  • A test based on score statistic is derived for detecting homoscedasticity of errors in unbalanced random effects linear model. A small simulation study is performed to investigate the finite sample behaviour of the test statistic which is known to have an asymptotic chi-square distribution under the null hypothesis.

  • A new statistic {{{{ {d }`_{2 } ^{s } }}}} is introduced for constructing co ntrol limits. It is easier and more convienient than d2 We will show the characteristic of {{{{ {d }`_{2 } ^{s } }}}} and evaluate {{{{ {d }`_{2 } ^{s } }}}} through average run length(ARL).

  • Geography in America over the last 30 years has witnessed much positive growth: there are several reasons for this. firstly, Geographers are actively promoting their discipline to public school students, undergraduates and the general public. Secondly, Geographers in America have strengthened the discipline through a gradual, but quite noticeable shift in emphasis. Geographers have progressively emphasized three areas of contemporary public importance: (omitted)

  • In 1992. Boullion obtained the method of the calculus of the moments of discrete probability distributions using differential operator, and he published the method of calculus of the moments. The purpose of this paper is to introduce an idea that this method can be applied to calculate the moments of continuous probability distributions.

  • A measure that quantifies the amount of slope retatability for the second degree Scheffe polynomial model for mixture experiments is proposed and used to compare the several mixture designs which met the symmetric momemts conditions in this article.

  • Large sample properties of Life-Table estimator are discussed for interval censored bivariate survival data. We restrict out attention to the situation where response times within pairs are not distinguishable and the univariate survival distribution is the same for any individual within any pair.
