노인일자리사업 참여자의 삶의 만족도와 정책효과에 관한 연구 (The Degree of on the life Satisfaction and the policy effects of the jop creation project in the Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 노인일자리사업에 참여하는 노인들의 삶의 만족과 정책효과에 대해서 기초자료를 제공 코저 한다. 서울특별시에 소재한 노인종합복지관 10개소에서 노인일자리사업에 참여하는 노인 950명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료 분석을 위하여 SPSS15.0·for window 프로그램을 이용하였다. 연구결과 노인일자리참여 동기는 생활비 마련과 용돈, 건강유지, 사회참여 순으로 응답하였으며, 정신적으로, 심리적으로 노인일자리사업이 개인적으로 효과가 있다고 응답하였다. 또한 사회적 효과 면에서도 사회참여 촉진에 대한 개인적 효과가 높게 나타났다. 노인일자리사업의 만족도는 정책효과를 통한 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 간접효과가 있다는 것으로 나타났다. 노인들의 다양한 경험과 경륜은 시대적 요구에 맞게 특성수준에 맞는 다양한 노인일자리사업이 필요하다고 하겠다.

비즈니스 역량이 창직 의지에 미치는 영향 : 기업가 열정의 매개효과 및 성별 조절효과 (A Study on the Effect of Business Capabilities on Job Creation Intenion : Mediating Effect of Entrepreneur Passion and Moderating Effect of Gender)

  • 본 연구는 다양하고 세분화 되어가는 노동시장에서 취업 및 창업의 대안이 될 수 있는 창직 활동을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 찾아보고자 하였다. 비즈니스 역량이 창직 의지에 미치는 영향과 기업가 열정의 매개효과를 확인하고 집단 간 비교를 위하여 성별을 조절변수로 활용하였다. 설문은 6개 변수에 각각 4문항으로 구성하고 7점 Likert 척도를 사용하였다. 설문에 성실하게 응답한 392명을 대상으로 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 기술통계 분석, 상관관계 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조적 관계분석, 매개효과, 조절효과에 대하여 실시하였다. 분석결과 비즈니스 역량에서 창직 의지, 비즈니스 역량에서 기업가 열정, 기업가 열정에서 창직 의지의 관계는 모두 정(+)적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 또한, 부트스트래핑 매개효과 검증에서 기업가 열정은 비즈니스 역량과 창직 의지간의 관계에서 매개역할을 하였다. 집단 간 비교를 실시한 성별에 따는 창직 의지는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 창직 활동은 아이템의 차별화, 경험 및 노하우, 최근 트렌드를 반영한 비즈니스 모델, 열정과 끈기의 창직가 정신을 갖추고 주위의 부정적인 시각과 걱정을 극복하여야 한다.

1981-2000년간 한국 광공업 5인 이상 사업체에서의 일자리 창출과 소멸 (Job Creation and Job Destruction in Korean Mining and Manufacturing, 1981-2000)

  • 이 글은 1981년부터 2000년까지 한국의 "광공업통계조사" 원자료를 이용하여 한국 광공업의 사업체 수준에서의 일자리창출률과 소멸률을 측정하고 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. Davis and Haltiwanger(19992)의 방법론에 따라 측정한 결과 동 기간 광공업 5인 이상 지속사업체의 일자리창출률과 소멸률은 각각 9.75, 10.33로서 다른 나라의 일자리변동과 비교할 때 상대적으로 높은 수준이었다. 또한 창출된 일자리의 지속성이 낮고 일자리변동의 집중성은 높은 수준임을 확인할 수 있다. 노동자 재배치 중에서 일자리 재배치가 설명하는 비중을 측정한 결과 미국과 비슷하거나 더 높은 비중을 보여서 일자리변동이 노동이동의 중요한 요인으로 작용했음을 확인할 수 있었다. 외환위기 직전까지 노동이동이 감소하는 추세였던 데 비해 일자리 재배치 수준에는 변함이 없어 외환위기 직전에는 일자리 재배치가 설명하는 비중이 최대 60%까지 높아졌다. 마지막으로 일자리창출과 소멸의 변화가 호황과 불황기에 어떤 차이가 있는지를 연구하였다. 창출률과 소멸률은 각각 경기순행적, 경기역행적으로서 일반적인 양상을 띠고 있었으며, 미국과 달리 일자리 재배치율의 경기역행성은 관측할 수 없었다.

상용SW 유지관리 요율 상향에 따른 일자리 창출 효과 분석 (An Analysis of Job Creation Effects by Increasing Commercial Software Maintenance Rate)

  • The prolonged coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) has caused serious problems such as job losses and youth unemployment, but as the fourth industrial revolution and digital transformation accelerate, the importance of SW is highlighted and more qualified jobs are expected in the SW industry. However, domestic SW companies are having difficulties in not properly recognizing the value of SW products. Among many related issues, commercial SW maintenance-related issues are representative, and the main problem is the difference in the maintenance fee rates between domestic and foreign SW. In this study, the expected job creation effect when the SW maintenance rate is raised was analyzed using data related to the SW industry and commercial software. As a result of the analysis, the amount required to raise the commercial SW maintenance rate by 1% is 162 billion won. If all of these are used for employment, the expected new job creation effect is 3,240 jobs per year, and 15,451 jobs are created per year when calculated and estimated as the effect of increasing sales through the employment inducement coefficient. In addition, the amount required to raise the current average maintenance rate of 11.1% to 15% is 631.9 billion won, and it was possible to estimate the effect of creating jobs for 12,648 people based on the simple average wage and 60,259 people from the sales increase effect.

Empirical Study About ODA Effects on Job Creation

  • Purpose - This study empirically investigates the effects of Official Development Assistance (ODA) on the economic activities of private actors in recipient countries. As a proxy for the economic activities of private actors, we utilize the job creation activities of foreign subsidiaries in recipient countries. The foreign subsidiaries provide a foundation for economic development by creating paying jobs. That is, if ODA has been successfully transferred to foreign subsidiaries, then these foreign subsidiaries should help economic growth and help create a boom in the local market by providing jobs. These jobs eventually lead to the achievement of the primary aims of foreign aid, including poverty reduction. Thus, this study empirically examines the relationship between ODA and the number of jobs created by foreign subsidiaries in recipient countries. Design/methodology - This is the first study to examine the effects of the ODA on the job creation of foreign subsidiaries because it has been hard to obtain internal information related to the employment status of foreign subsidiaries. Fortunately, we have a unique panel dataset provided by the Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) for 2006 to 2013. In terms of the empirical specification, we use the generalized least squares (GLS) method. The panel GLS estimator allows us to have an efficient estimation that overcomes the limitations of the panel data. It employs assumptions about the heteroscedasticity between the panels and makes an autocorrelation of the error term within each panel. Findings - We find that ODA influences job creation in foreign subsidiaries. In particular, we found that ODA creates more jobs in sales than in managerial or production positions. This study also shows that the effect of the ODA on the foreign subsidiaries' job creation activities depend on the purpose of the ODA. By examining ODA effects on the foreign subsidiaries' economic activities (e.g., job creation), this study fills a gap in the current literature. Originality/value - Existing studies that focus on the ODA effect have either a macroeconomic point or a microeconomic point of view. However, both approaches do not explain how well foreign aid has influenced private economic actors of recipient countries. In essence, previous researchers found it difficult to obtain the necessary data for internal employment status from foreign subsidiaries. However, thanks to the Korea Export-Import Bank, this study shows that ODA indeed influences the job creation activities of foreign subsidiaries even after controlling for other factors such as FDI, GDP growth rate, employment rate, household expenditure, mother firms' share, etc. By doing so, we can examine how ODA influences the job creation of foreign subsidiaries, which might help economic development and reduce the amount of poverty in recipient countries.

개인과 집단의 특성이 지식창출에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Individual and Team Characteristics on Knowledge Creation : An Analysis by Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM))

  • This paper investigates the effect of stress on knowledge creation. The goal stress of resource inadequacy and job stress had negative influences on knowledge creation. However, the cohesion and mastery climate of team had positive influence on knowledge creation. Therefore this paper verifies the moderate role of the cohesion and mastery climate of team on the relationship between stress and knowledge creation. The model developed was tested using data collected from knowledge based industry with 375 members in 69 teams in 12 different firms. A Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM) was used to test the hypotheses generated from the model. Results show that job stress had a negative influence on knowledge creation as we expected but the goal stress didn't. The mastery climate of team affected knowledge creation positively and moderated the relationship between the goal stress and knowledge creation. Furthermore, the team cohesion had a positive influence on knowledge creation. The study provided some implications that practitioners should consider the stress when they design jobs for team members and suggest them the way to manage their job stress when they work.

지역별 가젤형 기업의 고용창출 특성 분석 (Regional Characteristics of Job Creation by Gazelle-firms)

  • 지속적으로 고용창출에 기여하는 가젤형 기업에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문은 가젤형 기업의 지역별 고용창출 특성을 양적 질적 차원에서 실증 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 더 나아가, 4개의 유형으로 구분함으로써 유형별 업종 특성을 비교하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가젤형 기업의 고용창출 특성은 지역별로 차별화 되고 있다. 둘째, 각 유형별로 업종 특성이 상이한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유형별로 차별적인 전략 수립이 필요하다. 본 논문의 결과는 효과적인 가젤형 기업 육성을 위해서 지역 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 정책이 필요하다는 정책적 시사점을 제공하였다.

  • Korea Credit Guarantee Fund(KODIT) is a public financial institution under the provision of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund Act. Facing the waves of change both locally and globally, KODIT will serve as 'social value creator' in making a paradigm shift from a large corporation(Conglomerate-dominated) economy to a social enterprise-oriented one based on social economy. This study focuses on the supporting service programs for social enterprises and job creation how it affects the performance of social value creation of KODIT. There is currently no detailed research of the social value in terms of the business and management academic agenda. Therefore, the present study describes the importance of social value creation on the policy financial institution. This study conducted in-depth case study for social value performance. As a public policy financial institution, KODIT exert diverse efforts to correct market failure and achieve inclusive growth. For example, KODIT extends credit guarantee services for the liabilities of promising corporations and stimulates financial and non-financial supporting programs for social enterprises. Although the role of social value and social economy has gained business field attention, few investigations have been conducted to explain how social value is achieved. The present study can thus act as the foundation for exploring the social value creation in the circumstances of public financial institution.

SW일자리 창출을 위한 지속가능성과 개방형 관점에서의 산업클러스터 사례 비교 분석 (A Comparative Study on the Industrial Cluster Cases for Job Creation from the Viewpoint of Sustainability and Open Innovation)

  • Currently, the SW industry is the center of digital economy and it is very important industry in terms of market scale and ripple effect. Due to the suffering from poor working environment of the SW industry and the disproportion of manpower supply due to the lack of experienced SW manpower, it is hard to create jobs of high quality for the SW professionals who can be applied to various convergence industries. In this study, we try to analyze the benchmarking cases of successful foreign industrial innovative clusters in order to promote sustainable development direction of SW industry and to create high quality SW jobs. First, the comparison criteria are derived from the viewpoint of creation of high quality SW jobs through an analysis of SW environment by using expert FGI (Focus Group Interview) technique. The critical success factors (CSFs) are derived by comparing and analyzing each industrial cluster cases in terms of SW job creation. This article presents the desirable implications of the cluster of SW industry that can generate SW jobs continuously from the viewpoint of ecosystem environment infrastructure. Through this study, we propose a meaningful direction of SW clusters for job creation, and solve the business inconsistency and suggest ways to increase the sustainability of core competence manpower.

SW산업 일자리 창출효과 모델분석 (Analysis of Employment Creation Effect Model for SW Industry)

  • Despite the government's efforts, the jobs in SW industry are not easily created and only many problems of unemployment have been pointed out, failing to solve the basic problem. Sustainable decent jobs were recognized as a national task. Emotional connection between things and people is the SW industry, which is a core industry of the 4th industrial revolution. In order to be globally competitive, SW job creation, manpower planning for generating core human resources and highly educated manpower is a necessary issue. Basic estimation of job creation using the Input Output Table by Bank of Korea has some limitations and did not consider the SW industry characteristics. This study proposes an assessment model of SW policies and the practices a case of assessment of 113 projects supported by the Korean government. We propose a flowchart that can divide the government budgets according to the portion of the direct investment for SW industry by introducing investment types. We use an adjusted Input Output Table for SW industry and the model also considers the effect of SW promotions and regulations effects. This model can be used practically and flexibly by adjusting the SW fusion areas portions. It also considers the characteristics of the project, supporting areas, project size, short-term and long-term types. 113 projects of 'MSIT', 'SMBA' and 'NIPA' were analyzed and classified into 'policy' and 'business' to reflect SW job creation effect model considering domestic SW characteristics. By analyzing the practical data, 47,254 jobs are expected to be created within five years in optimistic cases and 27,211 jobs would be created in pessimistic cases.
