It has preserved the ancient note large, rich notes, annotation methods, which have a greater impact on historical research. In collating, "San-Jia-Zhu" not only for 's error correction, and the comprehensive use of various methods of collation in collating process. First, he paid attention to the contrast between different versions very much, to determine the word errors using the similarities and differences between different versions of the diffracted off. This draft is $\ll$Shiji${\gg}$ from ancient Chinese research methods to explore the characters, phonology, syntax, exegesis, collation of historical value.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to know the characteristics of Skin Resistance Variability(SRV) in the traffic accident patients prescribed Dangkisoo-san(Dangguixu-san). Methods : 65 traffic accident patients were selected from those who took the Skin Resistance Variability(SRV) test in Oriental Medical Hospital of Sang-Ji University from March 2007 to January 2008. The traffic accident patients were prescribed Dangkisoo-san(Dangguixu-san). Mean values of factor AA on skin resistance variability of the traffic accident patients were analyzed. Results and Conclusions : The mean values of electrodermal activity of preexamination was higher than those of postexamination in all areas except 3 area in 2nd measurement. In most cases, the gap of electrodermal activity between preexamination and postexamination within the female group was higher than those of the male group. In most cases, the gap of electrodermal activity between preexamination and postexamination within the more than 21 days group was higher than those of the 20days and less group. In most cases, the gap of electrodermal activity between preexamination and postexamination within the 36 years old group was higher than those of the 35years old and less group. Dangkisoo-san(Dangguixu-san) will be more effective for acute and strong traffic accident patients than chronic and weak traffic accident patients. So, further studies will be needed.
Crude drug 'SanJagYag' has been used mainly as a pleurisy, abdominal pain, female disease and gastropathy. To clarify the botanical origin of SanJagYag from Korea, the anatomical characteristics of Paeonia japonica, Paeonia lactiflora and Paeonia obovata of Paeoniaceae were studied. As a result, it was clarified that SanJagYag was the root of Paeonia obovata.
Although inflammatory mediators such as nitric oxide(NO) and pro-inflammatory cytokines are involved in host defense mechanism, these overproduction contributes to the pathogenesis of several diseases such as otitis media, hearing loss, periodontitis, bacterial sepsis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases. We investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of water extract from Ji-Pae-San(JPSWE) fomulated with Angelica dahurica plus Fritillaria Verticillata, Angelica dahurica(ADWE), and Fritillaria Verticillata(FUVE) in vitro and in vivo. Each extract inhibited the production of inflammatory mediators(NO, $IL-1{\beta}$, IL-6, $TNF-{\alpha}$, and prostaglandin $E_2$) and the expression of inducible NO synthase(iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) in lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages in a dose-dependent manner. These inhibitory effects were synergistically increased by their combination. JPSWE also inhibited $TNF-{\alpha}$, $IL-1{\beta}$, IL-6. and $PGE_2$ production as well as COX activity in LPS-stimulated mice. Moreover, JPSWE significantly suppressed death by LPS-septic shock in mice(survival rate: 100%). These results suggest that Ji-Pae-San may be useful for therapeutic drugs against inflammatory immune diseases, probably by suppressing the production of inflammatory mediators.
Objectives : This study was carried out to compare the effects of Eejin-tang, Hyangsaeejin-tang and Naeso-san extracts on indomethacin-induced gastric mucosal lesions in mice. Methods : Experimental mice were divided into six groups. The normal group had no gastro-inflammation. In the control group, gastro-inflammation was elicited by indomethacin. Misoprostol, Eejin-tang, Hyangsaeejin-tang and Naeso-san group were those in which misoprostol, Eejin-tang extract, Hyangsaeejin-tang extract and Naeso-san extract were administered after gastro-inflammation is elicited. This study examined the anti-inflammation effects and distribution of mucus secreting cells, zonula occludin-1 (ZO-1), heat shock protein (HSP) 70, periodic acid-schiff reaction stain (PAS), peanut agglutinin (PNA), cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), 5-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine (BrdU), nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-${\kappa}B$) p65, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). Results : 1. The hemorrhagic erosion and damaged mucus secreting cell, the positive reaction HSP70 increased in the control group, but decreased in the Eejin-tang, Hyangsaeejin-tang and Naeso-san groups. 2. The positive reaction of ZO-1, PAS, PNA, COX-1 and BrdU decreased in the control group, but increased in the Eejin-tang, Hyangsaeejin-tang and Naeso-san groups. 3. The positive reaction of NF-${\kappa}B$ p65, iNOS and COX-2 increased in the control group, but decreased in the Eejin-tang, Hyangsaeejin-tang and Naeso-san groups. Conclusions : Among the three extracts, the effects were in the order of Naeso-san, Hyangsaeejin-tang and Eejin-tang group, Naeso-san being the most effective.
Objective: : This clinical study reports on the effect of Sunghyangjungki-san-gami and Banhabaeckchulchunma-tang-gami on hemiplegia, dizziness, and hiccupping caused by pontine infarction. Methods: This study was performed on one patient with hemiplegia, dizziness, and hiccupping caused by pontine infarction. The patient was treated by Sunghyangjungki-san-gami and Banhabaeckchulchunma-tang-gami from 6 January to 2 March 2015. The National Institutes of Health stroke scale (NIHSS), motor grade, and numerical rating scale (NRS) were used to assess the effectiveness of this treatment. Results: After treatment, the patient’s discomfort decreased significantly, and NIHSS, motor grade, and NRS scores were all improved. Conclusion: This clinical study suggests that traditional Korean medicine may be effective in treating hemiplegia, dizziness, and hiccupping caused by pontine infarction.

Objectives: This case report presents the effects of Korean medical treatment in a patient with chest pain after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: An 80-year-old woman was treated with Korean herbal medicine, acupuncture, and cupping therapy. Chest pain, sore tongue, and headache were assessed daily using a numeric rating scale (NRS). Results: After 15 days of treatment, chest pain disappeared, as reflected by an NRS change from 9 to 0, and headache was relieved (NRS decreased from 9 to 2). On the eighth day of treatment, the sore tongue was also relieved, as reflected by an NRS change from 9 to 0. Conclusion: These results show that chest pain after PCI can be relieved with Korean medical treatment, and it is expected that major adverse cardiac events (MACEs) may be prevented with Korean medical treatment. However, additional well-designed studies are required to confirm these findings.
Objective : This study investigated the clinical characteristics with Tongdo-san on injured patients focused on traffic accidents cases. Methods : 108 injured patients diagnosed with stagnation of Qi and stagnated blood(氣滯瘀血) were treated with Tongdo-san, acupuncture, cupping, physical therapy, Su-Gi therapy. The degree of Martins AN was checked to observe the change after using Tongdo-san. Results : Evaluation grades of of patients treated with Tongdo-san were all improved. The shorter the period of morbidity and the lower the age, the better the elevation. The degree of elevation is more significant in women traffic accidents patients. Conclusions: According to the study, Tongdo-san might especially effective for women traffic accidents patients with short period of morbidity and lower age.
