This paper deals with preventive replacements models for the item whose failures are dependent on their wear level. When measuring the item wear level is very costly, it may be economical to use substitutive characteristics that are correlated with the item wear level and relatively inexpensive to measure. In this paper, replacement policies based on such substitutive characteristics are proposed. The optimal level of substitutive characteristic to replace the item, which minimizes total cost, is obtained. Some numerical examples are also given.

When the fire door is recently installed in the field, there are frequent cases where the fire door is manufactured with fire door having low quality or different structure compared to the performance that the fire door producer has confirmed in the performance test or the construction specification. In order to improve the on-site quality management of the fire door, we comprehensively classify the quality management items of the fire door according to the management subject and the step by stage and set the field quality management procedure, the field quality management inspection item, regulations and standardized checklists were presented.

본 연구에서는 무기 시스템의 위조품 적용 방지를 위한 위조품의 관리 방법과 식별 방법에 대해서 알아보고, 위조품 관리 표준과 품질 보증 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해서 구체적으로 다음과 같은 3가지 영역에 대한 연구를 수행하였다: 1) 위조품에 대한 일반적인 연구, 2) 해외 구매 부품의 위조품의 관리 방법, 3) 위조품의 품질 보증 방법. 분석한 내용을 바탕으로 위조품 관리 방법, 관리 표준 및 네트워크 구축, 시스템 개선 및 품질 보증 방법 강화 등의 국외 위조 부품 도입 적용 방지를 위한 품질보증 정책 방향을 제안하였다.

Items are assumed to fail by degradation. An appropriate stochastic model of such item is a cumulative process in which an item can fail only when the total amount of wear exceeds a prespecified failure level. This paper presents replacement policy in which an item is replaced at a certain level of wear before failure or at failure, whichever occurs first. Yet, when measuring the item wear level is very expensive, destructive or time-consuming, it may be economical to use substitutive characteristics that are correlated with the item wear level and relatively inexpensive to measure. The item's wear level could usually be estimated by monitoring such substitutive characteristics only except for a breakdown, which may be observed immediately at its occurrence. The purpose of this paper is to find an optimal periodic replacement policy based on such substitutive characteristics that balance the cost of replacement with the cost of failure and result in a minimum total long-run average cost per unit time. The optimal level of substitutive characteristics to replace the item is obtained. Numerical example illustrate how the model can be used to determine the optimal replacement policy.

본 연구는 레스토랑 산업에 널리 적용할 수 있는 외식 서비스 품질 측정을 위한 다문항 척도를 개발하였다. 척도 개발을 위해 Kelly Repertory Grid 방법을 이용하여 중요하게 생각하는 레스토랑 품질 속성을 파악한 후 전문가 토론을 수차례 거쳐 유사 중복 항목을 통합하고, 핵심 차원별 주요 속성을 도출하였다. 척도 정제를 위해 신뢰도 분석과 탐색적 요인 분석을 실시하였으며, 이후 각 구성 개념에 대한 중복성 여부를 확인하기 위하여 3차 확인 요인 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 Brady & Cronin(2001)이 제안한 위계적 서비스 품질 모형을 바탕으로 외식 서비스 품질 척도를 개발하였다. 본 연구의 위계적 외식 서비스 품질 모형은 외식 서비스 품질 차원 및 측정 요인을 물리적 환경 품질, 상호 작용 품질, 음식 품질이라는 핵심 차원으로 설명함으로써 요인간의 중복성 완화, 결과와 과정 품질의 균형적 고려, 세 가지 핵심 차원별 관리포인트 명확화, 위계적 모형에 의한 핵심 차원과 하위 차원의 구분 등 이론적 기여 측면에서 뿐만 아니라 관리적 시사점 도출 측면에서도 우위성을 갖는다고 할 수 있다.

국내 가동중원전은 2012년 이후 일반규격품 품질검증 이행 체계 구축을 위해 정책 수립 및 기술 개발, 일반규격품 품질검증 전문기관 양성, 국내 원전 공급사들의 일반규격품 품질검증프로그램 보유 추진 및 원자력 산업계의 전문인력 양성 등을 적극 추진 중에 있다. 아울러 미국 전력연구소(EPRI)의 관련 기술기준을 기반으로 일반규격품 품질검증프로그램 도입 초기에 개발된 안전성(Q) 등급 품목 품질검증 프로세스를 개선하였고, 국내 원전 고유의 원자력 품질등급 체계인 안전성영향(A) 등급 품목을 위해 안전성등급 품목과 차별화시킨 별도의 검증 프로세스를 개발하였다. 결과적으로, 위와 같은 노력을 통해 국내 가동중원전의 일반규격품 품질검증 이행 체계가 구축될 경우, 원전에서 사용하는 기자재의 신뢰성 및 안전성이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.

The problem of selecting optimal target values for the mean of the quality characteristic of interest for a production process in which an item is sold in one of two market with different profit / cost structures or reworked. Two profit models are constructed which involve four profit / cost components: profit, production, inspection, and rework costs. Assumed that the quality characteristic of interest is normally distributed, methods of finding the most profitable process mean are presented and a numerical example is given.

A hybrid warranty policy for a repairable item is considered. Assuming that minimal repairs ar e performed for failures during warranty period, present worth of warranty cost is derived from a supplier's viewpoint. An optimal preventive periodic replacement policy for the case is also derived from a user's viewpoint Numerical examples are presented in order to explain the results.
