A design of reliability qualification test based on performance distribution is developed. In general, the performance of an item degrades as the time goes by and the failure of an item occurs when the performance degradation reaches the pre-determined critical level. This article considers the reliability qualification test based on a more tightened critical value at the earlier stage to reduce the evaluation testing time and cost. A numerical example is provided to illustrate how to use the developed reliability qualification test.

This study assessed the degree to which children are subjected to victimize by peers using a peer nomination scale and self-report. The subjects were 122 children in the fourth through sixth grades. About 7% were identified as extremely victimized group. Age and gender were not related with victimization scores. The inter-item correlations and item-total correlations of the peer nomination were high. The correlation of victimization scores measured by peer nomination and self report was significant. Children's victimization scores were not correlated with their aggression scores, which means victimized children were not homeogenous.

The Enterprise Security Management system is a centralized control system based on predefined security policies by organizations. In Korea, there is a Common Criteria security certification according to the strict standards for various features. As the needs of information security product are increasing, the ESM system should be evaluated with quality characteristics. In this paper, we propose evaluation items for functionality and performance of Enterprise Security Management system, and the best practices for evaluation.

The objective of this paper is to provide an inventory control policy for the system that carries a single item with a multiple demand classes, when the demand is Poisson distributed random variable. The inventory control process includes the process of determining the reorder point, and the process of inventory control during the lead time. The goal of the optimization process is to achieve the service level of each demand class as well as the system-wide total service level at a preset desired service level while sustaining a minimum average inventory.

A stochastic dynamic lot sizing problem for multi-item is suggested in the case that the distribution of the cumulative demand is known over finite planning horizons and all unsatisfied demand is fully backlogged. Each item is produced simultaneously at a variable ratio of input resources employed whenever setup is incurred. A dynamic programming algorithm is proposed to find the optimal production policy, which resembles the Wagner-Whitin algorithm for the deterministic case problem but with some additional feasibility constraints.

This article studied on price dispersion of food market in Kwangju. Both item and market basket price dispersion were surveyed, and this price dispersion was compared with the perceptive price dispersion. This survey was conducted from April. 8.1992 to 22. On findings, price dispersion is very big in item and market basket. Most Consumers' perception was inaccurate and typically underestimated. This findings suggest that consumers are victims of contributors to informally imperfect markets.

A data-driven index of dimensionality for an educational or psychological test - DETECT, short for Dimensionality Evaluation To Enumerate Contributing Traits, is proposed in this paper. It is based on estimated conditional covariances of item pairs, given score on remaining test items. Its purpose is to detect whatever multidimensionality structure exists, especially in the case of approximate simple structure. It does so by assigning items to relatively dimensionally homogeneous clusters via attempted maximization of the DETECT over all possible item cluster partitions. The performance of DETECT is studied through real and simulated data analyses.

본 논문에서는 XML을 이용하여 문제은행 시스템(Item pool System)을 설계하였다. XML은 단순하면서도 구조적인 내용을 표현하는데 용이하며, 확장성이 뛰어난 마크업 언어이다. 문제 은행은 문항의 형태, 내용, 난이도, 등을 포함한 군항의 특성과 관련된 정보들을 체계적으로 제시해야하므로 데이터베이스에 저장된 내용들을 체계적으로 표현할 수 있어야한다. 따라서, 본 논문은 내용과 관련된 태그를 직접 만들 수 있고, 여러 개의 XML 문서들을 하나의 큰 문서로 병합할 수 있으며, 어떠한 종류의 응용프로그램과도 통합할 수 있는 범용적 데이터베이스라고도 할 수 있는 XML의 특성을 이용하여 좀더 확장성이 좋아지게 하였다.
