  • The purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the relationship among physical education professor-trust, attitude in physical education and self-management which pre-service elementary school teachers perceive. For this purpose, data from 328 students in universities of education located nationwide were collected and analyzed. Descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis were conducted on the collected data by using IBM SPSS 23.0 statistical program, and confirmatory factor analysis and verification on structural equation model were conducted by using IBM AMOS 23.0 program. Through this research process, following conclusions were obtained; First, prospective elementary school teachers' confidence in physical education has a significant effect on attitude in physical education. Second, prospective elementary school teachers' attitude in physical education has a significant effect on class satisfaction. Third, prospective elementary school teachers' confidence in physical education has a significant effect on class satisfaction.

  • Many engineering professors are forced to execute ABEEK activities. Engineering professors are evaluated by their educational, research and service activities, but are mainly by their research papers published in professional journals. The gap between the duties and the evaluation criteria exists among engineering professors. This paper deals with the possible ways of including the ABEEK activities in the engineering professor evaluation system. Among the five ways suggested for a simple survey, tenured professors prefer to reduce the lecture time but junior professors prefer to reduce the research burden for the benefit from executing ABEEK activities. Based on logical reasoning and the preference among the surveyed professors, ABEEK related activities may be included in the educational part for the professor evaluation system before the ABEEK system is matured. However, ABEEK related activities have to be converted to the duties of engineering professors in the long run as in the US universities.

  • Straw and other fibrous by-products are inevitably produced during cereal production and have traditionally been used for many purposes including feeding animals . The potential of these by -products as a feed resource for ruminants is being increasingly appreciated (FAO , 1977). In the future, the amount of cereals fed to farm animals will have to be reduced and livestock will have to rely more on by-products such as straw. The method of animal production can be classified by the major portion of feed. One is animal forage and the other is grains. In Korea , livestock farmers normally depend more than 70% upon grains for the feed stuff. The livestock production system causes the unbalance of nutrition, and results in low productivity of animal farming. In many livestock farms in Korea the rice straw is using as a major forage and the amount of rice straw fed takes 46% of total amount of required forages. Especially the rice straw is mainly using during spring, fall and winte season. However, there are still lots of problems to solved such as harvesting cost, transportation between rice farm ad livestock farm, and quality loss during drying and storage . Therefore the mechanization of straw harvesting is urgently needed to use the renewable agricultural by-products and to overcome the shortage of animal forage. The objective of this research is to develope a straw harvester with new concept which can solve the problems of the quality loss and the labor cost during drying in a field, collecting , and storage. The developed straw harvester is self-propelled machine rebuilt by rice combine and equipped with the pick-up device, the macerater and the mat-forming device.

  • This study of interfirm relationships is tested on a sample of Korean electric and electronic parts industry. The hypotheses present that (1) buyer's power affects administrative structure and relational norms, (2) communications are affected prior three antecedents, and (3) buyer's power, administrative structure, relational norms, and communication affects relational performances. The results indicate that buyer's power plays important roles in administrative structure and relational norms but communications are not explained three constructs. The result also indicates performances are partially affected by antecedents.
