Study of Spin Jig Development for Cleaning of the PCB component (PCB기판 세척용 스핀 지그개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined PCB component cleaning on a PCB component surface, which has defects of precipitation type washing (existing rinse method), sealant and foreign material formed in the adhesive process that could not be removed easily. The spin jig was developed for PCB component cleaning, in which the PCB component settled down, to solve the conventional problem of the removal of foreign material with the centrifugal force by high speed rotation. The results are as follows. With decreasing fraction defect in PCB component washing, the development and substrate damage decreased by more than 80% according to the abstergent in the rotary type using the centrifugal force in the existing precipitation type. When the base plate showed a large difference with the time to include the process after washing the design using the existing method, easy attachment and separation of the PCB component could be possible. The washing time was enhanced 90% compared to the existing time. The reliability of the security and washing collaboration of the design and stability of the cleaning process could be secured so that there was no phenomenon of secession, the PCB component fixed for a cleansing rotation jig could maintain a fixed force by the centrifugal force. The stability and reliability of the washing process and the defective rate could be improved to less than 1%.

  • The molybdenum cup and molybdenum pin, which are the main materials of the molybdenum electrode used for the LCD BLU CCFL electrode, have not been developed in Japan and all of them are imported and used from Japan, is giving a competitive burden. In this research, to develop the manufacturing technology of molybdenum pin used for CCFL electrode of LCD BLU, development of linear processing technology, development of molybdenum wire surface treatment technology, development of wire cutting technology, production of molybdenum pin, design and fabrication of JIG and Fixture for inspection, molybdenum pin prototyping and analysis, and development of 100% molybdenum pin inspection technology.   • The Compact Airborne Imaging Spectrometer System (CAISS) was jointly designed and developed as the hyperspectral imaging system by Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and ELOP inc., Israel. The primary mission of the CAISS is to acquire and provide full contiguous spectral information with high quality spectral and high spatial resolution for advanced applications in the field of remote sensing. The CAISS consists of six physical units; the camera system, the gyro-stabilized mount, the jig, the GPS/INS, the power inverter and distributor, and the operating system. These subsystems shall be tested and verified in the laboratory before the flight. Especially the camera system of the CAISS shall be calibrated and validated with the calibration equipments such as the integrated sphere and spectral lamps. To improve data quality and availability, it is the most important to understand the mechanism of hyperspectral imaging system and the radiometric and spectral characteristics. This paper presents the major characteristics of camera system on the CAISS and summarizes the results of radiometric and spectral experiment during preliminary system verification.

  • In the current machining industry, machining precision is necessary and machining is being carried out. In this ultra-precision machining industry, the fixation of the workpiece is very important and the degree of machining depends on the degree of fixation of the workpiece. In ultra-precision machining, various methods, such as using a vise chuck or the like and using bolt nut coupling, are used for fixing a workpiece to an existing machine tool. In particular, when the precision gripping force of the jig is insufficient during machining of the ultra-precision mold parts, the machining material shakes due to the vibration or friction, and the machining precision is lowered. In the ultra-precision machining of power transmission parts, such as gears, the accuracy of the product is then determined. In addition, the amount of heat generated during machining has a significant effect on the machining accuracy. This is because the vibration value changes according to the grasp force of the jig that fixes the workpiece, and the change in the calorific value due to the change in the main shaft rotation speed of the ultra-precision machining. The increase in the spindle rotation speed during machining decreased the heat generation during machining, and the machining accuracy was also good, and it was confirmed that the machining heat changed according to the fixed state of the workpiece and the machining accuracy also changed. In this study, we try to optimize the driving part of the power vise by using structural analysis, rather than the power vise, using the basic mechanical-type power unit.

  • In most multi-stage forging processes, the die spotting process or alignment of punch and die depends on the manual operation. It results a very tedious and inefficient procedure, thus the proper measurement system is needed to improve productivity and accuracy. This paper proposes a measurement system for alignment of die and punch which has a cylindrical holder, and describes the system concepts using 3 eddy-current displacement transducers and precise measurement jig. In order to apply this measurement system to real situations, the measuring procedures and system calibration method, etc. are proposed. Finally, the accuracy and productivity of this measurement system are investigated in this paper.

  • 본 연구에서는 실제 사용되고 있는 TDX-10 교환기의 subrack과 보드에 대한 진동 특성과 이 보드가 subrack에 실장되었을 때 진동 특성을 연구하였으며, subrack이 rack에 실장되는 조건을 갖는 진동 시험용 jig를 제작하여 보드와 subrack을 실장한 후 강제 진동시의 진동 전달 특성을 알아보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 내진동 특성이 우수한 전자통신 시스템 설계와 CDMA 이동통신 시스템의 HINA subrack 구조설계와 같은 개발장비 환경시험의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Conditions for manipulation of object with multiple contacts by intelligent Jig system

  • A manipulation of a multiple contacted object by a Rotational Base and Single-jointed Finger mechanism(RBSF mechanism) is discussed. The manipulation is characterized by multiple contacts on an object and large motions of the object with sliding contacts. The kinematics and dynamics allowing sliding at multiple contacts are explored. The conditions for manipulation of an object at multiple contacts by the RBSF mechanism, which cannot exert arbitrary contact forces because it has a fewer number of joints than is required for active control, is presented.

  • The In solar power system, the height and azimuth of the sun are important parameters which control generated power magnitude. The tracking method that controls the daily generation magnitude according to latitude and longitude using the two axles is often used in the existing sunlight tracking system today. In this two-axle PV track control system, the self-load is concentrated on one FRAME. It is influenced of the regular load, snow load and the wind load, etc. It is difficult to set up the system in the conventional building. This research is a development about the small-scale economy track device of independent load-dispersing solar generation system. The position tracking algorithm is through new coordinates transformation calculating the height and azimuth of the sun.

  • Presented in this paper is a prototype of dedicated CAM system for a human bust, not a relief, machining. The input of this system is a STL file which comes from measuring machine, and the output is machining data for a 3-axis CNC milling machine with an index table. The system consists of three main modules, which are shape import and transformation, modeling of jig and fixture, and calculation of machining area. Proposed system architecture and the main modules are briefly described. To get machining region for semi-finish and finish machining stages, two concepts of machining area, machinable and scannable, were tried. Machinable area was suitable for the purpose.

  • In this paper, we propose an architecture of the DNC system for Shop Floor Control/Point of Production(SFC/POP). The DNC system to be presented this paper retrieves line-up sheets which include the drawing information, making a index database for line-up sheets, NC programs and tool adjustment data. And it is interface with a raw material, jig and tool information. Also, the DNC system transmits operation information to real workers rapidly, and supports realtime monitoring by collecting the state information of machines directly. In the analysis and design phases, this paper models realtime events using the state transition diagrams. In the implementation phase, we use the ORACLE DBMS(Database Management System) as the DBMS and Developer 2000 and Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0 as the programming tools.
