  • The sand particle was coated with $Fe_3O_4$ and then $Fe_2O_3$ that adsorption capacity was more excellent than $Fe_3O_4$ was mostly found in 2nd step for preparation of iron-oxide-coated sand (IOCS). The copper removal rate was 74.9 percent by adding 30 gram per liter iron-oxide-coated sand from the solution with 5 mg/l Cu in 20 minute. Breakthrough time occurred in 23 hours and adsorption capacity 0.87$\cdot$Cu/g$\cdot$IOCS in case of breakthrough copper concentration was 1.0 mg/l in the continuous test.

  • In this paper, the AC breakdown properties to investigate the electrical properties of gate oxide layer in MOSFET was studied. 5 inch arsenic epi-wafer is selected as an experimental specimen, the power MOSFET of a general MOS structure was made. In order to analyze the physical properties of the specimen, the SIMS(secondary ion mass spectroscopy) was used. As the experimental condition, the experiment al of the AC breakdown characteristics was performed when the thickness of gate oxide layer is $600[\AA]$ and $800[\AA]$, the resistivity is $1.2[\Omega{\cdot}cm]$, $1.5[\Omega{\cdot}cm]$ and $1.8[\Omega{\cdot}cm]$, and the diffusion time is 110[min] and 150[min] in temperature $30[^{\circ}C]{\sim}100[^{\circ}C]$. From the analysis result of the SIMS spectrum, it is confirmed that the dielectric strength is decreased by contribution of the impurities ad dition as increasing in thickness of the gate oxide layer in MOSFET.

  • In this study, a series of anion conductive organic/inorganic composite membranes with excellent ionic conductivity and chemical stability were prepared by introducing graphene oxide (GO) inorganic nanofiller into the quaternized poly(phenylen oxide (Q-PPO) polymer matrix. The fabricated organic/inorganic composite membranes showed higher ionic conductivity than the pristine membrane. In particular, Q-PPO/GO 0.7 showed the highest ionic conductivity value of 143.2 mS/cm at 90℃, which was 1.56 times higher than the pristine membrane Q-PPO (91.5 mS/cm). In addition, the organic/inorganic composite membrane showed superior dimensional stability and alkaline stability compared to the pristine membrane, and the physicochemical stability was improved as the content of inorganic fillers increased. Therefore, we suggest that the as-prepared organic/inorganic composite membranes are very promising materials for anion exchange membrane applications with high conductivity and alkaline stability.
