최근에 데이터베이스 기술에 이은 차세대 사무업무 전산화의 핵심 기술일 뿐만 아니라 CALS/EC의 핵심기술인 워크플로우 기술에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 워크플로우 기술은 사무업무의 흐름을 자동화하기 위한 일종의 운영체계 역할을 수행하는 워크플로우 관리 시스템분야와 그 워크플로우 관리 시스템의 이론적 기반일 뿐만 아니라 사무업무의 흐름 자체를 정의하고 분석하는 워크플로우 모델 분야로 나뉘어 진다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 워크플로우 모델중의 하나인 ICN (Information Control Nets) 모델을 기반으로 하는 모델링 도구의 설계 및 구혀에 관하여 기술하였다. 본 워크플로우 모델링 도구는 자바 기반의 워크플로우 정의 및 분석 환경을 제공함으로서 컴퓨터 시스템에 의존적인 기존의 모델링 도구가 갖는 단점을 개선하였으며, 또한 ICN으로 정의된 사무업무 워크플로우를 국제표준의 워크플로우 정의 언어인 WPDL(Workflow Procedure Description Language)로 변환시킴으로써 워크플로우 관리 시스템에 독립적인 워크플로우 모델링 환경을 제공하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 결론적으로, 본 ICN 모델링 도구는 사무업무 흐름과 리엔지니어링을 위한 분석 도구로서 확장될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 분석된 결과인 사무업무 프로세스를 다른 워크플로우 관리 시스템에 직접 적용할 수 있게 하는 Streamlining 워크플로우 정의 업무의 기반이 된다.

This paper proposes a searching system with a mobile agent which retrieve data from the distributed hosts. The proposed system dispatched the movable objects, so called AGLET, to the distributed hosts in order to perform a task given by a client or a server. The network of the existing system must not be disturbed during a task is performing. However our system has the strong point that a task can be performed even if the network is disconnected on the way. When the network is disconnected, the system can get the results later after the network system is connected again. Designing the system has been done by using UML(Unified Modeling Language) which is a standardized object-oriented modeling language. AGLET, a pure JAVA product of IBM, is used for the mobile agent.

This paper proposed a system collecting image information by agents in multi-threaded environment and then retrieving them with content based image retrieval. This system uses multi threads to retrieve web information effectively, then improves efficiency of CPU cycles to reduce latency time, which is the time requesting queries, executing communication processing 4hat the retrieval agents perform and filtering the retrieval results. Also, the agents for image retrieval use Java language, which is platform independent, to be suitable for distributed environment. Using JDBC to save the retrieved images, the agents are connected to database. The images themselves are stored in distributed agents' databases, and only the image indexes are stored in an index server so that the efficiency of storage and retrieval time can be improved.

In order to understand the concepts of image processing with effect, a learning system with an actual practice is necessary. As most image processing learning materials have some inconvenient respects that it is difficult to understand the processing procedure because they simply show the processed results as figures in the contents, and also, a separate practice tool is needed to operate the source codes because they provide the program source codes as a part in the context. In this paper, in order to solve above inconvenient respects, an image processing learning system that be able to improve the learning effects as accomplishing the theory studying and the actual practice in parallel is proposed. As this system is composed on the bases of java, it is independent to the platforms and it is possible to implement on the Web.

In recent, workflow technology has been spotlighted in the literature, according for e-business processes and their automations to be taken important and essential parts into account in the enterprise information processing environment, because the workflow technology ought to be an impeccable solution for automating the e-business processes. When we analyze and model e-business processes in an enterprise, it is very important to verify and validate the e-business processes before they are deployed on the real business environment. Especially, it should be very worthy for the verification and validation work to be done by a kind of graphical visualization approaches. This paper propose a business process enactment animator implemented by Java Technologies. And it supports WPDL(Workflow Process Definition Language) as well as XPDL(XML-Based Process Definition Language), both of which are the standard specification language by WfMC that is the international standardization organization for Workflow Technology.

소프트웨어 재사용 기술은 소프트웨어공학 분야의 오래된 주제로 단순한 복사 및 붙이기(copy & paste)에서 현재의 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 기술에 이르기까지 계속해서 연구되고있다. 재사용의 단위를 무엇으로 하냐에 따라 또는 소프트웨어 개발 주기 중 어느 단계의 산출물을 재사용 하느냐에 따라 다양한 개념과 기법들이 소개되었으며 실제 소프트웨어 개발에 활용되고 있다. 또한 컴퓨팅 환경의 변화에 보조를 같이하여 특정 어플리케이션을 지원하는 재사용기술 들이 등장하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹(Web) 기반의 프로그램에 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 재사용 기술을 접목하고자 한다. 수없이 많은 웹 기반 어플리케이션들이 개발되었고 또한 개발되고 있으며 다른 컴퓨팅 환경에서 운영되는 다양한 기존 시스템들도 웹 기반으로 옮겨가고 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 기 개발된 웹 프로그램에서 재사용 가능한 모듈을 컴포넌트 화하여 차후 웹 프로그램 개발 시에 재사용될 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 웹 지원 언어 중 Sun 사의 서블릿(Servlet)[1]으로 개발된 어플리케이션들을 EJB(Enterprise JavaBeans)[2] 환경으로 변환시키기 위한 기법과 이를 지원하는 도구를 소개한다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 도구는 크게 분석기, 시각화기, 추출기, 생성기, 및 전개기로 구성되며 해당 모듈에서 입력받은 서블릿을 처리하며 최종적으로 세션 빈(session bean)[2] 또는 엔터티 빈(entity bean)[2]과 같은 EJB 컴포넌트를 생성한다.

This paper presents an implementation of a live audio streaming system using the Raspberry Pi 3 embedded computer. This system is a live streaming system not file-based streaming. This is a push streaming system which converts the incoming analog audio signal to digital samples and broadcasts them to multiple connected users concurrently. Since the server software is developed in Java language, it can be installed on any other embedded computers without any modification. We concluded that ESCatcher can service live streaming about 60 users concurrently through calculations and experiments, And also we achieved the delay time of a little bit more than 40ms between arrival of audio source and play on the android device.

In this paper, android phone information push system based on the XMPP protocol is proposed. For this, we implement a XMPP(eXtensible Message and Presence Protocol) based instant message system in C/S network environment by using Java language and eclipse device. This system not only allows sending and receiving messages from the PC server to mobile phone client, but also enables the expansion into the smack package of an android phone. Thus, this system shown, in this paper has the better performance in transmission and transfer speed than those of the basic XMPP protocol system.

Java 플랫폼 기반의 스크립트 언어인 Groovy는 GroovyMarkup을 이용하여 컴포넌트 및 콘테이너, 객체가 중첩된 구조로 이루어져 있는 GUI 프로그램을 간결하고 쉽게 작성할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 GroovyMarkup을 확장해 고성능의 GUI 프로그램을 구현할 수 있는 SWT Builder를 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 구현한 SWT Builder의 성능 및 기능 평가를 위해 기존에 구현된 SWT Builder, Swing Builder와 비교하여 실험하였다. 테스트 한 결과, 구현한 SWT Builder는 GUI 구성 시간에 있어 기존 SWT Builder보다 1.4배 더 빠른 속도를 가진다. 또한 기능 부분에서는 Factory 클래스 소스 코드의 자동 생성, 클래스 기능 문서 자동 생성 등 으로 프로그래머에게 더 많은 편의성을 제공한다.

It is important to manage access control for secure ubiquitous applications. In this paper, we present an access-control system for executing policy file which includes access control rules. We implemented Context-aware Access Control Manager(CACM) based on Java Context-Awareness Framework(JCAF) which provides infrastructure and API for creating context-aware applications. CACM controls accesses to method call based on the access control rules in the policy file. We also implemented a support tool to help programmers modify incorrect access control rules using static analysis information, and a simulator for simulating ubiquitous applications. We describe simulation results for several ubiquitous applications.
