H-mode or X-mode predominates in marine engines according to the number of cylinder. Generally, H-mode noticeably happen in the engine below 7-cylinder and X-mode remarkably happen above 8-cylinder in the engine operating range. Until now, FEA (Finite Element Analysis) of 3D engine model has been mainly used to estimate the engine vibration but it is very time consuming for simulation and difficult to model simplification. Furthermore, the accuracy of simulation shows a marked difference according to modeling method. Therefore it is very difficult to have contentable result from FEA for beginners and laymen. In this paper, the estimation method based on a test has been suggested to solve the difficulty.

Recently, as a result of the application of large and multi-blade propellers with high efficiency for large vessels, the vertical bending stiffness of propulsion shafting system tends to be declined. For some specific vessels, the shaft arrangement leads to the forward stern tube bearing to be omitted, decreasing vertical bending stiffness. In this respect, decreased vertical bending stiffness causes the problem which is the blade order resonance frequency to be placed within the operational range of propulsion shafting system. To verify whirling vibration, the measurement should be carried out covering the range of MCR, however, the range is un-measurable. To resolve the measurement issue, this study shows the measuring method and the estimating method of whiling vibration by using resonance frequency of sub harmonic.

As as result of development of new voyage route, especially Baltic seas, it is necessary for the design to meet ice class requirements as vessels continue to increase in this route. For this reason Finish-Swedish ice class has recently amended a regulation on the propulsion shafting design and engine output required for the ships which will be navigable in the brash ice channels broken by ice-breakers in Baltic seas. Therefore, this study shows the appropriate calculation methods for the design of engine output and propulsion shafting system based on ice class requirements.

In the speed sensorless control of the induction motor, the machine parameters (especially the secondary resistance R2) have a strong influence to the speed estimation. It is known that the simultaneous estimation of the speed and R2 is impossible in the slip frequency type vector control, because the secondary flux is constant. But the secondary flux is not always constant in the speed transient state. In this paper the R2 estimation in the transient state without adding any additional signal to the stator current is proposed. This algorithm uses the least mean square algorithm and the adaptive algorithm, and it is possible to estimate the R2 exactly. This algorithm is verified by the digital simulations and the experiments.

인터넷을 통한 정보화의 영향으로 교육 방법에도 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 교수자와 학습자간 오프라인으로 이루어졌던 교육이 온라인상에서 이루어지게 되었고, 양질의 원격 교육을 실천하려는 노력 과정에서 LMS(Learning Management System)는 많은 발전을 하게 되었다[3]. 하지만 잘 개발된 LMS 라 할 지라도 온라인 교육에서는 오프라인 교육과 같이 교수자와 학습자의 직접적인 커뮤니케이션을 통한 상호 의견 수렴이 어렵다[4]. 따라서 본 논문에서는 LMS 기능에 확장성과 이식성을 갖는 설문 시스템을 추가 함으로써 교수자와 학습자간의 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 지원하고자 한다. 또한 강의 점검, 교수전략 수립, 연구, 정책수립 및 사업추진을 위한 각종 조사에 활용하고자 한다. 본 논문의 설문 조사 시스템은 오픈 소스로 전국 대학 및 교육기관을 대상으로 무상 배포 중이며 그 활용을 검증 중이다[5].

Objectives The purpose of this study is to report a Tic-disorder child with allergic rhinitis. Methods The child was suffered from Tic-disorder and the allergic rhinitis, and there were two symptoms of all can last more than a year. sometimes the sniffling, as a sin of allergic rhinitis had caused tic disorder. I thought It was needed to control of both of the symptoms at the same time, so I applied the herbal medicine, CheongKanSoYoSan, for Tic-disorder, and carried out the Aromatherapy and the Laser acupuncture for allergic rhinitis. Results After this treatments, the symptoms of Tic-disorder were disappeared according to improving the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Conclusions It was suggested that we tried to take care of the patient with Tic-disorder, had to considered the other symptoms that were capable of causing.

The purpose of this study is considering about the fashion of Korean National Flag in the point of view of sociology and philosophy. The contents are the philosophy of the Korean National Flag-'Taegk', the Great Absolute in Korean philosophy, and the historical fashion trend of The Korean National Flag. The results of characteristics of The Korean National Flag are summarized as following; 1. The Korean National Flag contains 'Taegk' philosophy, the source of the dual principle 'Yn' and 'Yang'. 2. The design of 'Taegk' has been showed in Korean society traditionally. 3. The fashion of Korean National Flag dramatically is changed after Korea/Japan World cup 2002. 4. The Korean National Flag is the strong symbol of Korean society, affirmatively, same as the American National Flag.

Taxonomic notes on the genus Elaphropoda Lieftinck, 1966 (Hymenoptera: Apidae) from Vietnam are presented. Two species of the genus are reported: Elaphropoda percarinata (Cockerell, 1930) was first recorded from Vietnam based on specimens collected from Ha Tinh province in 1998, and is reconfirmed with a specimens collected from Bac Kan province in the Northeastern part of the country in this study, and Elaphropoda khasiana (Schulz, 1906) is recorded from Vietnam for the first time. Redescriptions of the male of E. percarinata and the female of E. khasiana are given with illustrations.

The purpose of this study is considering about drag queen's costume in the point of view of anthropology and psychoanalysis. The contents are the meaning of drag queen by theoretical research and the characteristics of drag queen's costume. The results of characteristics of drag queen's costume are summerized as following. 1. Sexual originality is related with homosexuality. Costume express character of gay not as a transsexual or cross-dresser. 2. Imitation is related with identification of drag queen and famous star like actress, pop singer and historical heroine. 3. Amusement is related with drag queen's life style. There are two kinds of character in amusement. One is humour. Another is an exaggeration. 4. Commercialism is related with mass-media culture. Drag queen's costume have an influence with movie, advertisement and modern fashion.

In this paper, the effects of low temperature plasma (LTP) treatment on the dyeing properties of the wool fiber were studied. The wool fibers were treated with oxygen plasma and three types of dye that commonly used for wool dyeing, namely: (i) acid dye, (ii) chrome dye and (iii) reactive dye, were used in the dyeing process. For acid dyeing, the dyeing rate of the LTP-treated wool fiber was greatly increased but the final dyeing exhaustion equilibrium did not show any significant change. For chrome dyeing, the dyeing rate of the LTP-treated wool fiber was also increased but the final dyeing exhaustion equilibrium was only increased to a small extent. In addition, the rate of afterchroming process was similar to the chrome dyeing process. For the reactive dyeing, the dyeing rate of the LTP-treated wool fiber was greatly increased and also the final dyeing exhaustion equilibrium was increased significantly. As a result, it could conclude that the LTP treatment could improve the dyeing behavior of wool fiber in different dyeing systems.
