 특성에 미치는 영향에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (Effects of Rotor-Stator Blade Count Ratio on the Unsteady Aerodynamic Characteristics of a Cascade)

  • Effects of rotor-stator blade count ratio on the unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of a cascade was studied by using a Navier-Stokes code. Present Navier-Stokes code is a parallel code and works on a multi-cpu machine. It is based on the SIMPLE algorithm and uses QUICK scheme for convection terms and second order back difference for all temporal derivatives. Computations were carried out for two cases : case 1 is for 3 stator cascade passages subjected to two upstream wakes while case 2 is for 2 stator cascade passages subjected to three upstream wakes. Numerical solutions show that rotor-stator blade count ratio plays a significant role in the unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of the stator cascade. Case 2 shows smaller unsteady fluctuation than case 1, even if they show the same time averaged value. The smaller fluctuation of case 2 is believed due to strong interaction between unsteady vortices. The unsteady lift variation of case 2 is shown to have many high frequency fluctuations as more unsteady vortices travel around the cascade. The unsteady turbulent kinetic energy due to the upstream wake is also shown to decay faster through the cascade passage than in the free stream.

  • 본 연구에서는 conchas-spray 코드를 근간으로 하여 기관 실린더 내의 난류유 동과 난류연소 현상을 경제적이고 정확하게 해석할 수 있는 다차원 수치해석 프로그램 을 개발하므로, 전기점화 기관의 흡입, 압축, 연소 과정에 대한 수치해석의 가능성을 제시하고, 스월수 0.0, 0.6, 1.2와 2.4의 파라미터 연구를 통하여 스월이 난류유동 및 난류연소에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다.

  • We conduct the research for reducing aeroacoustic noise occurred when a vehicle operates in high speed situation without modifying the structural configuration such as deforming A-pillar's side curvature. We introduce PAU (Pneumatic Auxiliary Unit) which is a sort of air duct using intake air through radiator grill. According to our research, we can reduce overall noise levels around the surface of HSM (Hyundai Simplified Model). When a vehicleruns 100km/s, area-weighted acoustic power level (AWAPL) indicates 33dB without PAU. However with PAU, coverall AWAPL is decreased to 29dB which means we can improvesilentness approximately 12% compared to ordinary case. Moreover we conduct similar implementation to steering situation especially about yawing. In varioussituations, -10, 0, 10 degree of yawing, we observe 10% reduction in the upstream region of HSM but little increase in downstream region. It seems that inlet air overlap turbulent kinetic energy to surrounding flow. Even though downstream region's noise is louder than upstream region, overall AWAPL is still lower than conventional condition. We also apply this scheme to the real vehicle situation, then we get reasonable output which can support our research outputs.

A Gas Phase Kinetic Study on the Thermal Decomposition of $ClCH_2CH_2CH_2Br$

  • The gas phase thermal decomposition of 1-bromo-3-chloropropane in the presence of radical inhibitor was studied by using the conventional static system. The mechanism of unimolecular elimination channel is shown below. [...] In this scheme, the total molecular dissociation rate constant, ($k_1\;+\;k_2$), for the decomposition of $BrCH_2CH_2CH_2Cl$ was determined by pyrolyzing the $BrCH_2CH_2CH_2Cl$ in the temperature range of $380-420^{\circ}C$ and in the pressure range of 10∼100 torr. To obtain $k_3\;and\;k_4,\;and\;to\;obtain\;k_1\;and\;k_2$ independently, the thermal decompositions of allyl chloride and allyl bromide were also studied. The Arrhenius parameters for each step are as follows; $log\;A_{\infty}\;=\;14.20(sec^{-1}),\;E_a$ = 56.10(kcal/mol) for reaction path 1; $log\;A_{\infty}\;=\;12.54(sec^{-1}),\;E_a$ = 49.75(kcal/mol) for reaction path 2; $log\;A_{\infty}\;=\;13.41(sec^{-1}),\;E_a$ = 50.04(kcal/mol) for reaction path 3; $log\;A_{\infty}\;=\;12.43(sec^{-1}),\;E_a$ = 52.78(kcal/mol) for reaction path 4; Finally, the experimentally observed pressure dependence of the rate constants in each step is compared with the theoretically predicted values that are obtained by the RRKM calculations.

MHD Turbulence in ISM and ICM

  • Observations indicate that turbulence in molecular clouds of the interstellar medium (ISM) is highly supersonic (M >> 1) and strongly magnetized (β ≈ 0.1), while in the intracluster medium (ICM) it is subsonic (M <~1) and weakly magnetized (β ≈ 100). Here, M is the turbulent Mach number and β is the ratio of the gas to magnetic pressures. Although magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) turbulence in such environments has been previously studied through numerical simulations, some of its properties as well as its consequences are not yet fully described. In this talk, we report a study of MHD turbulence in molecular clouds and the ICM using a newly developed code based the high-order accurate, WENO (Weighted Essentially Non-Oscillatory) scheme. The simulation results using the WENO code are generally in agreement with those presented in the previous studies with, for instance, a TVD code (Porter et al. 2015 &, Park & Ryu 2019), but reveal more detailed structures on small scales. We here present and compare the properties of simulated turbulences with WENO and TVD codes, such as the spatial distribution of density, the density probability distribution functions, and the power spectra of kinetic and magnetic energies. We also describe the populations of MHD shocks and the energy dissipation at the shocks. Finally, we discuss the implications of this study on star formation processes in the ISM and shock dissipation in the ICM.
