This thesis is aimed to suggest the efficiency at the education space for job-rehabilitation through grasping the characteristics of behavior and attitude of the handicapped and analyzing their loaming behavior as an employment promotion for the disabled. For that purpose, the demand of the handicapped and some overlooked space problems we searched by survey, interview, observation and investigation to offer basic data for interior design planning. It resulted firstly that the inconvenience of narrow space was pointed out in many responses implying users suffer from the stress and inconvenience caused by an unconsidered space planning to their behavior. And secondly further difficulties are added when medical appliances for the disabled are not appropriate to common furniture. Finally, without identification of the behavior and attitude of the handicapped the minimum or optimum space needed for them could not be suggested and it may cause to decrease the efficiency in their learning.
Spatial perception and spatial structure that focus on psychological effects produce a real force through the medium of space that can control human actions, even their psychology. The job of understanding the characteristics and effects of architectural spaces that recognize the relationship between architecture and human beings, including the psychological dimension, is an alternative search for quality spaces that can increase the mutual relationship between space and human beings. This paper introduces two propositions called "space" and "psychology" in order to discover a meta-pattern connecting space and the human mind with the aim of systematizing that internal network and establishing a new architectural system concerning space and human beings. This paper also proposes a method of accessing physical spaces that can affect psychological states through a conceptual substitution called "extension," with the aim of discovering the implications inherent in such extensive relationships and proposing a methodology of organizing psychological spaces based on the characteristics of that extensive connection. The means of extensively connecting psychological spaces were classified into the three categories of memory system, sensory system, and motor system, and their corresponding extensive connection characteristics called "simultaneous relativity," "non-mediated immediacy," and "purification process" were also derived. These characteristics accelerate the changes in psychological intensity and function as principles that organize psychological space.
Purpose As non-face-to-face work environments become common due to COVID-19, interest in online collaboration tools that can communicate smoothly without time and space limitations is continuously increasing. Most of the prior studies are about the introduction, use intention, and satisfaction of cloud computing-based collaboration tools, and studies on the effects of collaboration tools on work-life balance and quality of life are somewhat lacking. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of cloud computing-based collaboration tools were derived, and the effect on job satisfaction during work and job stress outside of working hours was confirmed. Design/methodology/approach This study applied the S-O-R framework and conducted an online survey of office workers who used cloud computing-based collaboration tools for more than three months. Hypotheses were tested using structural equations. Findings As a result of the analysis, among the characteristics of collaboration tools, stability, usefulness, and interoperability had higher job satisfaction as more stimuli were applied. In addition, the higher the job satisfaction during work, the higher the job performance, work-life balance, and quality of life.
Purpose: This study is conducted to evaluate the job stressors for dental technicians in Ulsan city. Methods: The Korean standard job stressors assessment tool developed by Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) was used to compare the survey result with Korean reference value. The questionnaire on the social, demographic and job characteristics of dental technicians was also used to find the factors affecting to job stressors by using multiple linear regression analysis. Results: A total of 155 questionnaire was collected from 2010 to 2011. Among the eight fields of stressors, the physical environment (men 50.0, women; 58.3) and job demands (men 57.1, women 57.1) were higher than the median value of the Korean Workers. By multiple linear regression analysis, the significant factors to the physical environment were the satisfaction degree of indoor odor, number of employee, duty and working hours. In terms of the job demand, duty, working hours, age, and the satisfaction to the efficiency of space utilization were significantly associated to the score of job demand. Conclusion: Based on these results, it is necessary to manage appropriate workload, control indoor odor and design an efficient work space for prevention of job stress of dental technicians.
Considering the online idea generation, or web-storming, system would be used differently by space designers depending on their job characteristics, the present study tested the usability of web-storming using a factor correlation table with a designer group in the field. Then, for analyses, the results were compared with the previous findings on the usability of web-storming in a design administrator group to suggest comprehensive measures applicable to web-storming. The questionnaire results were analysed following a process of observation-interpretation-application, and the space design process and web-storming function factors were also analysed based on a factor correlation table. The analyses found that the most correlated space design process in both administrator and designer groups was the schematic design phase, and that the correlation started to lower upon division of labour. The assessment phase was found significantly different between the designer group and the administrator group. The assessment phase showed the second highest correlation in the designer group. In terms of the aspects related to project operation, the correlation was found higher in the designer group. Based on the findings, new applicable measures to each phase of web-storming were derived and summed up to suggest how to take advantage of web-storming in the field.
This study suggests the basic data required in setting up the standard for the architectural planning of Korean senior center by analyzing the standard and current situation of a senior center in Japan that has the welfare facility system similar to that of Korea and understanding its architectural characteristics. 1) Basic spaces that constitute the senior center in Japan are meeting room, lecture room, library, multipurpose meeting room, conference room, game-recreation room, kitchen, lounge, locker room and office. ADL, kitchen, relaxing room, private bathroom, and special bathroom are needed for adult day care as establishments as an annex and work room is also required for Job training. 2) The area of a senior center is calculated in consideration of its space organization that are required as basic. For the type "A", minimum area of 1,256.42 $m^2$2 and maximum area of 2,050.56$m^2$ and for the type "B", minimum area of 812000$m^2$ and maximum area of 1,604.14$m^2$ are suggested as optimum areas. 3) The circulation planning is presented by the connected between the space organization as well as the circulation system in day care center.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to identify team commitment affecting employees' innovative activities and factors affecting team commitment including empowerment by leaders and job enrichment factors. In other words, so as to explain outcome variables of innovative activities, this study aims to emphasize employees' attachment roles towards their groups within nomological network, and identify the motives encouraging employees' innovative activities. The research purpose is significant due to the realistic situation of hotel industry. The reason why innovative activities are important can be found in recent changes of business environment. Also, unlike other various studies on precedence factors encouraging employees' innovative activities, this study classified those precedence factors into job and leader characteristics, and it emphasized the importance of team commitment as the process that job and leader characteristics are connected to innovative activities. Research design, data and methodology - The survey for this study was conducted during October 6th ~ November 10th in 2014 to the employees who are working in 5-star hotels in Korea. As for the selection of hotels and sampling method, convenience sampling method was used to the employees in 5-star hotels. Self-report method was used in the survey, judging that the employees' characteristics would be relatively homogeneous. 311 questionnaires were distributed in total, and 275 reponses were collected. After excluding the missing and unreliable responses, 245 questionnaires were used in the research. SPSS and AMOS programs were used for the analysis. Results - First, empowering leadership had positive effects on hotel employees' team commitment. It indicates that hotel employees are more committed to their team when their leaders set examples, provide information, and involve employees in decision-making process. Second, as a result of the relationship analysis in task diversity, task significance, task identity and team commitment, task diversity and task significance had significant effect on team commitment, while task identity had no significant effect on team commitment. It indicates that team commitment is enhanced when the employees can conduct diverse types of jobs and get more opportunities to talk with the guests. Also, the repetition for the same jobs in hotel rooms and the space for preparing food and beverage do not lead to team commitment, even though the employees fulfill their duties to the end. Third, hotel employees' team commitment has positive effect on their innovative activities. It indicates that employees voluntarily conduct innovative activities when they are attached to their team and identifies themselves with the team. Conclusions - There are theoretical and practical implications in this study. First, in terms of the theoretical perspective, this study proposes structural framework in team commitment, and it identifies the psychological mechanism in team commitment from the aspect of social exchange, which resulted in identification of precedence factors related to team commitment. In addition, this study presents new possibilities for relevant studies about team commitment by examining the effect on team commitment when the importance of innovative activities is emphasized in recent business environment.
Today, people are bombarded with information, high-technology and multimedia. With that in mind, museum can no longer attract visitor with traditional concept, so it must find some solution or stimulation to attract their attention back. New museum is becoming a experimental space for new culture, new education, and most of all a place to fulfill one's satisfaction of life. Over the past centuries, Guggenheim Foundation has done a great job in providing place for art and place to get emotional stimulation. Out of all of their museums, Frank L. Wright's Solomon R. Guggenheim in New York and frank O. Gehry's Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao had most unique character yet share similar feature to be recognized as the architectural landmark of the 20th & 21st century Although there are close to 50 years of gap between two museums, their unique, attractive, site-specific, emotional value comes from the two most innovative architect of the past and present century. For Wright the Guggenheim was his last project but it had one of the greatest impact on his career and for Gehry the museum gave him confidence that anything is possible. This study will focus on the spatial organization as well as the architectural formation of both museum to compare and analyze. The goal of the research is to give fundamental data which will reveal emotional elements as well as concepts from each work. The content of this research will mainly focused on their architectural philosophy and it will reveal their concept on human emotion as well as the characteristics of the spatial organization. The result of the study will be a valuable reference for people designing art & cultural facilities in the future.

In modern society, people will obtain the necessary goods and find meaning of himself and his community through jobs. The meaning of job for people with disabilities is identical with people's with non-disabilities and people with disabilities will live as a member of society through jobs. Because people with hearing impairment have a problem about job such as the short longevity and high turnover, vocational aptitude test which evaluates psychological characteristics, aptitudes and interests is necessary for them. In this paper, we design and evaluate the picture vocational interest inventory supporting the Internet as a vocational aptitude test for people with hearing impairment. We use the picture vocational interest inventory of Korean Employment Development Institute as a implementation target. The previous tests for people with hearing impairment have a problem which an examinee, an examiner and a sign language interpreter are involved in the test at the same space and time. Therefore, our picture vocational interest inventory has no limitation of time and space because it processes on the Internet.
$21^{st}$ century post digital society orients co-existence, fusion, and blurring boundary than conflict, differentiation, and boundary, and makes a try liberal combination of various different objects. Furthermore, radical development of science and digital equipments offer technical possibility that could combine various fields. Hence, many different departments demolish their boundary, and combine for development of multi-functional and complex shape's products. For job-nomads, fashion attempts to combine with architecture, furniture, daily necessities, and digital equipments spontaneously. This paper aims at consideration about the blurring phenomena expressed in complex fashion space of $21^{st}$ century throughout empirical fashion photographs analysis, which show combination among fashion and various different fields. Blurring boundary phenomena of complex fashion space are classified with 4 parts as follows as: 1) furniturizing, 2) wearable dwelling, 3) lumiduct, 4) becoming fashion. Each parts are examined 8 aesthetical characteristics such as movement and lightness, hyper-link and openness, immateriality and inter-activeness, and diversity and ambiguity. $21^{st}$ century fashion has changed more simple and light, and creates new form throughout combination with many other fields, and enlarges its function and sphere. I think this paper would help certificating practical use of fashion space as multiple and complex space, and makes contribution to forecast about fashion development of the future and offer inspiration about creative and innovative fashion design.
