Chronic cough is common in the community and causes significant morbidity. Several factors may underlie this problem, but comorbid conditions located at sensory nerve endings that regulate the cough reflex, including rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, asthma, eosinophilic bronchitis, and gastroesophageal reflux disease, are considered important. However, chronic cough is frequently non-specific and accompanied by not easily identifiable causes during the initial evaluation. Therefore, there are unmet needs for developing empirical treatment and practical diagnostic approaches that can be applied in primary clinics. Meanwhile, in referral clinics, a considerable proportion of adult patients with chronic cough are unexplained or refractory to conventional treatment. The present clinical practice guidelines aim to address major clinical questions regarding empirical treatment, practical diagnostic tools for non-specific chronic cough, and available therapeutic options for chronic wet cough in children and unexplained chronic cough in adults in Korea.

Four 3,4-seco-lupane trierpenoids were isolated from the MeOH extract of the leaves of Acanthopanax divaricatus forma flavi-flos Yook by using various column chromatography. The chemical structures of isolates were identified as chiisanogenin, chiisanoside, isochiisanoside and 11-deoxyisochiisanoside on the basis of physico-chemical and spectroscopic date($^1H-NMR,\;^{13}C-NMR$M$, 2D-NMR and FAB-MS). These compounds were isolated for the first time from A. divaricatus forma flavi-flos.

This paper is a system that visually informs the hearing impaired to visit other people by blinking the light of a room using the IoT(Internet of Things) technology. The system combines the power of home-use lights with low-power IoT devices to provide visual notifications. Using a current sensor, this system can track user location and then turns on and off the light in that room only to save energy. The proposed idea can create a society that is equal to everyone and can live more conveniently.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to know the therapeutic effect of herbal-acupuncture on shoulder pain from calcific tendinitis. Methods : The patient who have the calcific tendinitis was treated by herbal-acupunture on 6 acupoints around right shoulder. The shoulder pain and dysfunction was assessed by visual analogue scale(VAS). UCLA Shoulder rating Scale. and SPAI scale. Results : After treatment. all scales showed slightly improvement.. Conclusion : Herbal-acupuncture on shoulder joint was effective in short term study. We need more further study.

The authors observed a patient who referred to the Department of Oral Radiology, due to diffuse skeletal pain, muscular weakness and unknown tumor mass on the buccal gingiva of upper right molar region. The patient was found to have peripheral reparative giant cell granuloma and osteomalacia. After removal of the tumor, the clinical, radiologic, and laboratory findings of the patient was rapidly normalized with remarkable improvement of bone pain. The results were as follows: 1. After removal of the tumor, the patient improved. the clinical findings such as bone pain, trismus. muscular weakness and he could walk. 2. In postoperative x-ray findings at 1 and 2 months intervals, the lamina dura of all dentition and bony trabeculae in upper and lower arches were regenerating and the bone density increased. 3. In periodic recall check, no occurrence of osteomalacia was existed and the laboratory findings of the patient showed gradual improvement.
