삶의 미술, 소통의 확장: 김봉준과 두렁 (Art of Life, Expansion of Dialogue: Kim Bongjun and the Art Collective Dureong)

  • This paper explores the key figure of minjung misul ("the people's art"), Kim Bongjun, and the art collective Dureong in the relationship between 'dialogue' and the dissidents' structural critique of Korea's modernities. During the 1980s' prodemocracy movement, the minjung artists and other dissident intellectuals used the notion of dialogue as metaphor for and allegory of democracy to articulate not only Koreans' experience of modern history, which they saw as "alienating" and "inhumane," but also the discrepancies between Koreans' predicaments and their political aspirations and their working toward the fulfillment of those ideals. Envisioning alternative forms of modernities, Kim Bongjun and other Dureong members paid attention to the fundamental elements of art, which consist of art as a modern institution, as well as the everyday lives of people as the very site of Koreans' modernities. They endeavored to create "art of life," which presumes its being part of people's lives, based on the cultural and spiritual traditions of the agrarian community. They also participated in the national culture movement, the minjung church, and the alternative-life movement to radically envision everyday lives through the indigenous reinterpretation of democratic values. Despite the significant role played by the church mission and its community involvement, its effects on minjung misul have received little attention in the relevant studies. Thus, I consider in particular the minjung church's and the alternative-life movement's confluence of multiple cultural and social constituencies in relation to Kim and the Dureong collective's vision of a new art and community.

Fabrication of Wafer-Scale Anodized Aluminum oxide(AAO)-Based capacitive biosensor

  • Various nanobiosensors have been developed and extensively investigated. For their practical applications, however, the reproducibility and uniformity should be good enough and the mass-production should be possible. To fabricate anodized aluminium oxide (AAO)-based nanobiosesnor on wafer scale, we have designed and constructed a wafer-scale anodizing system. $1{\mu}m$-thick-aluminum is deposited on 4 inch SiO2/Si substrate and then anodized, resulting in uniform nanopores with an average pore diameter of about 65 nm. Furthermore, most AAO sensors constructed on this wafer provide capacitance values of 30 nF ~ 60 nF in PBS, demonstrating their uniformity.

Heuristic-Based Algorithm for Production Planning Considering Allocation Rate Conformance to Prevent Unstable Production Chain

  • This study solved the problem of unstable production chains by considering allocation rate conformance. We proposed two phased algorithm suitable for solving production planning that considers allocation rate conformance; the first phase was heuristic initial solution generation, and the second phase was tabu-search based solution improvement. By using three data sets which have different sizes of data and three different criteria, the results of proposed algorithm were compared with MIP results. The proposed algorithm showed the best production plan in terms of allocation rate conformance, and it was appropriate for other criteria; it solved the problem of unstable production chains by solving concentrated and unfair allocation.

  • 스마트 그리드를 비롯하여 사물에 네트워킹 기능이 요구됨에 따라 IP 주소 고갈 문제가 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 아울러 스마트 오브젝트는 제한된 자원으로 인하여 저전력 소모가 요구된다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 Non-OS 환경에서 수행되는 TCP/IPv6 Stack 을 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 구현한 TCP/IPv6 Stack 은 3 개의 기능 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 아울러 이 모듈은 사용자 인터페이스와 하부 통신 기술에 종속되지 않게 구현하여, 확장성과 유연성에 장점을 가지고 있다. 그리고, 실험을 통해 2.5 Mbps 정도의 성능을 보여주었고 기존의 IPv6 망과의 호환성을 검증하였다.

  • 차량 내부 네트워크(In-Vehicle Network)에 많은 관심이 고조되는 가운데 Time-Triggered 와 Event-Triggered 패러다임의 장점을 모두 갖춘 하이브리드(Hybrid) 프로토콜인 FlexRay 가 최근 들어 많은 자동차 분야 업체들로부터 주목 받으면서 이에 대한 다양한 성능 분석 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 FlexRay 프로토콜의 메시지 전송의 유연성(Flexibility)으로 인해 정확한 성능 분석에 많은 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다양한 길이의 메시지를 고려한 동적 구간 분석 모델을 제안하였고, 이를 바탕으로 잔여 미니 슬롯 확률 분포(Empty Minislot Distribution)를 도출하였으며 FlexRay 메시지 셋(Set)를 이용한 실험을 통하여 특정 길이의 동적 구간에서 미니 슬롯 개수에 따른 잔여 미니 슬롯 발생확률 값의 변화를 확인하였다.

수치적 방법을 이용한 3차원 거친 표면의 마모 해석 (Numerical Wear Analysis of a Three-dimensional Rough Surface)

  • It is essential to predict the amount of wear and surface parameters for a surface where relative motion occurs. In the asperity-based model for wear prediction, only the average contact pressure can be obtained. Hence, the accuracy of wear analysis is poor. In this study, DC-FFT is used to obtain the pressure of each node, and wear analysis is performed by considering the effect of the pressure gradient. The numerical surface generation method is used to create Gaussian, negatively skewed, and positively skewed surfaces for wear analysis. The spatial and height distributions of each surface are analyzed to confirm the effectiveness of the generated surface. Furthermore, wear analysis is performed using DC-FFT and Archard's wear formula. After analysis, it is confirmed that all peaks are removed and only valleys remain on the surface. The RMS roughness and Sk continue to decrease and Ku increases as the cycle progresses. It is observed that the surface parameters are significantly affected by the radius of curvature of the asperity. This analysis method is more accurate than the existing average wear and truncation models because the change in asperity shape during the wear process is reflected in detail.

  • Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), a member of the genus Begomovirus, is responsible for one of the most devastating viral diseases in tomato-growing countries and is becoming a serious problem in many subtropical and tropical countries. The climate in Korea is getting warmer and developing subtropical features in response to global warming. These changes are being accompanied by TYLCV, which is now becoming a large problem in the Korean tomato industry. The most effective way to reduce damage caused by TYLCV is to breed resistant varieties of tomatoes. To accomplish this, it is necessary to establish a simple inoculation technique for the efficient evaluation of resistance to TYLCV. Here, we present the rolling circle amplification (RCA) method, which employs a bacteriophage using phi-29 DNA polymerase for construction of infectious TYLCV clones. The RCA method is simple, does not require sequence information for cloning, and is less expensive and time consuming than conventional PCR based-methods. Furthermore, RCA-based construction of an infectious clone can be very useful to other emerging and unknown geminiviruses in Korea.

전기동력 무인기용 하이브리드 추진시스템 비행시험 (Flight Test of Hybrid Propulsion System for Electrically Powered UAV)

  • 한국항공우주연구원 (이하 항우연)에서 개발중인 중형 전기동력 무인기 EAV2의 추진시스템에 대한 비행시험결과에 대하여 기술 하였다. EAV2는 날개 길이 6.9 m, 무게 18 kg의 저속 장기 체공형 무인기이다. 전기 동력원으로는 태양전지, 연료전지, 배터리의 세 가지를 동시에 사용한다. EAV2는 2012년 6월에 22시간 이상 체공 비행에 성공하였다. 시험 결과, 전기추진 시스템은 비행 중 일어나는 여러 상황에서 필요한 동력을 성공적으로 공급하였으며, 각 동력원들은 설계된 목적에 부합하게 작동되었다.
