This study was done for the purpose of graphing rather improved technique through reviewing conventional technigue of the thoracic vertebrae lateral projection. The roentgenographic images which were taken at Korea University Hospital from January, 1976 to December, 1977 were observed for this study. The results were as belows: 1. The quality of diagnostic radiograph turned out that good is 21.4%, intermediate is 40.7% and poor is 37.9%. 2. The poor quality of images the caused by overlapping shadows(59.6%), incorrect position of patients(15.0%), motion of patients(7.5%), over-exposure(8.3%), under-exposure(6.7%) and processing faults(2.9%). The images were taken by following four methods of experiments were campared and researched in order to improve the problems of conventional technigues which were came out on the poor radiographes. 1. (Method 1) Low mA-long time exposure during normal respiration 2. (Method 2) Short time exposure during normal respiration 3. (Method 3) After deep inspiration, short time exposure during expiration 4. (Method 4) After full expiration, short time exposure during inspiration. In a result of the above experiments, it was found that the improved image could be got from the method 3.

[ $Mg_2SiO_4(La.Ho)$ ] thermoluminescent phosphor was made by putting the $MgCl_2.6H_2O$ and $SiO_2$ and by doping the rare earth element of $LaCl_3.7H_2O$ and $HoCl_3$. The heating rate is $10^{\circ}C/sec$ for the thermoluminescent phosphor. Two peaks are found in the measured $Mg_2SiO_4(La.Ho)$ Tl glow curve at $152^{\circ}C$ and $205^{\circ}C$ when the heating rate is $5^{\circ}C/sec$. The peak value at $205^{\circ}C$ is the most sensitive to X-ray among the glow peaks. The activation energy of the main peak has been estimated by the peak shape method. The estimated activation energies for Ho and La are $0.52{\sim}1.77\;eV$ respectively.

We quantified the relationship of fluorescence depends upon the thickness of each absorber by the result of experiment which was practiced to know the relationship of x-ray absorption and photographic effect in the range of diganostic energy about water, acrylic resin, aluminium and copper. There was no great difference in the photographic effect between water and acryl because the absorption degree of the two was mostly equal. But in case of aluminium and copper, it was opposite from the prior. Therefore when we considered the photographic effect in the range of diagnostic energy, it was thought that water and acryl were proper as a absorbers, but not only copper but also aluminium was improper as a absorber.

In an attempt to provide optimum kVp for four spot films of stomach examinations, we measured experimentally film density and scatter radiation with field size. And to investigate the effect of concentrations in barium sulphite and kVp in spot films of stomach fluoroscopy were carried out and the following results were obained. 1. The entire density of film by field size has the sharpest increase from $10cm^2$ to $100cm^2$, and relatively flattened curve beyond $500cm^2$ in field size. 2. The quantity of scatter radiation reaching an X-ray film depends upon field size: the larger the fields, the more scatter radiation. 3. It is necessary for increasing 3 to 5kVp as for the absence of barium sulphite and 5 to 7 kVp in the case of 20 per cent and 25 per cent in barium sulphite concentrations to produce uniform density in the four spot films for stomach fluoroscopy.

생활용품을 포함한 제조산업에 관계되는 환경오염 문제가 심각한 국내문제로 제시되어 왔으며, 제혁산업은 심각한 환경문제를 야기 시키고 있다. 본 연구는 Bio-tech 피혁가공제로 Lupin LE-10 을 개발하여 탈모공정에 적용하고자 하며, 화학적 탈모방법과 비교를 통하여 Lupin LE-10 탈모 방법의 여러 가지 장점의 검토를 하고자 한다. 따라서, 본 연구는 개발한 Bio-tech 피혁가공제를 효해공정과 수적공정에 적용하여 Lupin LE-10의 유용성과 제혁산업으로부터 야기하는 환경문제의 개선, 가죽의 수율과 물성증진에 기여하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and confirm the correlation between self-concept and the degree of satisfaction on field practice of EMT students. Data were collected from 66 junior college EMT students by quertionaire from August 12 to 13, 1997. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, t-test, F-test, and Person correlation using SAS program. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Self-concept level revealed to be high as 3.784 of a total score 5.0. 2. Satisfaction level revealed to be low as 2.970 of a total score 5.0. Satisfaction level of teaching revealed to be high and environments revealed to be low. 3. Subject satisfaction, practice time were significant in satisfaction level on field practice. 4. Self-concept was not influenced to the degree of satisfaction on field practice.

읍면지역의 전문대학 학생들은 공통적으로 수학의 기초학력 부족을 겪고 있다. 이러한 문제점으로 인해 전공의 기초지식이 부족하여 전공학습에 어려움을 겪게 된다. 그리고 학업에 흥미를 잃어 결국 휴학이나 자퇴를 하는 경우가 많거나 취업을 하여도 직장생활에 어려움이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하고 해결하고자 국가에서는 국가직무능력표준(NCS)을 제안하고 있다. NCS에서 제안하는 직업기초능력은 직종이나 직위에 상관없이 대부분의 직종에서 직무를 성공적으로 수행하는데 필요한 능력이다. 이러한 직업기초능력 중 하나인 수리능력을 전문대학의 수학교육에 적용시키고자 한다. NCS 수리능력을 전문대학 학생들에게 적용하였을 경우, NCS 수리능력 수업의 효과성을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 통해 바람직한 전문대학 수리능력의 교육방향을 모색하고 수학의 기초학력 제고와 흥미를 유발하게 하는 데 그 목적이 있다.

During the middle age of a woman's life cycle. several health changes and problems occur. Therefore. middle aged women must manage their health and maintain quality life by coping with bodily changes. However. today there is not enough research and health programs for middle aged women. Data from the study will be used for health promotion program development of middle aged women. Data was collected from January 21 to 24. 1995 by telephone interview. Four hundred middle aged women between 40 and 59 years old and living in Chon Ju City were interviewed. The results of this study were as follow: 1. Frequency rate of menopausal symptoms was 38.4%. The most serious menopausal symptom was psychosomatic symptom. Mean score orders of experienced symptoms were back pain, joint pain(1.80). nervousness(1.80). general weakness(1.67). 2. The most important problems as perceived by the clients were children(45.8%), health (24.0%) and economics(7.8%). The most serious health problems were concerning the muscle-skeletal system(45%) such as arthritis. spinal disk problems and osteoporosis. Adult diseases04.S%) such .as hypertension and diabetes were also health concerns. Health management activities reported were exercise(22.5%), social activity02%) and inactivity(53%)' 33% of clients were interested in health groups and they wanted a program of health education, exercise and social activity to be provided. 3. General characteristic variables were significantly related to the level of menopausal symptoms as follows: age(t=-2.06, p=0.040), status of marriage(t=-3.56, p=0.000), educational level (F=4.35. p=0.05) and menopausal status(t=4.37, p=0.000).

Authors have tested on the characteristics, image qualities and clinical applications of Konica Hi-ortho X-ray film MGH. The results are as followed; 1. The speeds of KM/MG, MGH were as about 2.7 times, and those of KR/MG, MGH were as about 4.5 times as compared with LT-II/A and the tube voltage influenced upon KM/MG, MGH over 80 kVp, upon KR/MG, MGH over 90kVp. 2. Good image definition by the detection of Burger Phanton KM/MGH, KM/MG, and LT-II/A, and good I.Q. values by the detection of Hawlet Chart LT-II/A, KM/MGH, and KM/MG in that order. Therefore, MGH film could reduce the patient dose steeply, and furthermore, provide high image quality by the high contrast and then, it will be very useful to abdominal angiography and cerebral angiography.

For the managements of the diagnostic X-ray equipments, the authors examined the output of single phase rectification assembly, Three phase rectification assembly and serial radiographic appartus, and got the following conclusions. 1. When the tube voltages in X-ray control panels ware compared to the measured values on the kVp pulse meter, only little differences were detected in all the X-ray equipments. And most of the equipments were all well managed within the internationally permitted limits, excepting the 12.02 % error at 120 kVp in three phase rectifying assembly. 2. As for the X-ray qualities affecting the X-ray images, the serial radiographic apparatus showed excellence, while the single phase rectification assembly were somewhat inferior to the others only maining the internationally recommended limits. 3. The tube voltage ranges where the X-ray output showed excellence were $100{\sim}200\;mA$ in serial radiographic apparatus, $200{\sim}350\;mA$ in three phase rectification assembly and $350{\sim}400\;mA$ in single phase rectification assembly respectively. 4. In the repeatability test of the X-ray equipments, CVs were in the range of $0.0029{\sim}0.049$, which is within the HEW or KS standards. Consequently all the equipments are thought to be well-manage. 5. This study on characteristics and output of the X-ray equipments was accomplished within a limited short time. Long-time researches on the function managements for the X-ray equipments should be followed along with the periodical checking the output for reduction of X-ray exposures to the patients or radio-technologists, and for maintanance and prediction of trouble of the equipments.
