  • 지난 2002년 7월 한국산업기술표준원의 산업표준심의를 거쳐 2001년 7월 제정된 한국전자책문서표준 EBKS(Electronic Book of Korea Standard) 1.0은 한국전자책 표준문서형 정의, 규격번호 KS X 6100으로 제정되었다. 따라서 KS X 6100을 사용하는 전자책 문서들은 표준의 목적과 명세에 대한 부합 여부를 판별하기 위한 적합성 검사 및 이에 기반한 인증 절차가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 적합성 검사의 기준이 되는 적합성 조항(Conformance Clause)의 정의와 이에 따른 적합성 검사 도구(Conformance Test Tool)를 제안하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서 정의된 조항들을 통하여 전자책 저작자들은 전자책표준의 목적과 명세에 보다 적합한 전자책문서들을 제작할 수 있으며, 서비스 제공자들은 적합성 검사 도구를 통한 자동화본 적합성 검사 도구를 사용하여 효율적인 적합성 검사가 가능하다.

  • Due to the construction technique (or the construction culture) growth in and out of Korea, newly-developed insulation have been continuously released. Furthermore, all legislation and regulation that World follows are gradually becoming unified. (e.g. FTA(Free Trade Agreement) with the United States was contracted, and inevitable FTA contraction with EU and China). In addition, insulation type, with the purpose are becoming unified. Accordingly, KS F 2803 legislated in 1966 about the Domestic Insulation Standard including traditionally used insulation(Rockwool, Fiberglass, Polystrene, Polyurethan, Perlite) has to be amended by considering International Standard and the alternatives. This reference is going to make description for solution of contradiction.

An Experimental Study on Manufacturing Permeable Concrete Blocks from Recycled Industrial By-Products of Oyster Shell and Blast Furnace Slag (굴패각 및 고로슬래그 산업부산물을 재활용한 콘크리트 투수블록의 제조에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • In this paper, bending strength and permeability tests were conducted on concrete permeable blocks manufactured by recycling industrial by-products of oyster shell and blast furnace slag to measure and compare bending strength and permeability coefficient, and present experimental research results. To this end, a total of 54 specimens with a size of 200x200x60mm for surface layer and base layer were manufactured, and bending strength and permeability test were carried ourt accoridng to KS F 4419. Eighteen types of mixing designs were implemented by varying the mixing and replacement rates of oyster shells and blast furnace slag. As a result of the experiment, the higher the mixing ratio of oyster shell, the lower the bending strength and the permeability coefficient. Thereafter, a total of three permeable blocks with dimensions of 200x200x60mm were manufactured and subjected to bending strength and permeability tests according to KS F 4419. As a result of the test, the bending strength satisfies the standard of KS F 4419, and the permeability coefficient is 12 times higher than the standard of KS F 4419. It seems that the proper mixing of oyster shells and blast furnace slag increases the amount of air, and further research on durability and economic feasibility of materials used to manufacture permeable blocks is required.

Evaluation of Nodularity in Ductile Cast Iron by Image Analysis (화상분석에 의한 구상흑연주철의 구상화율 판정)

  • In determining properties of ductile cast iron, it is well known that nodularity plays a significant role. Therefore, the national and/or international standards for ductile cast iron such as KS, ISO, ASTM and JIS have specified some methods for evaluating it. However, most of standards have not recommended the methods using image analyzer which is known as an objective analyzing tool for evaluating microstructure. In this study, a reliable method for evaluating nodularity by image analyzing method was proposed, and the result was compared with that from the common counting method proposed in KS D 4302-1999. It was found that there was a reasonable relationship in nodularities measured by these two methods.

  • As the deposits of natural sands have slowly been depleted, it has resulted in an increase in manufactured fine aggregate (MFA). Standard specifications for fine aggregate for concrete contained in KS F 2558 permit a maximum of 7 percent finer than the No. 200 sieve (75${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$). Since the production process for MFA normally generates 10 to 20 percent of micro fines-which is defined as aggregates passing the No. 200 sieve (75${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$)-more than permitted by specifications, Excess fines must be removed by screening and/or washing operations. The amount of by-products will continue to grow as production increases with environmental discharge restrictions. This fundamental study focuses on experimental research for the adequacy of use of micro fines included in crushed aggregate using methylene blue test. Total of 63 types of sands from seven different rocks were tested. Based on the test results, the methylene blue test was turned out to be a good indicator of the quality of micro fines for concrete and a supplementary article and an amendment of the KS standard were recommended.

  • The wind turbine, Europe and the United States are different with the standards process each other when the manufacturing company which in order to demand the standards process to a construction in the multi country with interested parties of the corresponding nation to, always the re-agreement is difficult. Korean wind turbine also detail there is not a standard, when it produces and establishes of wind turbine, the problem point occurs. It is like that investigation of international standards system it leads and when it prepares the Acoustic noise measurement of the Wind Turbine Systems of Korea, it prepares the base for industrial development wind turbine of Korea.

  • In this study, we suggest a standardization of the logistics terminologies in Korean Standard to improve its consistency. To support this work, some principles for terminology selection and corrections are studied based on the guideline in international standard. The revised terminologies are summarized in Appendix for 20 logistics-related Korean Standards.

  • This paper has predicted that pallet will be increased according to the economy scale. However, the KS pallet is being used 41.8% and unit load pallet(T11) is only used 16.5%. Comparing to other country, Korea's using rate of standard pallet is a comparatively low. This paper suggests that policy and program of expansion of standard pallet should be needed. Moreover the concrete program have to be made like advanced countries.
