소방공무원이 지각한 외상경험이 직무소진과 우울, 불안 및 대인관계에 대한 차이 비교 연구 (A Study on Differences of the Effects of Firefighter's Traumatic Experiences on Their Burnout, Depression, Anxiety and Social Relationships)

  • The goal of this study is to investigate the factors affecting firefighter's traumatic experiences and to examine and compare the differences of how those factors contribute to firefighter's burnout, depression, anxiety and social relationships. This study suggests that it is imperative for firefighters to have mindfulness, which brings mental and emotional healing, for their job-satisfaction. To empirically examine the research model of this study, the questionnaire survey was carried out to firefighters in InCheon Metropolitan City for two weeks; from October 19thto November 3rd, 2017. Out of 180 questionnaires, 170were retrieved. Total number of 160 questionnaires are empirically examined this study, excluding10bad survey responses. The t-test was conducted to determine whether there exist differences by gender among traumatic experienced firefighters, and a meaningful difference was found from perceived intrusiveness, a sub factor to traumatic experiences. Male firefighters showed higher mean than that of female firefighters in perceived angle, evasion and intrusiveness. Second, the t-test was conducted to determine whether there exist differences by gender in firefighter's burnout, but no meaningful differences were found. Female firefighters showed higher mean in emotional exhaustion, impersonalization and in decrease in self-achievements. Third, the t-test was conducted to determine whether there exist differences by gender in firefighter's depression and relationships, but no meaningful differences were found.

비영리기관 종사자의 소진이 조직효과성에 미치는 영향 - 건강가정지원센터와 다문화가족지원센터를 중심으로 (The Effect of Burnout in Non-profit Organization Worker's on Organizational Effectiveness -A Focus on the Healthy Family Support Center and Multicultural Family Support Center)

  • This study focused on the Healthy Family Support Center and Multicultural Family Support Center, which supervise the main field of family resource management with institutional household factors. Our research objective was to present datas demonstrating an improvement in the organizational effectiveness of the Multicultural Family Support Center. The burn out average of employees working for the non-profit organization was 2.45, emotional burnout was 2.87, achievement was 2.43, and dehumanization was 2.06. The effectiveness average of the nonprofit organization was 3.56, profitability was 3.65, job satisfaction was 3.58, and organizational commitment was 3.45. The generic characters that caused burnout were age, information, and professionalism in research. The generic characters and burnout that affected the organizational effectiveness included a lack of accomplishment, and emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization, lack of information and professionalism, lack of external resources in that order. The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of burnout in order to prevent job changes and to provide basic data for the improvement of organizational effectiveness.

The Influence of Bullying on Burnout through Workaholism and Perceived Organizational Support

  • Purpose - This study examined workplace bullying as a situational antecedent of workaholism and burnout as a consequence of workaholism and explored the mediating role of workaholism and the moderation effect of perceived organizational support. Research design, data, and methodology - This study collected data from 319 employees in South Korean companies through a survey method. Results - First, job-related bullying promotes a compulsive and excessive drive to work. However, person-related bullying was positively related to the tendency to work excessively hard. Second, only working excessively shows positive relationship with only exhaustion excepting cynicism. Third, although bullied employees may reserve their personal resources through workaholism in short time, it drives them to be workaholic, which leads them exhausted in turn. Finally, perceived organizational support decreases the effect of job-related bulling on both of working compulsively and working excessively. Conclusions - First, this study suggests workplace bullying as a situational antecedent and verify burnout as a consequence of workaholism. Second, it investigate the mediating role of workaholism and the moderation effect of perceived organizational support. Practically, When they find workaholic employees, they should investigate if workplace bullying exists through face-to-face talk. If necessary, they should decide personal transfer to the other department or work team.

보건교사의 직무 스트레스와 소진 및 자기 효능감에 대한 구조모형: 경로분석 (The Association between Health Teachers' Stress, Burnout, and Self-Efficacy: A Path Analysis Approach)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학교보건을 책임지고 있는 보건교사의 직무 스트레스, 소진 및 자기 효능감의 수준과 이들 변인들 사이의 인과관계를 구조모형으로 검증하기 위한 것이다. 보건교사 814명에게 구조화된 설문지로 구조방정식 모형(structural equation modeling)의 경로분석(path analysis)을 통해 인과관계 모형을 검증하였다. 분석결과 보건교사의 직무 스트레스는 평균 2.9±0.64, 소진은 2.6±0.52로 Likert 5점 척도의 중간 값보다 약간 낮은 수준이나, 이에 반해 자기 효능감은 4.1±0.51로 높은 수준이었다. 하지만 하위구성 요인별로는 다양한 양상으로 나타나 직무 스트레스 중에서 '학생 및 가정요인'과 '동료교사 인식'의 경우가 높은 수준이었고 소진의 경우는 '부과업무'가 높은 수준이었다. 또한, 보건교사의 직무 스트레스는 소진을 증가(r=.511) 시키고 자기 효능감을 떨어트리는 효과(r=-.179)를 가지며, 또한 소진은 자기 효능감을 상당하게 감소((r=-.460) 시키는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 직무 스트레스는 소진에 영향을 미치고 소진은 자기 효능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 보건교사의 소진을 감소시키고 자기 효능감을 증대시키기 위해서는 직무 스트레스에 대한 효과적인 관리가 매우 중요하여 직무 스트레스를 낮추기 위한 다양한 노력이 필요하다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구의 결과는 보건교사의 직무 스트레스와 소진을 줄이고 자기 효능감을 높이기 위한 정책수립과 실질적 개선안 마련에 도움이 될 것이다.

천안시내 택시운전기사들의 자각적 피로와 식이요인의 관련성에 관한 조사연구 (A Survey on the Relationship Between Self-Reported Symptoms of Fatigue and Dietary Factors of Taxi Drivers in Cheonan Area)

  • The effect of dietary factors on the self-reported symptoms of fatigue were surveyed by the interviewing method among 119 taxi drivers in Cheonan area. It was shown that 86.5% of them were working over 11 hours a day and 34.4% of them over 16 hours. the level of job satisfaction was very low. Many of them felt fatigue during driving. Some symptoms of fatigue which many taxi drives said to be suffered from were headache physical exhaustion nervousness tired and sore eyes and anorexia. When related variables to the self-reported symptoms of fatigue were analyzed daily sleeping hours and exercise were significantly correlated with physical mental and neuro-motor fatigue, Subjects who had meals irregularly were greater than those who had regularly. In addition they tended to eat faster during working and 28.6% of them seldom had breakfast. Subjects who had meals irregularly consumed significantly less fat iron calcium vitamin A, and riboflavin. A and riboflavin and niacin than those who skipped it.

감정노동이 직무소진과 고객지향성에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 -온라인쇼핑몰 콜센터 상담사를 중심으로- (An Empirical Study on the Effects of Emotional Labor on Job Burnout and Customer Orientation -Focused on Online Shopping Mall Call Center Counselor-)

  • 본 연구에서는 온라인쇼핑몰 콜센터 상담사의 감정노동이 고객지향성에 미치는 영향을 검증하고 직무소진의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구대상은 온라인쇼핑몰을 운영하는 4개 회사의 콜센터 상담사를 대상으로 하였으며 271부를 최종 자료 분석에 사용하였고 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감정노동의 하위요소인 내면행동은 고객지향성에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 감정노동의 내면행동은 비인격화와 개인성취감 저하에 부(-)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 표면행동은 감정고갈과 비인격화에 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 감정노동의 내면행동은 직무소진의 하위요인인 비인격화와 개인성취감 저하를 경유하여 고객지향성을 높이는 것으로 나타났으며 표면행동은 비인격화에 의해 매개되어 고객지향성을 낮추는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 고객지향성의 제고를 위해서는 내면행동은 높이고 직무소진을 낮출 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 직무소진의 역할과 매개효과를 검증하였다는 데에 그 의의가 있다.

On the Handling of Node Failures: Energy-Efficient Job Allocation Algorithm for Real-time Sensor Networks

  • Wireless sensor networks are usually characterized by dense deployment of energy constrained nodes. Due to the usage of a large number of sensor nodes in uncontrolled hostile or harsh environments, node failure is a common event in these systems. Another common reason for node failure is the exhaustion of their energy resources and node inactivation. Such failures can have adverse effects on the quality of the real-time services in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). To avoid such degradations, it is necessary that the failures be recovered in a proper manner to sustain network operation. In this paper we present a dynamic Energy efficient Real-Time Job Allocation (ERTJA) algorithm for handling node failures in a cluster of sensor nodes with the consideration of communication energy and time overheads besides the nodes' characteristics. ERTJA relies on the computation power of cluster members for handling a node failure. It also tries to minimize the energy consumption of the cluster by minimum activation of the sleeping nodes. The resulting system can then guarantee the Quality of Service (QoS) of the cluster application. Further, when the number of sleeping nodes is limited, the proposed algorithm uses the idle times of the active nodes to engage a graceful QoS degradation in the cluster. Simulation results show significant performance improvements of ERTJA in terms of the energy conservation and the probability of meeting deadlines compared with the other studied algorithms.

일부 개업의의 우울 및 Burnout 정도의 관련요인 (The Degree and Related Factors of the Depression and Burnout among Private Practice Physicians)

  • In order to investigate the prevalence and the factors related to the depression and burnout among private practice physicians, a SDS(self-rating depression scale) and MBI(Maslach burnout inventory) -based questionnaire study was performed on 344 private practice physicians in Kwangju and Chonnam area. The results were summarized as follows. 1. Mean SDS score was 38.3 in total subjects and the prevalence rate of depression was 48.8%. As for the frequency order of the items of the SDS, decreased libido, diurnal variation and hopelessness were relatively high, and suicidal rumination, constipation and agitation were noted low. 2. Noticeable factors related with depression were smoking, coffee use, sleeping time and satisfaction with income. 3. As a result a factor analysis with the MBI data, five factors named as emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal accomplishment, involvement and self-interest were extracted. Statistical analysis of the data demonstrated that 48.8% of the physician sample reported high scores on emotional exhaustion, and 45.3% scored high on depersonalization. Personal accomplishment scores remained high with 45.3% reporting high personal accomplishment. 4. Variables related to the burnout were age, sleeping time, family size religion, medical speciality, duration of practice setting, visiting patient number, closing day per month and job satisfaction. 5. In the relationship with depression, burnout was closely related to depression. Above results showed that the high percentage of private practice physicians experiencing depression and burnout suggests the need for further research to establish trends, to identify causal factors, and to develop avenues to reduce stress.

신임공무원의 성격특성이 학업소진에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Personality Characteristics of A New Public Official on Academic Burnout)

  • 공무원은 국민의 봉사자로서 국민의 안전은 경찰이 담당하고 있다. 특히 3면이 바다인 우리나라의 해양 안전은 매우 중요하다. 해양이라는 특수성과 위험성으로 인해 해양경찰의 교육은 매우 중요한 요소이다. 특히 신임 교육과정은 재직하는 동안 직무와 연결되기 때문에 교육 성과와 관련이 있는 요소는 더욱 중요하다. 이 연구에서는 신임해양경찰공무원 200명을 대상으로 성격특성과 학업소진의 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 성격특성 5요인 중 신체적 고갈에 영향을 미친 요인은 외향성 요인, 신경성 요인, 정서적 고갈에 영향을 미친 요인은 외향성 요인, 신경성, 냉소주의에 영향을 미친 요인은 신경성과 개방성 요인, 성취감 저하에 영향을 미친 요인은 외향성 요인, 신경성 요인, 성실성 요인이었다. 특히 학업소진에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 성격특성 5요인은 신경성으로 나타났다. 신임해양경찰공무원의 교육적 만족과 효과를 위해서는 신임해양경찰공무원의 심리적 여유와 스트레스 최소화 방안이 필요하다.

사회복지사직에 대한 사회복지학과 학생의 인식유형 (Analysis of Cognition Pattern of a College Student's Occupational View on Social Welfare Position)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지학과 4학년생이 인식하는 사회복지사직에 관한 인식유형 연구이다. 본 연구의 목적은 사회복지사직을 준비하는 학생들의 교육에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 본 연구에서는 Q방법을 적용하여, 경상남도와 경상북도 4년제 대학교 사회복지학과 학생 30명을 대상으로 사회복지사직에 대한 주관적인 반응을 객관적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 사회복지학과 4학년 학생들의 사회복지사직에 대한 직업관 인식유형은 세 가지로 유형화될 수 있었다. 제 1 유형은 '직무비관적 현실회피형'으로 사회복지사직을 직무소진이 많고 업무량이 높다고 인식하며, 사회복지사직의 의미나 소명에 대해 비관적이다. 제 2유형은 '실천중심적 전문직추구형'으로 사회복지사직의 실천적인 측면을 중요시 여기며 전문직으로서의 사회복지사직을 추구하는 동시에 이를 위한 정책이나 제도에 의존하는 입장이다. 제 3 유형은 '가치지향적 자아실현형'으로 사회복지실천에 있어서 가치나 윤리의 필요성을 중시하며, 사회복지사직을 통한 자아실현을 중요하게 인식한다. 전체적으로 보아 사회복지학과 4학년 학생들의 사회복지사직에 대한 인식이 긍정적이지 못하며, 자아실현이나 전문직으로서의 자부심이 약한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통하여 볼 때 사회복지사직의 가치에 대한 교육이 더 필요하다고 본다.
