조별과제 동료평가의 역효과 해결을 위한 직무배정 수업기법 (Teaching Method using Job Assignment as a Solution on the Adverse Effects of Peer Evaluation in Team-based Learning)

  • 본 연구에서는 조별과제 시 발생할 수 있는 무임승차자, 학생들 간의 갈등, 학생들 간의 적대감 형성 문제를 해결하기 위하여 직무배정을 통한 조별과제 수행방법을 제안한다. 특히, 직무배정을 통한 과제 수행이 조별과제에 대한 동료평가 시 발생하는 역효과를 개선할 수 있는지 고찰한다. 본 연구에서는 공학교육의 설계 교과목에서 학습자를 한 조당 일곱 명으로 구성하고, 조원 별로 각각 상이한 직무를 부여하여 한 학기 간 과제를 진행하였다. 결과적으로 변화된 조별과제 수행방법이 무임승차자, 학생들 간의 갈등, 학생들 간의 적대감 형성 문제에 미치는 영향을 학생들의 평가를 통해 고찰한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 직무배정을 통한 조별과제 수행 방법은 무임승차자 문제의 해결에 효과가 있었으며, 특히 동료평가 방법을 적용한 경우와 대비하여 학생들 간의 갈등 발생을 줄이고, 적대감 형성을 예방하는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문에서 제시한 조별과제 수행방법을 교육과정의 조별과제 수행 시 적용하면 과제 수행 과정의 효율성을 높일 수 있을 것이다.

  • [1]은 직무배정을 통한 조별과제 수행이 동료평가 방식의 문제점 개선에 효과가 있음을 보여줬으나, 그러한 학습방법이 학습성과에 부정적 영향을 주는가에 대한 고찰이 필요함을 제시하고 있다. 이와 관련하여 직무배정 수업 기법이 학습성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 분석하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 조별과제 수행 시 조원별로 차별화된 직무를 배정하여, 이에 대한 학습자의 학습성과 변화를 학습자 스스로의 평가, 교수자 입장의 평가로 나누어 분석하는 방법을 사용하였다. 분석결과는 직무배정을 통한 조별과제 수행기법은 학습자 스스로의 평가, 교수자 입장의 평가 모두에서 학습성과의 향상을 나타냄을 보였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 변화된 조별과제 수행 방법을 공학교육의 교과과정에서 적절히 활용한다면 조별과제 수행 과정의 학습성과 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

[논문철회]소방공무원의 직무스트레스와 감정노동이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 ([Retracted]Effects of emotional labor and job stress on turnover intention among firefighters)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of firefighters' job stress and emotional labor on their turnover intention, and analyze the main factors impacting turnover intention in this context. Methods: Based on a descriptive survey study design, we administered a structured questionnaire among 231 firefighters at one fire station in G metropolitan city from November 13 to 27, 2020. Results: Regarding job stress, participants showed differences based on marital status (p<.05), health status (p<.001), total service period (p<.05), and assignment (p<.05). For emotional labor, a significantly higher rate was observed for female than male firefighters (p<.05), with differences also observed in age (p<.001), health status (p<.001), total service period (p<.05), rank (p<.001), and assignment (p<.05). Further, for turnover intention, significant differences were noted with respect to age (p<.001), education (p<.01), health status (p<.001), total service period (p<.01), work unit (p<.05), rank (p<.001), and assignment (p<.05). A significant correlation was found between job stress and emotional labor and turnover intention. Regarding the factors affecting turnover intention, significant differences were noted based on education, rank, job stress, and emotional labor; the explanatory power was 53.9% (F=13.806, p<.001). Conclusion: Tailored support programs must be developed to ease firefighters' job stress and reduce their emotional labor to facilitate effective manpower management and reduce firefighters' turnover intention.

Reducing the congestion in a class of job shops

  • Consider a job shop that is modelled as an open queueing network of the Jackson(l957) type. All work stations in the shop have the same number of parallel servers. Two problems are studied : the loading of stations and the assignment of servers, which are represented by loading and assingment vectors, respectively. Ma jorization and arrangement orderings are established to order, respectively, the loading and the assignment vectors. It is shown that reducing the loading vector under ma jorizat ion or increasing the assignment vector under arrangement ordering will reduce the congestion in the shop in terms of reducing the total number of jobs(in the sense of likelihood ratio ordering), the maximum queue length(in the sense of stochastic ordering), and the queue-length vector( in the sense of stochastic majorization). The results can be used to supprot production planning in certain job shops, and to aid the desing of storage capacity. A Job Loading Procedure as a Kernel Part of FMS Integrated Operating System and Its Evaluation

  • FMS operating system consists of several subsystems in general. i.e. tool grouping subsystem. tool/job assignment subsystem. job dispatching subsystem, and papers dealing with each subsystem were published by many researchers [1], [4], [6], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12], [13], [14], [15], [16]. This paper mainly discusses about tool/job assignment subsystem as a job loading procedure. that occupies the kernel position of overall FMS operating system. Its performance is evaluated through simulation experiments of an integrated operating system under a typical FMS hardware configuration implemented in many machining factories, which is composed of the proposed procedure as well as a job dispatching procedure including several heuristic dispatching rules in terms of rule-base.

신경외과 임상전문간호사의 역할갈등과 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on Role Conflict and Job Satisfaction of Neurosurgery Clinical Nurse Specialist)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe role conflict and job satisfaction of Neurosurgery Clinical Nurse Specialist(NCNS) and to identify associated factors. Method: The target populations was 77 NCNSs from 30 general hospitals. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using t-test and ANOVA. Results: The overall mean scores of role conflict and job satisfaction were $3.60({\pm}0.54)$ and $3.04({\pm}0.46)$ respectively. Significant variables affecting role conflict were the working period as NCNS, the number of colleague NCNSs in working hospital, and assignment of prescription rights. The significant variable affecting job satisfaction was assignment of prescription rights. There was no statistically significant correlation between job and role conflict. Conclusion: The variable effecting both role conflict and job satisfaction was the extent of prescription rights. In order to improve the quality of patient care and to protect Neurosurgery Nurse Clinical Specialist, the enactment of law on prescription practice is needed.

조선 선체 생산설계 일정 계획을 위한 상세 이산사건 모델링기반 비즈니스 프로세스 시뮬레이션 (High-level Discrete-event Modeling-based Business Process Simulation for the Scheduling of the Ship Hull Production Design)

  • For the scheduling and the job assignment of the ship hull production design which is a process-based work, we suggest the simulation-based scheduling using the discrete-event-based business process simulation. First, we analyze the ship hull production design process from the perspective of a job assignment to make it into the simulation model using DEVS (Discrete Event System Specification) which is the representative modeling method for a discrete-event simulation. Based on the APIs of the open-source discrete-event simulation engine, we implement the simulation using the Groovy script. We develop the scenario generator in which the user defines detail information of the construction drawing and its member blocks, and design engineers information, and the various setting for the simulation including the job assignment strategy. We use the XML files from this scenario generator as inputs of simulation so that we can get simulation result in forms of Gantt chart without changes of the simulation model.

A Distributed Task Assignment Method and its Performance

  • We suggest a distributed framework for task assignment in the computer-controlled shop floor where each of the resource agents and part agents acts like an independent profit maker. The job allocation problem is formulated as a linear programming problem. The LP formulation is analyzed to provide a rationale for the distributed task assignment procedure. We suggest an auction based negotiation procedure including a price-based bid construction and a price revising mechanism. The performance of the suggested procedure is compared with those of an LP formulation and conventional dispatching procedures by simulation experiments.

Common Due-Date Assignment and Scheduling on Parallel Machines with Sequence-Dependent Setup Times

  • This paper considers common due-date assignment and scheduling on parallel machines. The main decisions are: (a) deter-mining the common due-date; (b) allocating jobs to machines; and (c) sequencing the jobs assigned to each machine. The objective is to minimize the sum of the penalties associated with common due-date assignment, earliness and tardiness. As an extension of the existing studies on the problem, we consider sequence-dependent setup times that depend on the type of job just completed and on the job to be processed. The sequence-dependent setups, commonly found in various manufacturing systems, make the problem much more complicated. To represent the problem more clearly, a mixed integer programming model is suggested, and due to the complexity of the problem, two heuristics, one with individual sequence-dependent setup times and the other with aggregated sequence-dependent setup times, are suggested after analyzing the characteristics of the problem. Computational experiments were done on a number of test instances and the results are reported.
