This paper predicts the onion's cultivation areas, yields per unit area, and wholesale prices during ship dates by using wholesale price data from the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, the production data from the Statistics Korea, and the weather data from the Korea Meteorological Administration with an ARDL model. By analyzing the data of wholesale price, rural household income and rural total earnings, onion cultivation areas in 2015 are estimated to be 21,035, 17,774 and 20,557(ha). In addition, onion yields per unit area of South Jeolla Province, North Gyeongsang Province, South Gyeongsang Province, Jeju Island, and the whole country in 2015 are estimated to be 5,980, 6,493, 6,543, 6,614, 6,139 (kg/10a) respectively. By using onion production's predictive value found from onion's cultivation areas and yields per unit area in 2015, the onion's wholesale prices in June are estimated to be 780 won, 1,100 won, and 820 won for each model. Predicted monthly price after the onion's ship dates is analyzed to exceed 1,000 won after August.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting medical knowledge and practice of dental treatment for systemic disease among dental health care workers. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 222 dental health care workers working in Seoul, Daejeon, Busan, Gyeonggi province, Chungcheong province, and Jeolla province within the period between May 1 - June 30, 2016. Knowledge and medical knowledge about the clinical treatment of patients suffering from systemic disease and their practice were composed of items that were corrected, supplemented, and developed by themselves based on previous research. Results: Factors affecting knowledge about clinical treatment of patients suffering from systemic disease were place of employment, treatment about systemic disease, and practice of dental treatment for systemic diseases. Predictive power was 38.5%. Factors affecting practice of clinical treatment of patients suffering from systemic disease were sex, place of employment, treatment about systemic disease, the basic equipment and drugs needed for emergency care, and knowledge of dental treatment for systemic diseases. Predictive power was 39.1%. Conclusions: Dental health care workers' knowledge and practice of dental treatment of patients suffering from systemic diseases were important factors influencing each other.
This paper written by Choi Bu based on "Piaohailu". This book consists of 3 volumes and it is his travelogue; Choi Bu has departed from Jeju Island to Naju, Jeolla province in the end of 1487, but it drifted on his way, so arrived to Zhejiang Province, China(Mid-Ming Dynasty) in early 1488. The data were analyzed using descriptive $X^2-test$, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficient with SPSS win 12.0. Results: Physical symptoms of the participants correlated with trait anger and life style. Trait anger in the elderly people had a significant positive correlation to cardiovascular symptoms. Smoking showed a significantly positive correlation to alcohol drinking and cardiovascular symptoms. Regular diet showed a significantly negative correlation to general symptoms, cardiovascular symptoms and gastrointestinal symptoms. Caffeine intake significantly negative correlation to general symptom and cardiovascular symptom. Conclusion: These results suggested that elderly people with a high degree of trait anger are likely to be high in perceived physical symptoms. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of health control behaviors on the emotional happiness of the elderly. Among the survey instruments used in this study, emotional hapiness was the tool developed by Watson et al., 1978, and health control behavior was used by tools developed by Wallston et al., in 1988. Health control behaviors consist of three sub-factors: other health control behavior, accidental health control behavior, and internal health control behavior. The data collection period was collected from June 20 to July 5, 2018. A total of 152 participants were enrolled from 65 to 85 years old and were collected from six provinces of Korea (Seoul, Gangwon Province, Gyeongsang Province, Jeolla Province, Chungcheong Province, Gyeonggi Province) as much as possible. As a result of the analysis of demographic characteristics, the number of elderly people couple living was 47.4%, living alone was 21.1%, the number of people living with a couple and their children was 13.8%, the others were 10.5%. Based on the above results, 21.1% were living alone as an elderly person. And people who the highest monthly income of less than 1 million won was 36.8%, the usual meal type, 94.7% were very much eaten with vegetarianism smoking and drinking alcohol, and 94.7% did not smoke and 73.7% drank alcohol. In conclusion, Multiple regression analysis of health control behaviors on emotional happiness showed that health control behaviors had a 15% effect on emotional happiness. The following suggestions were made through the results of this study. First, the monthly income of the elderly is very low to maintain health, Second, the health of elderly people was maintained through friends and meetings. Based on these results, it should be used as a basic data for the program for the emotional happiness of the elderly.
This study is to investigate the effects of self-differentiation, marital intimacy, and marital conflict coping strategies on marital satisfaction for remarried married couples. The survey Was conducted from April 4, 2017 to April 25, 2017 for the subject remarried couples aged more then 30years living in Sooul, Gyeonggi province, chungchong province, Jeolla province and Kyeongsang province. 48 questionnaires are distributed and analyzed with SPSS WIN 21. Results of the analysis showed that the higher the level of self-differentiation of the remarried couple, the more positive influence of marital satisfaction on the emotional intimacy and sexual intimacy as the sub-factors of marital intimacy, (-), respectively. As a result of in-depth interviews, low levels of self-differentiation have negative effects on marital satisfaction and marital intimacy, resulting in a vicious cycle in marital conflict. And these results show the possibility of the unified construction of a marital satisfaction improvement program considering self-differentiation, marital intimacy, and marital conflict coping style.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the influence of spirituality and job satisfaction on the compassion competence of hospice nurses. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study of 118 hospice nurses from 16 hospitals in Daejeon, Chungcheong Province, and Jeolla Province. A self-administered survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire including the Spirituality Scale, Index of Work Satisfaction, the Compassion Competence Scale for Nurses, and general socio-demographic information. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical linear regression analysis using SPSS for Windows version 26.0. Results: Compassion competence was correlated with spirituality (r=0.66, P<0.001) and job satisfaction (r=0.52, P<0.001), and spirituality was correlated with job satisfaction (r=0.44, P<0.001). Spirituality (β=0.513, P<0.001) and job satisfaction (β=0.273, P<0.001) were significant factors affecting the compassion competence of hospice nurses, after adjusting for the sociodemographic and work-related covariates. The step-by-step results from hierarchical linear regression analysis also indicated that spirituality had a stronger impact than job satisfaction on compassion competence. Conclusion: Our findings demonstrate the importance of spirituality, which plays a role in guiding the compassion competence of hospice nurses. It is necessary to support the spirituality and job satisfaction of hospice nurses, which could facilitate their compassion competence and thereby contribute to improving the quality of hospice and palliative care.
