A Study on the Architectural facility standards of integrated child care facility (통합보육시설의 시설 및 설비 기준에 관한 연구)

  • This research proposes the importance of physical environment if integrated early childhood education. For a successful integration of children's education, we processed fundamental research on requirements of facility and equipments, looking at related standards and code on handicapped person's convenience facility. Also, this research alms at providing first step to establish evaluation method and quality assurance standards of integrated child care facility, regarding space planning of handicapped children. By examining home and abroad material and analyzing handicapped children's convenience facility standards, this research pursues improving the basis of planning criteria. As present criteria of relevant regulations appears not to handle detailed facility standards, and the handicapped people's facility is for childhood education, it is necessary first to differentiate indispensable equipments from optional one, then categorize them into more specific needs.

The Survey of Housewives' Perception for the Development of Refrigerated Convenience Foods for Koreans (한국형 냉장편의식 개발을 위한 주부들의 인식 조사)

  • To provide basic information for the development of refrigerated convenience foods for Koreans, 492 house-wives residing in Seoul and Kyunggi Province were surveyed concerning satisfaction of buying precooked convenience foods, frequency of using them, preferred Korean dishes, and willingness to buy the convenience foods if they are developed. Statistical data analysis was completed using SAS package program. The satisfaction mean score of the marketed precooked convenience foods was 2.73 out of 5 and the housewives were least satisfied with feed additives and sanitation factors. The factors affecting satisfaction in purchasing were sanitation, taste, variety of type, nutrition, price, and food additives for side-dishes sold refrigerated or at room temperature, and taste, sanitation, variety of type, price, nutrition, and food additives for frozen prepared foods in order respectively. The frequency of using the precooked convenience foods was generally low but that of using the pickled dishes, Jokbal Soondae, and frozen prepared foods was relatively high. The answer of 'the thought that meals should be prepared in households' was the primary reason for avoiding using the precooked convenience foods and 'no time to cook' was the most frequent answer among the reasons for using them. Currently, the precooked convenience foods were used for snacks mainly, but the usages to be expected to increase were for lunchbox, main dishes, snacks, side dishes, special occasions foods, and leisure foods in order. Based on preference and buying priority, the dishes needed to be developed as refrigerated convenience foods among Korean dishes were identified. The result showed that 'preference' was not consistent with buying priority and the housewives perceived the factor of 'convenience' more importantly than 'preference' in purchasing the convenience foods.

The Influence of SNS Characteristics on Tourist Attractions Preference : Focus on China

  • Purpose - The rapid spread of SNS and increase of SNS users have heralded great changes in the tourism industry. Therefore, this study focused on how SNS characteristics- usefulness, convenience, interactivity, and intimacy - influence diffusivity, reliability and, consequently, user's preference for tourist attractions. Research design, data, and methodology - This study is designed not only to collect data with a questionnaire survey but also to test hypotheses with SEM by SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Results - Usefulness, interactivity, and intimacy positively affect diffusivity, whereas convenience does not positively affect diffusivity. In addition, intimacy has a negative influence on reliability. However, diffusivity and reliability have positive impacts on the preference for tourist places. Conclusions - Certain characteristics of SNS facilitates the spreading of SNS tourist information. Usability and interactivity have positive impacts on the reliance of tourist information. Better communication can enhance the reliance of travel information. The influence of spreading tourist information has a positive influence on its reliance. Extension and reliance can have positive effects on the preference for tourist attractions.

  • Recently Micro-blog service is used quickly in our life with dissemination of Smart-phone. This study performed based on a view that there is a difference of user's intention to reuse Web-blogs & Micro-blogs. This study also based on the existing motive theory for using which considers five factors-information, entertainment, interaction, personalization, and convenience. The AMOS structure equation used for the analysis of users' revisit intention. The results of the study shows that Micro-blogs are influenced by entertainment, personalization, and convenience. On the other hand, Web-blogs are influenced by entertainment, and personalization.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the consumer's purchasing behavior and its factors when a convenience store brand is marketing new PB products online. For this study, we surveyed 2030 millennials about the purchase behavior of convenience store PB products and the paths to encounter PB products. As a result, consumers who purchase convenience store PB products were exposed to the product through SNS or YouTube, and they tended to join the trend by posting on SNS after purchase. In this study, we want to examine the consumption trends of millennials that have this type of consumption and the concept of online marketing that affects them. It is hoped that future consumer purchases will continue to be valuable consumption rather than relying on trends.

Relationships Between Ecological and Utilizational Effectiveness of Green Roof Sites (옥상녹화지의 생태적 효과와 이용 효과의 상관성)

  • Roof greening recently emerged to be an important issue of environmental policies in a city. To cover roofs of buildings with green vegetation gives chances not only to improve urban environmental function but also provides the opportunities of environmental learning and convenience for users in the building. This study aimed to give directions for roof greening plan to designers by acknowledging the relationships between ecological and utilizational effectiveness. 10 sites and 15 variables were adopted to measure the relationships. As a result, no positive correlations was found between them. One of the results in correlation analysis among variables, however, showed that the roof gardens have high utilizational effectiveness only when a green roof was made by focusing on ecological functions in addition to the concepts that will guarantee user's convenience such as accessibility, entrance and exit, facilities for convenience and learning. The results implies that a green roof has to be designed considering multi-functional effects. Correlation between species of vegetation and the number of daily users, average staying hours, and attending level for environment educational programs were not significant. These findings imply that when a green roof has to be take high utilizational effectiveness, both plentiful vegetation species and design concepts for users' convenience are should be considered.

Effects of the Flow of an Internet Shopping Mall upon Revisit Intention and Purchase Intention

  • Purpose - The study aims to investigate empirically the effects of the flow of an Internet shopping mall upon consumers' revisit intention and purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology - The subjects comprised customers of Internet shopping malls. SPSS 19.0 for Windows was used to verify the models and hypotheses. Frequency, factors, reliability, and regression analysis were used. Results - This study classified flow behavior factors of Internet shopping malls into four categories-skills, convenience, design, and mutual reaction-to investigate their influence on flow. Skills and convenience had a greater influence than mutual reaction and design. The flow was most influenced by convenience, followed by skills. Conclusions - First, the subjects comprised those who had made purchases at least once at an Internet shopping mall. Second, the study applied the common flow attributes of past researchers to the Internet shopping mall environment, to gauge customers' e-commerce involvement. Third, skill, convenience, and shopping mall display design affirmatively influenced the computer-mediated environment from the Internet marketing control implications perspective regarding the contents of the marketer's website.

Readability of the Product Labelling Information of Over-The-Counter Pharmaceuticals in Convenience Store (약국 외에서 판매되는 안전상비의약품 설명서의 난이도 평가)

  • Background: Since November 2012, some of over-the-counter (OTC) medications have been sold in convenience store without pharmacist' s supervision. We purposed to examine if the product labels of OTCs provide sufficient information that is appropriate for consumers who may have low health literacy. Methods: We compared the difficulty of words that are utilized in pharmaceutical product labels of interest (intervention) with those in the $6^{th}$ grade textbook (control). Pharmaceutical products of interest were comprised of 13 OTCs which have been sold currently in convenience stores. We grouped words into the 4 levels of difficulty based on the Korean Vocabulary Classification for Education, and statistically tested words frequency in each level between OTCs and control. Results: The 13 OTC labels included lay language (easier or equal to language used in primary school) about 10% less; professional language about 10% more (p < 0.001 in all). Labels for analgesics had the longest and most difficult information, followed by common cold preparations, muscle pain relievers as plaster or cataplasma and digestives. Conclusion: The 13 OTC labels might fail to provide appropriate information for safety use by consumers in terms of the difficulty level of words. The improvement of labels of OTC medications and consumer education strategies are called for safety use of OTC medications sold in convenience stores.

A Qualitative Study on Needs of Convenience Meal from the Low-income Female Elderly (질적연구방법론을 이용한 여성노인의 식품선택 속성 및 제공 식사(편이식) 요구도 조사)

  • This study aimed to investigate the perception, consumption, and acceptability of convenience mealsin low-income female elderly attending a lunch program at a community well fare center. Using in-depth interviews, qualitative data were collected 11 elderly females ($62.5{\pm}11.2y$) living in Seoul. Participants tried to eat various foods in small-portionsat home, although they ate out what they were offered. Elderly females preferred lunch box-type meals containing a bowl of rice served with toppings, gruel, or Bibimbop due to the growing unavailability of cooking or preparing a meal. Side-dish type convenience mealswere also preferred among elderly females since boiled rice can be easily prepared according to individual preferences. In addition, participants preferred healthy foods. Convenience meal planning and production, appropriate kinds of foods, cooking methods, menus, and packaging should be selected based on the elderly's functional atrophy in chewing, swallowing, digestion, and metabolic diseases. Furthermore, food preferences and comfort foods among the elderlyneed to be identified and characterized. Therefore, more information, including bite size, cutting size, and food texture, should be provided to understand and develop convenience meals for the elderly.

  • In this practical case study I studied the launching process of Samgak gimbab(the triangle type of rice), which is one if the best selling products to the young generation convenience store these days. And also explained how to down the cost of samgak gimbab to the level of customer's satisfaction. This case is related to 'S' company's strategy. I studied also the generalization of marketing policy especially product development in th convenience store.
