Recently, Kim and Mauborgne (2005a) has introduced the concept of blue ocean strategy that provides quantum leap in value innovation, thus creating new market space. This study, based on the blue ocean strategy concept, suggests blue ocean new product development strategy, and attempts to examine how much impact this blue ocean new product development strategy has on new product performance, compared to existing new product development strategy perspectives based on competitive strategy-based new product development strategy and resource-based new product development strategy, in an empirical way. The research results show that the blue ocean new product development strategy has a statistically significant impact on new product performance. In addition, it was revealed that such contingency variables as firm size and environmental dynamism have moderating effect on the relationship between the blue ocean new product development strategy and new product performance. The blue ocean new product development strategy is more effective in the small-sized firms than the large-sized ones, and its effect on new product performance is different according to environmental dynamism.

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship among the mother's knowledge of infant development, mother's parenting stress, maternal parenting behavior and infant development. Participations in this study included 2078 infants(1056 boys, 1022 girls) and their mother. The major results of this study were as follows: First mother's knowledge of infants showed positive effects on maternal parenting behaviors, and mother's parenting stress showed negative effects on maternal parenting behaviors. Second, maternal parenting behaviors and mother's knowledge of infants showed positive effect on infant development. But maternal parenting stress didn't show direct effect on infant development. In conclusion, maternal parenting behaviors partially mediated between mother's knowledge of infants and infant development, and fully mediated between mother's parenting stress and infant development.

This paper presents an efficient methodology for information system development by adopting the concept of extended components which can achieve the improvement of development productivity, reductrion of development time periods, quality improvement of information systems, etc. when information development projects are carried out. First of all, for efficient development of information systems, development steps of current methodologies for information system analysis are subdivided into components in detail and outputs required at each step are defined. The components are extended by types and various application methods are proposed in each step of information system development. In addition, a method which uses advantages of current methods such as SDLC, prototyping, and RAD, is also proposed. In this research, a CASE tool named S-Designer is used for the development of extended components and their interface, and a system development method called DSDM for the deviation of detailed steps and corresponding outputs.

This study aimed at exploring new directions for revision of the Rural Development Law. Research and development for environmentally friendly agricultural technologies and localization of the extension offices and staffs were some of the important challenges to agricultural extension services in Korea. The study suggested new directions for revision of the Rural Development Law should consider new development and environmental concerns of agricultural sciences, and needs of farmers, local and central government. Some of major focus of the revised Rural Development Law should include the following; 1) Rural development programs should cover extended areas of newly developed concerns and target groups, 2) County and city administration should provide proper administrative and financial support for local agricultural extension center. 3) Areas for agricultural research and development should be extended to meet the needs of newly developed technologies and sustainable environment system at local level, 4) Monitoring and evaluation of extension efforts should be performed annually to support financially and to strengthen proper systematic linkage between national and local extension services.

The compiler is the key of the prototyping framework for the new memory system. These compiler-centric prototyping tools have several components, including compiler, linker, assembler, and standard libraries. It takes a lot of cost and man power to develop it all at zero base. Therefore, developer usually use a development framework to develop these prototyping tools efficiently. These development frameworks should be free of licensing issues when considering the commercialization of development results. Thus, developer should investigate the development framework, which is free from licensing issues and that provides all of the development environment to enable actual execution. There are three representative compiler-centric development frameworks: GCC, Clang (LLVM), and MS visual studio. There are some differences depending on the release version among them. And, there are some limitations to the freeware and commercial use. We chose LLVM here to explain the development of prototyping tools. This information will help accelerate the development of prototyping tools and will help reduce system development costs.

The completeness appraisal of software is performed in various forms, such as assessing the completion level in the development process, calculating the defect rate, estimating the development cost, and calculating the redevelopment cost. Along with this, the problem that is often dealt with is estimation of the development time. Even in a dispute over completeness due to delays in software development, issues of calculating an appropriate development time required to develop a delivery software or a development time required for change requests are often included in the appraisal request. In this paper, we introduce the procedure and method for estimating the appropriate project time of software development so that the appraiser can be applied to the appraisal work for determining the completeness. The method is based on the manual for calculating the appropriate project period of software development project.

Currently, our society is showing many changes due to the influence of information and communication technology (ICT). At the center of these information and communication technologies are software, intelligence, and sensing technologies. The software-related industry is steadily developing due to various software development policies implemented by the government and related organizations. Software development is desirable, but on the other hand, some negative aspects are also appearing. In this study, we proposed an objective way to infer the progress of software development for reasonable resolution of cases when a dispute related to the progress of development occurred during the software development process. The proposed solution was based on the waterfall model. The outputs generated in each process of the waterfall model are contents excluded from subjectivity. Therefore, it can be used as an objective method for calculating software development progress.

The purpose of this study is to propose a new development method for urban residential area, considering the urban site and development conditions rather than just meeting the development limit and regulations. Gwangju Metropolitan city is investigated as a case city and the new method verifies a decision process of pertinent development types and housing forms in urban blocks. The consequences of this study are summarized as follows. The process of a new development method consists of four steps; First, current conditions of the residential area of Gwangju are analysed in order to find out the site characteristics and housing development situations. And the theoretical research is made to set up the development goals and objectives, regarding current trends and future paradigms of residential development. Next, the suitable development sites are selected, and their site characteristics and relevant development types for the future are compared and matched with a close analysis. Finally some pertinent housing forms for each development site are suggested, which fit well in terms of urban context and are appropriate for building up sustainable city in the future.

Purpose: This study was to examine the mother's knowledge of premature development and rearing and their education needs in order to provide information to develop an education program for premature mothers. Methods: The study participants was 73 mothers of premature infants. Knowledge on premature infant's development and rearing was measured by measurement tools developed by previous research. The education needs about development and rearing were measured by self-report questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-Test, ANOVA using SPSS 20.0. Results: The score of knowledge on development was 59.3 out of 100. The category of knowledge on language development was rated the highest, and motor development category was the lowest. The score of knowledge on rearing was 77.8 out of 100. The knowledge on bathing category was rated the highest and defecation category was the lowest. The growth education needs for premature infant development was the highest education needs of premature infant development. The method for developmental improvement was the highest education needs of premature infant rearing. Conclusion: The results showed that premature infant mothers have less knowledge on premature development than premature rearing, also mothers were interested in development and there were many needs on premature infant's development.

The major elements of avionics system architecture are requirements, Real Time Operating System, message communication, memory, and data format etc. Herein describes a state-of-the-art development trend for the avionics system architecture, system requirements and data bus among the major elements of avionics system. While, domestic technology has been tried to Integrated Modular Avionics(IMA) system based on the Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet(AFDX) technology during Light Attack Helicopter(LAH) project in Korea, but not yet proved as the product case in Full Scale Development Phase. The avionics system architecture considering the domestic inexperience of the IMA system architecture are suggested for the Next-generation Corps Unmanned Aircraft System.
