열차하중 재하시 교량상slab궤도의 상향력 민감도분석 (Parametric Analysis for Up-lifting force on Slab track of Bridge under Train Load)

  • The vertical forces in rail fasteners at areas of bridge transitions near the embankment and on the pier will occur due to different deformations of adjoining bridges caused by the trainloads. The up-lifting forces is not large problem in the blast track because the elasticity of blast and rail pad buffs up-lifting effect. But, it is likely to be difficult to ensure the serviceability of the railway and the safety of the fastener in the end in that concrete slab track consist of rail, fastener, and track in a single body, delivering directly the up-lifting force to the fastener if the deck is bended because of the end rotation of the overhang due to the vertical load. When the up-lifting force exceeds the clamp force of the fastener clip, the rail pad is out of fastener, which makes decrease the serviceability of the railway, such as noise and vibration. Furthermore, it is possible to reduce the safety of the track as the longitudinal resistance. This study is focused on guideline suggestion to decrease up-lifting force in the fastener adjacent to the civil joint of slab track of bridge throughout the parametric analysis between the vertical spring stiffness of the fastener as the material approach, the space of fastener adjacent to bridge transition, the rigidity of the girder as the geometrical approach and up-lifting force under the train load.

Dynamic behaviors of viscous damper on concrete archaized building with lintel-column joint

  • In order to analyze the vibration control effect of viscous damper in the concrete archaized buildings with lintel-column joints under seismic action, 3 specimens were tested under dynamic excitation. Two specimens with viscous damper were defined as the controlled component and one specimen without viscous damper was specified as the non-controlled component. The loading process and failure patterns were obtained from the test results. The failure characteristics, skeleton curves and mechanical behavior such as the load-displacement hysteretic loops, load carrying capacity, degradation of strength and rigidity, ductility and energy dissipation of the joints were analyzed. The results indicate that the load-bearing capacity of the controlled component is significantly higher than that of the non-controlled component. The former component has an average increase of 27.4% in yield load and 22.4% in ultimate load, respectively. Meanwhile, the performance of displacement ductility and the ability of energy dissipation for the controlled component are superior to those of the non-controlled component as well. Compared with non-controlled component, equivalent viscous damping coefficients are improved by 27.3%-30.8%, the average increase is 29.0% at ultimate load for controlled component. All these results reflect that the seismic performance of the controlled component is significantly better than that of the non-controlled component. These researches are helpful for practical application of viscous damper in the concrete archaizing buildings with lintel-column joints.

고무 마운트로 이산 지지되는 플로팅 슬래브 궤도의 실모형 실내 실험에서의 정적 및 저주파 대역 동적 거동 (Static and Dynamic Behavior at Low-Frequency Range of Floating Slab Track Discretely Supported by Rubber Mounts in Real-Scale Laboratory Test)

  • 최근 철도의 소음, 진동에 대한 사회적 관심이 증가하면서, 철도 진동을 효과적으로 줄일 수 있는 플로팅 슬래브 궤도의 적용이 활발히 이루어 지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 플로팅 슬래브 궤도의 동적 거동을 보다 정확히 이해하기 위하여 실모형 실내 실험을 통해 정적 거동과 시스템 고유 진동수 부근의 저주파 대역에서 플로팅 슬래브 궤도의 동적 거동을 분석함으로써 플로팅 슬래브 궤도의 설계의 적정성과 설계에 적용되는 해석모델의 유효성을 입증하고자 하였다. 실험 및 유한요소 해석 결과에 따르면 플로팅 슬래브 궤도는 강체 모드 고유진동수보다 휨모드 고유 진동수에 가까운 대역에서 탁월 주파수가 나타나며 변형 형상도 휨모드가 가장 지배적인 모드가 되므로, 플로팅 슬래브 궤도의 설계 시에는 슬래브의 휨강성과 조인트 및 단부의 경계조건 등을 고려해야 한다. 또한 Kelvin-Voigt 모델을 사용한 2차원 유한요소 해석모델에 의한 해석 결과는 정적 및 동적 처짐, 하중 전달율 등 실험결과와 매우 잘 일치하는 것으로 나타나 플로팅 슬래브 궤도의 설계에 활용하기에 충분한 신뢰성을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

이두건 부하 검사(Biceps Load Test): 견관절 재발성 전방 탈구시 SLAP 병변 진단의 새로운 검사방법 (Biceps Load Test: A Test of SLAP lesion in the Recurrent Anterior Dislocation of the Shoulder)

  • The following will describe a method of evaluating the SLAP lesion in the recurrent anterior dislocation of the shoulder. We have named it the biceps load test. The biceps load test is performed with the patient in the supine position and the arm to be examined is abducted 90/sup°/, and the forearm is in the supinated position. First, the anterior apprehension test is performed. When the patient become apprehensive, the patient is allowed active flexion of the elbow, while the examiner resists elbow flexion. If the apprehension is relieved or diminished, the test is negative. If aggravated or unchanged, the test is positive. A prospective study was performed, in which 75 patients who were diagnosed as having recurrent unilateral anterior instability of the shoulder underwent the biceps load test and arthroscopic examination. The biceps load test showed negative results in 64 of these patients, of which the superior labral-biceps complex was intact'in 63 cases and only I shoulder revealed a type n SLAP lesion. E]even patients with a positive test were confirmed to have type n SLAP lesions. A positive biceps load test represents an unstable SLAP lesion in a patient with recurrent anterior dislocation of the shoulder. The biceps load test is a reliable test for evaluating the SLAP lesion in the recurrent anterior dislocation of the shoulder(sensitivity: ,9] .7%, specificity: 100%, positive predictive value: 1.00 and negative predictive value: 0.98). Biceps contraction increases the torsional rigidity ?of the glenohumeral joint and long head of biceps tendan act as internal rotator of the shoulder in the abducted and externally rotated position. These stabilize the shoulder in abduction and external rotation position in the biceps load test.

A single slotted morphing flap based on SMA technology

  • In this paper, the activities carried out within the EU funded Clean Sky Joint Technology Initiative (JTI GRA) Project and aimed at developing a morphing flap, are illustrated. The reference device is a regional aircraft single slotted flap, enhanced with deforming capabilities to obtain improved hyper-lift performance. The design started with the identification of the internal architecture, intended to allow camber variations. A concentrated-hinge architecture was selected, for its ability to fit different curvatures and for the possibility of easily realizing an "armadillo-like" configuration, then avoiding the use of a complicate deformable skin. The flap layout is made of segmented ribs, elastically hinged each other and span-wise connected by conventional spars. Relative rotations of the rib elements are forced by SMA structural actuators, i.e., cooperating in the external loads absorption. Super-elastic SMA are used to make up recovery elastic elements, necessary to regain the original shape after activation. These further elements in turn contribute to the overall flap rigidity. After assessing the hinge number and the size of the SMA active and passive elements, the advanced design phase was dealt with. It was aimed at solving manufacturing issues and producing the executive drawings. The realized demonstrator was finally tested in lab conditions to prove its functionality in terms of whether target shape actuation or attained shape preservation under loads. On the basis of the numerical results and the experimental outcomes, precious hints were obtained for further developments of the concept.

  • 본 연구는 vertical drain well 설치지반의 보다 더 실제적이고 합리적인 변형해석을 목적으로 drain well 타설로 인하여 발생하는 well 주변 점토층의 교란(smear)영향, well과 인접점토층의 강성차이에서 오는 접합면 변형의 불연속거동 표현이 가능한 유한요소해석 방법을 제시하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 유한요소해석의 구성은 변형의 지배방정식으로서 Biot의 압밀이론을 근간으로 여기에 흙의 구성식과 접합요소이론을 결합하여 이루어진다. 본 논문에서 제시한 해석법의 정도는 Siriwardane과 Ghaboussi 등이 사용한 지반에 적용하여 검증한 바 있다. 여기에서는 이를 다시 모델지반과 실제지반에 대해서 유한요소해석법을 적용하여 강성이 다른 이질재료간 경계에서의 불연속변형의 영향에 따른 지반내 거동특성을 살펴보고 이것을 함께 고려한 해석법의 정도를 알아보고자 한 것이다. 그 결과는 침하에 있어서 매우 만족스럽다고 보아지지만 간극수압등에는 잘 일치하지 않는 점이 있어 앞으로의 더 많은 연구가 필요하다고 판단된다.

제한성 피부병증(Restrictive Dermopathy) 1례 (A case of restrictive dermopathy)

  • 제한성 피부병증(Restrictive dermopathy)은 상염색체 열성으로 유전되는, 매우 드문 유전성 피부질환으로, 1986년 처음 기술되었다. 임상증상으로는 피부가 강직성, 긴장성병변을 보이며, 이로인해 운동의 제한, 관절의 구축 등이 생긴다. 매우 작고 둥근 입 모양, 양안격리, 소하악증 등을 동반한 특징적인 얼굴기형과 폐저형성증, 커다란 대천문, 쇄골의 이형성 등을 동반하기도 한다. 정확한 병인은 알려져 있지 않으며, 지금까지 50례 정도 보고되고 있으나, 국내에는 아직 보고가 없다. 저자들은 이 환아와 똑같은 외형의 사산아를 출산한 경력이 있는 산모에서, 제태연령 31주에, 출생체중 1.1 kg로 태아곤란증 때문에 제왕절개로 출생한 미숙아가 출생 직후부터 호흡곤란과 청색증을 보였고, 작은 입 모양에 소하악증과 얇고 경직된 피부와 사지 관절의 구축성 변형 등을 보였으며, 체간과 사지의 일부에 피부가 벗겨져 나간 소견을 나타내어, 피부조직검사 결과 상피조직의 비후성 미란, 얇은 진피층, 피부부속기관의 미발달소견, 탄성섬유의 현저한 감소가 관찰되는 전형적인 제한성 피부병증 1례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다.

유전 알고리즘을 이용한 스튜어트 플랫폼의 최적 PID 제어 게인 선정을 위한 실험적 접근 (Experimental approach for selecting an optimal PID control gain using genetic algorithm for stewart platform)

  • The stewart platform manipulator proposed by stewart is the parallel manipulator which is composed of several independent actuators connecting the upper plate with the base plate and capable of executing a six degree of freedom motion. The manipulator has a structure of a closed loop form, and provides better load-to-weight ratio and ratio and rigidity than a serial manipulator with an open loop form. Moreover, the manipulator has high positional accuracy because position errors of actuators are not additive. Because of these advantages, this manipulator is widely used in many engineering applications such as a driving simulator, a tool of machining center, a force/torque sensor and so on. When this Stewart platform manipulator is controlled in joint space, it is difficult to design a controller using an analytic method due to nonhnearity and unknown parameters of actuators. Therefore, a PID controller is often used because of easiness in applications. To find the PID control gain, a trial-and-error method is generally used. This method is time-consuming, and does not guarantee a optimal gain. Thus, this paper proposes a GA-PID controller which selects an optimal PID control gain using genetic algorithms. And this proposed controller is evaluated experimentally and shows acceptable performance.

A study on the Improvement of Electromyography of Agricultural Work Chairs for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders

  • Squatting of agricultural work can cause musculoskeletal disorders due to excessive pressure and rotational force on the knee joint In order to improve the assistive chair used in squatting agricultural work so that it can be used in a narrow groove, it is intended to improve the musculoskeletal harm of squatting work by attaching a spring on the assistive chair. Therefore, in the presenty study, 3D drawing was done using ProEngineer (3D), and a mock-up was produced and tested. Using pro-Engineer, it was judged that it was rare for plastic to be broken by a spring, so the analysis was conducted with a focus on springs. It was found that the structure that can absorb the shock according to the rigidity of the tape spring and balance the body is that the power to withstand the load of the weight is distributed as a whole when five springs are used. Electromyography was measured using ME600 (Mega Electronics, Finland) Measuring equipment attached to the waist, thighs, calves, and shins. EMG values were measured and compared with the prototype in two ways, when the worker did not wear the product and when he wore an existing product on the market. As a result of the experiment when using the prototype, the maximum EMG value for each part is considered to be helpful in preventing musculoskeletal diseases as the amount of muscle used is reduced in the waist, thighs, calves, and shins.

지하수 유로 조사를 위한 절리계의 응용지질학적 분석 (A Study of Joint System for Groundwater Pathway)

  • 본 연구는 충청남도 논산군 벌곡면 일대 즉 벌곡면 도산리와 수락리에 발달한 지하수 충진지역을 대상으로 하였다. 조사 지역의 수계는 남북 방향으로 발달되어 있으며, 지질은 가장 고기에 해당하는 옥천계 창리층(Och)이 중앙부에 위치하며, 본 지역의 서쪽의 경상계 유천층군에 대비되는 응회암(Kslt)은 동쪽의 화강암(Kqb)과 북쪽의 석영반암(Kgf)에 의하여 관입 되었다. 각 지역에서 측정된 약 3000개의 절리면을 경사 방향과 각도를 구면투영하여 통계학적으로 우세한 방향을 찾아본 결과 화강암의 경우는 dipdirection/dip이 228~257/73~88, 010~150/70~85 두방향이, 창리층의 경우는 134~164/40~90, 214~249/55~89, 응회암은 291~332/75~82, 235~241/73~71의 방향이 우세하였다. 그러나 북부에 소규모로 분포하는 석영반암은 뚜렷한 방향성을 나타내지 않았다. 기반암에서의 P파 전달속도를 측정하여 최대치와 최소치를 비교한 결과 석영반암은 $5000(240)~2380(360^{\circ})m/s$로, 화강암은 $3846(210^{\circ})~1408(150^{\circ})m/s$ 응회암은 $5000(360^{\circ})~2323(150^{\circ})m/s$, 창리층 지역에서는 $6667(180^{\circ})~2000(030^{\circ})m/s$로 나타났다. 암석의 공학적 성질은 시료를 26면체의 시편으로 제작한후 각 방향별 동탄성계수 즉 뽀아송의 비, 강성률, 영률, 체적탄성률을 산출하여 야외에서 측정된 자료와 비교 분석 하였다.
