유기농 시설하우스 토양에서 유박 시용이 토양특성 및 다채 생육에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Expeller Cake Fertilizer on Soil Properties and Tah Tasai Chinese Cabbage Yield in Organic Greenhouse Farm)

  • 다채 유기농 재배를 위한 유기질비료 유박의 적정시용기준을 마련하고자 시설하우스에서 유박비료를 질소성분량 70 kg/ha(ECF 100)을 기준으로 35(ECF 50), 52.5(ECF 75), 105(ECF 150) kg/ha 수준으로 처리하여 토양환경, 다채 생육 및 수량특성을 조사하였다. 시험 후 토양 pH는 유박 시용전에 비해 낮아졌으며, 유박 시용량에 따른 pH는 5.8~6.0 범위로 차이는 없었다. EC는 2.24~3.09 dS/m, 인산은 484~587 mg/kg로 유박 시용량이 증가할수록 증가하는 경향이었으며, Ca, Mg 등의 양이온도 증가하였으나 유의성은 없었다. 호기성 세균과 방선균, Dehydrogenase 활성은 각각 $22.5{\sim}29.1{\times}10^6$, $22.3{\sim}28.5{\times}10^4$ CFU soil/g, 22.1~25.1 mg/kg 범위이며, 사상균도 시용량에 따라 $33.4{\sim}39.1{\times}10^4$ CFU soil/g 이었으나 유의성은 없었다. 수확기 다채 잎의 T-N은 62.2~66.5 g/kg, K는 44.3~48.7 g/kg, Ca는 5.1~5.9 g/kg, P는 5.9~6.2 g/kg 범위였다. 유박비료의 질소이용율은 39.4~51.6% 이었으며, 유박비료 시용량이 많을수록 질소이용율은 적어지는 경향이었다. 다채의 수량은 유박비료 시용량에 따라 12,431~12,730 kg/ha 범위로 유박비료 시용량이 증가해도 수량증수는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 다채 재배시 최고 수량보다는 경제적이고 친환경적인 양분관리가 필요한데, 본 시험에서는 질소 42 kg/ha 시비량으로 최고수량의 95% 수준인 12,396 kg/ha 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Two new species of litter-inhabiting leptonetid spiders in mountainous region from Korea are described: Leptoneta chilbosanensis sp. nov. from Mt. Chilbosan, Gyeonggi-do, and Leptoneta naejangsanensis sp. nov. from Mt. Naejangsan, Jeollabuk-do from Korea.

  • Recent herbarium reexamination and field studies yielded two monocotyledonous plant taxa of the family Poaceae that could be documented in the national inventory list of species of Korea. These species, collected from Jeollabuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do, were introduced and naturalized in Korea. Two species were identified as Holcus mollis L. and Aira elegantissima Schur. We provided the descriptions and descriptive photos of these species. Keys to the newly recorded species and related taxa were also provided.

Enhancement of Seed Germination and Uniformity in Triploid Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus (Thunb.) Matsum. and Nakai)

  • One of the main factors restricting production of triploid seedless watermelon is poor germination due to weak embryos, thick seed coats, and larger air spaces. This study was carried out to investigate the priming effects of different concentrations of chemicals, including hydrogen peroxide ($H_2O_2$), fusicoccin, and gibberellic acid (GA) on germination and seedling uniformity of triploid watermelon (Citrullus lanatus). Three commercial triploid cultivars, Seedless Plus, Sinus, and Sizero, were pretreated with water and different levels of $H_2O_2$ (2 and 4%), fusicoccin (FC: 1, 5, and $10{\mu}M$), and GA (1, 5, and $10{\mu}M$). The present findings helped to find optimal priming conditions for improving germination of triploid watermelon. Treatment with $5{\mu}M$ GA and hydropriming helped to break seed dormancy, enhancing the final germination percentages in all triploid cultivars and increasing the germination index in Sizero. These seed-priming treatments could be used on large scale for industrial applications. Moreover, hydropriming provides a simple, effective, and costless method to improve seed germination and seedling vigor of Sinus and Sizero varieties.

고온적응성 목이버섯 「현유」 육성 및 특성 (Characteristics and breeding of a thermotolerant ear mushroom, Auricularia auricula-judae 'Hyeonyu')

  • 목이버섯의 고온적응성이 우수한 '현유'의 주요특성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 균사생장적온은 $25^{\circ}C$이고 버섯발생 및 생육온도역시 $26{\sim}36^{\circ}C$로 고온성을 나타내었다. 배양기간은 40~42일, 초발이소요일수는 27일, 생육기간은 15일로 총재배기간은 82~84일이 소요되었다. 갓크기는 56.8 mm이며, 수량은 1 kg배지에서 350 g을 나타내었다. DNA다형성을 분석한 결과 OPA1, OPA7등의 primer에서 개발품종과 중국유래품종 그리고 대조구와 뚜렷한 품종간 밴드차이를 보였다.

  • The purpose of this study is the impact of the typhoon damage to housing and facilities in rural areas. House of damage, as well as the only including damage of facilities in rural areas, particularly greenhouse(Glass greenhouse, Plastic greenhouse, Vinyl greenhouse) leads to damage of crops the scale of the damage increases. In this study, focused on Jeollabuk-do area, accompanying him, the number of gale damage and evaluate the extent of the damage to the typhoon. And aims to provide basic data for the rural areas of strong winds and typhoons preparedness and facility design based on the results. Judging from the results of the analysis of natural disasters caused by typhoons and strong winds, the city formed mainly in the area than in the plains or coastal rural areas compared to other areas more damage can appear. In recent years, many design maximum wind speed of 40m/s wind over because disaster type, even if the standard installation, preferably determined through a precise structural analysis to ensure the structural history of acting urgently.

가법형 통합지수 산정모형을 이용한 주관적 농촌경관 평가 : 전북 고창선동권역을 대상으로 (Evaluating Subjective Landscape of Rural Region Using Additive Integration Index Calculation Model Focused on Seondong Region, Gochang-Gun, Jeollabuk-Do, Korea)

  • This study has intended to evaluate the subjective landscape of rural region using additive integration index calculation model in Seondong region, Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, Korea. This study consists of the following three steps. First, this study defmed the rural landscape using survey and developed the estimating equation for rural landscape assessment index. Second, this study set up assessment units and assessment indicators, then estimated mean of representative landscape adjectives in accordance with them through residents-participatory evaluation. Third, this study calculated rural landscape assessment index using additive integration index calculation model, and evaluated subjective landscape of rural region in accordance with space types and landscape fields through mapping methodology. The results of this study can be described as follows: 1) satisfaction level for landscape in accordance with village (urban area and residential area) was very high; 2) satisfaction level was very high in both Ye-Jeon reservoir and Hakwon farm, representative landscape resources of the study area.

전라북도 익산 지역 대학교 기숙사 학생의 식습관 및 기숙사 급식 만족도 조사 (Studies on Dietary Habits and Residence Students' Satisfaction with University Dormitory Foodservice in Jeollabuk-do Iksan Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate eating habits and dormitory foodservices' satisfaction in university students using dormitory foodservice in the Jeollabuk-do Iksan area. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by 195 students (86 male, 109 female). Many students (58.5%) ate less than two meals per day and spent around 30 min eating meals. The results show that snack and midnight meals were the main reasons (37.9%) for unhealthy eating habits. Main source of nutritional knowledge and information were TV and the Internet (58.5%), followed by friends and people (25.1%), nutrition books (10.3%), elective courses (4.6%), and newspapers and magazines (1.5%). Men had significantly higher satisfaction scores for nutrition, taste, diversity of menu, as well as hygiene of dormitory food court compared to women (p<0.05). Salty taste was the most important factor in evaluation of taste satisfaction, whereas sour taste was opposite. The reason for taste dissatisfaction in the dormitory food court was not salty enough, and it may be related with their eating habits. The results show that students need education for adequate knowledge and information about the relationship between health and nutrition.

오디 와인 제조 및 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics and Manufacture of Mulberry Wine)

  • 오디의 부가가치 향상을 위하여 오디 가공식품을 다양화 하고자, 오디 발효주의 제조를 위한 발효균주와 과즙량, 당원, 질소원 그리고 아황산 첨가 등 적정 발효조건을 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 오디 발효주의 우수 균주는 Saccharomyces cerevisiae JBS 30과 JBS 33이었고 적정배지 조성은 과즙 $50\%$, 설탕 $24^{\circ}brix,\;Na_2SO_3\;200\;ppm$이었으며 $25^{\circ}C$에서 10일 발효하면 $11.2\%$ 알코올이 생성되었다. 관능검사 결과 두 균주 간 차이가 없이 색, 맛, 향 모두 양호하였다.

Evaluation of the Weeds around Capsicum annuum (CA) Cultivation Fields as Potential Habitats of CA-Infecting Viruses

  • Capsicum annuum (CA) is grown outdoors across fields in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. The weeds surrounding these fields were investigated regarding the infection of 11 viruses infecting CA during the year 2014-2018. In the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction diagnosis, 546 out of 821 CA samples (66.5%) were infected by nine viruses, and 190 out of 918 weed samples (20.7%) were infected by eight viruses. Correlation analysis of the mutual influence of the viruses infecting CA and weeds during these 5 years showed that five viruses had significant positive correlations with the infection in both CA and weeds. Over the study period, the weeds infected by cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) in the previous year were positively correlated with the incidence of CMV infection in CA in the current year, although the correlation was lower for tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) compared to CMV. The CMV infection percent was 14.0% in summer annuals, 11.4% in perennials, and 7.8% in winter annuals. However, considering the overwintering period without CA, the infection percent was 5.2% higher in winter annuals and perennials than that in summer annuals, indicating that winter annual and perennial weeds served as the main habitats for insect vectors. The TSWV infection percent in weeds was 10.4% in summer annuals, 6.4% in winter annuals, and 6.2% in perennials. The weeds surrounding CA fields, acting as the intermediate hosts, were found to be the potent sources of infection, influencing the spread and diversity of CA-infecting viruses. The results of this study can contribute to prevent viral infection in agricultural fields.
