The third regional development strategy making current progress is a new regional balancing development policy including the great development of the west district. The study grasped how much the regional balancing development policy contributed to bridge the gap among other areas with coefficient of variation to analyze changes of regional development related indexes among the areas before/after the regional balancing development policy which had been progressed after 1991 with harmonious development among areas as its goal was carried out. It was also analyzed that the Chinese government's goal of regional development policy was how well-suited to the Chinese reality through regression analysis, so far. However, the results obtained of the study were summarized in Table6, Table7 and Table8.

  • This study aims to analyze the model of 'autonomous regional development', which was initiated in 1980s in Austria, then introduced into Germany and Switzerland. The basic ideas of autonomous regional development are constructed of the peculiarity, the autonomy, the integrity, and the project promotion. The subjects of the development-four poles of the model 'autonomous regional development' -are designed of the land residents, the regional advisers, the regional associations and the state. The concret measures to realize the autonomous regional development are the realization of independent regional economic structures, the autonomy of political decision-makings, and the development of peculiar rural cultures. The autonomous regional development is a new development model, which is founded on the right basic principles. In this model the initiative of the residents is emphasized, and the real autonomy of regional development is required. The principle of autonomy leads to the development of peculiar rural cultures, which keep the peculiarity of the region. The development of rural culture contributes in turn to restoring the identity of residents, which may become a driving force of the rural development.

  • Study of the background and state of Osaka's waterfront space development and analysis of the functions of 22 chosen major facilities of development project reveals the following four types: amenity-oriented development, large-scale synthesis type development, renewal compound area type development, exchange communication promotion type development. Osaka bay area has served primely as the base of harbors, industry and energy, while analysis of the ongoing project has found that the city has been making a functional transition to a type of development to live up to the needs of the times, suggesting that is wise that Korea's future direction of waterfront development be oriented toward environmental-friendly development by taking advantage of low-density area's natural resources. Given the plurality and complexity of the law of coastal zone, what is needed is a legal maintenance for coastal zone's clear-cut coordinating function and for environmental-friendly development with the limitations of seaside and coastal functions in mind.

  • The objectives of this study were to compare rural development of Korea and EU. According to its traits the peroids of rural development of Korea can be divided into low periods. According to its memberships and traits the periods of rural development of EU can be divided into low periods. There are many similarities between Korea and EU in agricultural situation and rural development. EU introduced multifunctionality of agriculture in 1980s and adopt strong policy to support that in 1990s. And EU made a effort sustainable rural development, integrated rural development and balanced regional development. Recently Korea not only maintain agricultural expanisionism but also pay attention to multifunctionality of agriculture. But rural development of Korea still in the stage of physical planning and agricultural expanisionism. So it leaves much room for improvement to rural development of Korea in rural development regulation, unifying theme, detail planning, integration among policies, balanced regional development, etc.

  • This study aims to probe into the influence of new product design and new product development process management on development performance. The research finding demonstrates that product design reveals positive and significant influence on new product development performance. Through statistical analysis, this study finds that companies in Taiwan value new product design. When companies value it more, they tend to have better new product development performance. With regard to the relation between new product development process management and new product development performance, the empirical results demonstrate that companies would pay more attention on new product development process management. With regard to new product idea and assessment, concept design and development, product function test and mass production in the market, through statistical analysis, this study finds that companies that value process management of new product development tend to have better new product development performance. As to the influence of new product design and new product process management on new product development performance, statistical analysis result demonstrates that the integration between new product design valued by companies in Taiwan and development process management would lead to significantly positive influence on new product development performance of the companies.

Development communications provide opportunities to set goals, to decide contents, and to utilize communication media in developmental efforts. Contemporary trends of development communication, community development and adult education are concerned with indigenous, two-way, bottom-up and people-centered communication from exogenous, one-way, top-down and institution-centered communication of the past. Multidisciplinary approaches to communication concepts and methodology may increase the potentials of community development and adult education in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. Some of the development communication approaches such as traditional and folk media approach. new media or ICT(information & communication technology) approach, participatory communication for development approach, communication support development approach and mass media approach may be applicable for community development and adult education. • Reviewing the meaning aid task of balance of regional development, this papa examines the causes of the underdevelopment of rural areas in relation to the urbanization process, probes the concept, principle and necessity of rural community development, and suggests the policy tasks for rural community development in the perspective of regionally balanced development. Since 1960's, Korea has pursued a growth-oriented economic policy. The focus on the aggregated growth, however, has resulted bo invite some regional disparity problems. In the process of development, regional disparity problems were quite a large rural areas compared with urban areas relatively. The under-development of rural areas is deeply correlated with the overcrowding (or overconcentration) phenomena of urban(or metropolitan) areas. The urban-biased policy is the primary cause of the deepening regional imbalance structure between urban and rural areas. The inter-regions equitable and well-balanced development is one of the national policy issues by which the government is confronted, since the issue is closely related with national quality of life. Main three policy tasks for rural community development were 'the new paradigm of development policy' , 'local-oriented policy' and 'human-oriented policy'.

  • Software organisations follow different methodologies for the development of software. The software development methodologies are mainly divided into two categories, including plan-driven and agile development. To attain project success, it is very significant to consider risk management during whole project. Agile development is considered risk-driven, but many risks are unreported at the industrial level. The risks can be divided into three categories, including (i) development risks, (ii) organisations risks, and (iii) people-oriented risks. This paper deals with Development risks specifically. Several risks related to development are faced by people working in the industry while dealing with agile development. Their management among the industry is a big issue, so this paper emphasises ARMF based on development-related risks by following agile development. This research work will help software organisations to prevent different project-related risks during agile development. The risks are elicited at two-level, (i) literature-based and (ii) IT industry based. A systematic literature review was performed for eliciting the agile risks from the literature. Detailed case studies and survey research methods were applied for eliciting risks from IT industry. Finally, we merged the agile development risks from literature with standard industrial risks. Hence, we established an agile risk mitigation framework ARMF based on agile development and present a groundwork established in light of empirical examination for extending it in future research.
