Antecedents and Consequence of Key Account Management Success: a Review, Framework and Research Agenda

  • This paper traces the issue of key account management success which has regarded as a pressing concern of many companies' sales efforts at the organizational business-to-business context. Based on the extensive review of extant literatures, we introduced a theoretical framework that covers the antecedents and consequence of key account management success. We theorized the conditions under which organizational and relational factors influence the success of key account management approach. We endeavor to develop research propositions for each construct and provide necessary suggestions to isolate a platform for future empirical research. Beyond this span, an improved understanding from this framework will help developing policies for successful key account management approach.

민간투자사업 성과평가 모델 개발 및 적용 - 도로 부문 사업을 중심으로 - (Performance Evaluation Model for Public-Private Partnership Projects - with Reference to BTO (Build-Transfer-Operate) Road Projects -)

  • 본 논문은 민간투자사업의 특수성을 반영한 성과평가 모델 개발을 목적으로 한다. 성과평가 모델 개발을 위해 첫째, 문헌연구를 통하여 민간투자사업 주요 관점과 관점별 성공항목을 정의하고, AHP 설문조사를 통하여 가중치를 산정하였다. 둘째, 민간투자사업 성과에 영향을 미치는 핵심 성과요인을 도출하고, 이를 평가할 수 있는 평가항목을 제안하였다. 셋째, 관점별 성공항목과 평가항목을 매칭함으로써 민간투자사업 성과평가 모델을 구축하였다. 성과평가 모델 개발과 적용을 통해 민간투자사업 이해관계자 사이의 첨예한 관점의 차이가 존재함을 파악할 수 있었다. 이는 다양한 이해관계자의 관점을 균형있게 반영한 민간투자사업의 종합적인 평가의 필요성을 보여준다. 본 연구에서 제시한 성과평가 모델의 평가 결과와 기존의 건설공사 사후평가 결과를 비교해보면, 본 연구의 평가 점수가 이용자 만족도 조사 결과와 유사하다. 건설공사 사후평가에 비해 본 연구의 평가모델은 다양한 이해관계자의 만족도 및 관점을 반영하였기 때문으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서 개발한 성과지표의 결과를 통해 다양한 관점을 고려한 민간투자사업의 성과를 측정할 수 있으며, 어떠한 성공요인 및 평가항목이 프로젝트 성공에 영향을 미치는지 파악할 수 있다. 또한, 본 모델의 프로세스를 기반으로 주요관점 및 성공항목의 가중치 변화와 평가항목의 가감을 통해 도로 시설물을 제외한 민간투자사업 프로젝트에도 적용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

균형성과표(BSC)를 활용한 탄약 비군사화 시설의 핵심성과지표 개발 (Development of Key Performance Indicators in Ammunition Demilitarization Facility Using the Balanced Score Card)

  • Ammunition Demilitarization facility (ADF) should be set up the feasible goals and continue to operate, taking into account non-profit characteristics. However, due to the lack of performance measurement methods in ADF, which are essential to national policy at a significant cost each year, the reliability of the evaluation results can be insufficient. In this paper, the Balanced Score Card (BSC) method was applied that could be evaluated to reflect the financial and non-financial features. The relevant literature research and army regulations reflected the results of various interviews of the expert group. The extraction of success performance area in ADF was confirmed using the BSC method and the Decision Variable (DV) candidate was created to use regression for selecting the DV. Additionally, the key performance indicator was presented by verification the feasibility of content by conducting the survey of experts. The implications of this paper are as follows. First, the proposed BSC model was found to be suitable for practical use in ADF reflecting the non-profit characteristics. Second, accurate evaluation of ADF can contribute to long-term development of ADF. Finally, it can be applied to the management process of the other military sector, so it can be expected to play a role in providing basic data and spreading it to other areas.

원자로시설의 경년열화 종합관리에 관한 규정개발 방향 (Development of Regulation on the Integrated Materials Aging Management for Nuclear Facilities)

  • The renewed global interest in nuclear power has arisen from the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to provide sufficient electricity for a growing global population. Many countries with nuclear power plants (NPPs) are still implementing license extensions of 10~20 years, and even consideration is being given to the concept of life-beyond-60, a further period of license extension from 60 to 80 years. To solve the materials aging problem is integral to its success. A foundation for effective aging management of nuclear power plants is that aging is properly taken into account at each stage of a plant's lifetime, i.e. in design, manufacture, construction and operation including long term operation and decommissioning. To evaluate the plant aging phenomena, a lot of background information such as materials and environment of the parts of the reactor and plant systems is needed by the experts. Information on degradation mechanisms is also used. In this paper, a regulation on the integrated materials aging management for nuclear facilities is proposed. The proposed regulation identifies key elements of effective aging management for nuclear power plants and provides the requirements on aging management for nuclear facilities throughout all stages of the lifetime of the plant.

ICT환경과 경영성과의 관계분석 -조직참여도의 매개효과를 중심으로- (The Effect of ICT Environment on Management Performance -Focusing the Mediating Effects of Organizational Participation-)

  • 본 연구는 "ICT환경과 경영성과의 관계분석"에 대하여 연구하였다. 한국의 주력산업의 경우 대기업들은 이미 상당한 수준의 스마트공장을 구축, 운영함으로써 세계시장을 선도하고 있으나 전체 기업의 95%를 차지하는 중소 중견기업은 자체적으로 스마트공장을 구축하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 스마트공장 구축 정부지원 기업수는 총 4,891개 기업(구축완료는 3,984개 기업, 구축중인 기업은 907개)으로 구축가능 공장수의 2.9%, 미 구축기업은 97.1%(166,344개 기업)로 매우 미약한 실정으로 개선해야 할 커다란 문제점 있다. 연구결과, 급변하는 환경에 대응하여, 도전적이고 지속적인 경쟁력을 갖추기 위한 기업혁신의 일부분인 스마트공장의 성공적인 구축을 위해서는 경영자의 의지가 가장 중요하다는 이론적 체계를 제시하는 본 연구의 첫 번째 연구목적이 달성 되었다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 스마트공장을 구축하기 위한 자금조달은 자체자금 충당뿐만 아니라 정부의 자금지원이 스마트공장 구축의 핵심요인임을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 스마트구축에 필요한 기술은 자체기술 이외에 정부의 기술지원, 외부기술 컨설팅 지원이 매우 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 내부 조직원의 조직참여도는 협조적이고 원활한 긍정적인 참여도 또한 성공요인임을 알 수 있었다. 후속 연구로는 기업의 운영 현황을 파악하고 문제점을 도출하여 4M1E 기법으로 원인을 분석하고 대책을 수립하여 실시해본 결과, 개선전후를 비교하고 개선된 사항을 표준화하고, 보다 깊이 있는 연구가 필요하다. 논연구는 기업의 ICT환경과 경영성과의 관계분석을 통하여 스마트공장을 구축을 위한 기초자료를 제공 하였다는데 그 의미가 있다.

The Contribution of Innovation Activity to the Output Growth of Emerging Economies: The Case of Kazakhstan

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the state of the energy industry and to determine the efficiency of its functioning on the basis of energy conservation principle and application of innovative technologies aimed at improving the ecological modernisation of agricultural sectors of Kazakhstan. The research methodology is based on an integrated approach of financial and economic evaluation of the effectiveness of the investment project, based on calculation of elasticity, total costs and profitability, as well as on comparative, graphical and system analysis. The current stage is characterised by widely spread restructuring processes of electric power industry in many countries through introduction of new technical installations of energy facilities and increased government regulation in order to enhance the competitive advantage of electricity market. Electric power industry features a considerable value of creating areas. For example, by providing scientific and technical progress, it crucially affects not only the development but also the territorial organisation of productive forces, first of all the industry. In modern life, more than 90% of electricity and heat is obtained by Kazakhstan's economy by consuming non-renewable energy resources: different types of coal, oil shale, oil, natural gas and peat. Therefore, it is significant to ensure energy security, as the country faces a rapid fall back to mono-gas structure of fuel and energy balance. However, energy resources in Kazakhstan are spread very unevenly. Its main supplies are concentrated in northern and central parts of the republic, and the majority of consumers of electrical power live in the southern and western areas of the country. However, energy plays an important role in the economy of industrial production and to a large extent determines the level of competitive advantage, which is a promising condition for implementation of energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies. In these circumstances, issues of modernisation and reforms of this sector in Kazakhstan gain more and more importance, which can be seen in the example of economically sustainable solutions of a large local monopoly company, significant savings in capital investment and efficiency of implementation of an investment project. A major disadvantage of development of electricity distribution companies is the prevalence of very high moral and physical amortisation of equipment, reaching almost 70-80%, which significantly increases the operating costs. For example, while an investment of 12 billion tenge was planned in 2009 in this branch, in 2012 it is planned to invest more than 17 billion. Obviously, despite the absolute increase, the rate of investment is still quite low, as the total demand in this area is at least more than 250 billion tenge. In addition, industrial infrastructure, including the objects of Kazakhstan electric power industry, have a tangible adverse impact on the environment. Thus, since there is a large number of various power projects that are sources of electromagnetic radiation, the environment is deteriorated. Hence, there is a need to optimise the efficiency of the organisation and management of production activities of energy companies, to create and implement new technologies, to ensure safe production and provide solutions to various environmental aspects. These are key strategic factors to ensure success of the modern energy sector of Kazakhstan. The contribution of authors in developing the scope of this subject is explained by the fact that there was not enough research in the energy sector, especially in the view of ecological modernisation. This work differs from similar works in Kazakhstan in the way that the proposed method of investment project calculation takes into account the time factor, which compares the current and future value of profit from the implementation of innovative equipment that helps to bring it to actual practise. The feasibility of writing this article lies in the need of forming a public policy in the industrial sector, including optimising the structure of energy disbursing rate, which complies with the terms of future modernised development of the domestic energy sector.
