In this paper, we propose and implement an IoT based mobile smart monitoring system in the view point of safety inspection for solar power generation. The main features and contributions of proposed system are as follows. First, the proposed system model can evaluate periodically in the view point of safety inspection the conditions of the system and structure of solar power generation. Second, the proposed system automatically re-processes the measurement data of the system and structure for solar power generation and save it into database. Third, using the re-processed and saved information, the proposed system can provide the monitoring information with webpage form to both administrator and owner of solar power generation system, thus they can measure and confirm directly in the view point of safety inspection the conditions of the solar generation structure without visiting those places. Fourth, the provided web pages for the monitoring of solar power generation can be accessed regardless of the system structures. The performance evaluations of the proposed system show that the proposed monitoring system can save efficiently the data received from the sensors installed in the structure of solar power generation into the data base in the collecting server. And the proposed system can support that both administrator and user of solar power generation system access webpage in real time without considering places by using mobile phone and desktop computer and obtain the information for the conditions of the system and structure of solar power generation with graph forms.

In a closed workplace, the management of the workplace is important because the environmental data at the workplace has a great influence on the safety of workers. Today's industrial sites are transformed into data-based factories that collect and analyze data through sensors in those sites, requiring a management system to ensure safety. In general, a safety management system stores and manages data on a central server associated with a database. Since such management system introduces high possibility of forgery and loss of data, workers often suspect the reliability of the information on the management system. In this paper, we present a worker safety management system based on the EOS blockchain which is considered as third-generation blockchain technology. The developed system consists of a set of smart contracts on the EOS blockchain and 3 decentralized applications associated with the blockchain. According to the roles of users, the worker and manager applications respectively perform the process of initiating or terminating tasks as blockchain transactions. The entire transaction history is distributed and stored in all nodes participating in the blockchain network, so forgery and loss of data is practically impossible. The system administrator application assigns the account rights of workers and managers appropriate for performing the functions, and specifies the safety standards of IoT data for ensuring workplace safety. The IoT data received from sensor platforms in workplaces and the information on initiation, termination or approval of tasks assigned to workers, are explicitly stored and managed in the EOS smart contracts.

Recently, the field of agriculture has been gaining a new leap with the integration of ICT technology in agriculture. In particular, smart farms, which incorporate the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in agriculture, are in the spotlight. Smart farm technology collects and analyzes information such as temperature and humidity of the environment where crops are cultivated in real time using sensors to automatically control the devices necessary for harvesting crops in the control device, Environment. Although smart farm technology is paying attention as if it can solve everything, most of the research focuses only on increasing crop yields. This paper focuses on the development of a system architecture that can harvest high quality crops at the optimum stage rather than increase crop yields. In this paper, we have developed an architecture using apple trees as a sample and used the color information and weight information to predict the harvest time of apple trees. The simple board that collects color information and weight information and transmits it to the server side uses Arduino and adopts model-driven development (MDD) as development methodology. We have developed an architecture to provide services to PC users in the form of Web and to provide Smart Phone users with services in the form of hybrid apps. We also developed an architecture that uses beacon technology to provide orchestration information to users in real time.
In Internet of Things (IoT), the aim of the nodes (called 'Things') is to exchange information with each other, whereby they gather and share information with each other through self decision-making. Therefore, we cannot apply existing aggregation algorithms of Wireless sensor networks that aim to transmit information to only a sink node or a central server, directly to the IoT environment. In addition, since existing algorithms aggregate information from all sensor nodes, problems can arise including an increasing number of transmissions and increasing transmission delay and energy consumption. In this paper, we propose the clustering and property based data exchange method for energy efficient information sharing. First, the proposed method assigns the properties of each node, including the sensing data and unique resource. The property determines whether the node can respond to the query requested from the other node. Second, a cluster network is constructed considering the location and energy consumption. Finally, the nodes communicate with each other efficiently using the properties. For the performance evaluation, TOSSIM was used to measure the network lifetime and average energy consumption.

Recently, small-scale IoT services using a small amount of information through low-performance computing have been spread. It requires low cost, low-power, and long-distance communication technologies with wide communication radius, relatively low power consumption. This paper proposes a MAC layer and routing protocol that supports multi-hop transmission in small-scale IoT environment distributed over a large area based on LoRa communication and delivering a small amount of sensing data. The terminal node is mobile and the communication type provides bidirectional transmission between the terminal node and the network application server. By applying the proposed protocol, a production line monitoring system for smart factory was implemented. It was confirmed that the basic monitoring functions are normally performed.

In Korea, foot-and-mouth disease has not been reported for several decades, but it began to develop again in 2000. For 2010~2011, when the worst occurred, 3.5 million animals were disposed of resulting in a loss of 2.8 trillion won. In order to prevent the harmful effects of foot-and-mouth disease, vaccination and housing management are being implemented. Despite these measures, foot-and-mouth disease is infected with air through the respiratory tract and accompanies fever after latency. Therefore, it is recognized that measuring and managing the body temperature of livestock at the early stage is the first step of managing this disease. In this paper, we propose a temperature monitoring system that can measure the body temperature by incorporating temperature sensor mounted in ear-tag of cattle and collect body temperature data of each individual cattle through BLE into the control server. The proposed body temperature monitoring system has various advantages such as easy installation without the help of livestock specialists and not damaging the organs of the livestock. So, it is possible to manage the abnormal symptom of cattle in real time and it is believed that the proposed monitoring system will revolutionize the prevention of foot-and-mouth disease.
Since the ocean accounts for 70.8 percent of the earth's surface, the success of IoT technology in the marine industry is to collect information from devices placed in a wider range. LPWA is a feature with a wide range of communication and is very suitable for deployment in the ocean. In this paper, the real-sea performance distance experiment was carried out based on Private LoRa, a key technology for executing the electronic phrase real-name system. A private LoRa module based on sx1276 was developed, and Gateway was developed to transfer data received by private LoRa to the server using SKT Cat. M1. After installing gateways at 599 meters above sea level and experimenting with data transmission and reception at 25 km, 40 km and 60 km, we were able to see that the communication success rate was obtained to be 96.1%. 97.1% and 96.2% respectively.

In recent years, there have been frequent occurrences of collapsing buildings and tilting accidents due to frequent earthquakes and aging of buildings. Various methods have been proposed to prevent disasters on these buildings. In this paper, we propose a system algorithm that provides an indication of anomalous phenomena such as collapse and tilting of buildings by real - time monitoring of IoT (Internet of Things) - based architectural anomalies. The multi-advanced sensor is based on the Inclinometer sensor and the Accelerometer sensor, transmits the detected data to the server in real time, accumulates the data, and provides the service to cope when the set threshold value is different. It is possible to evacuate and repair the collapse and tilting of the building by warning the occurrence of the upper threshold event event such as the collapse and tilting of the building.

While the number of passengers using urban railroads is increasing day by day, the number of complaints from passengers is also increasing. In order to resolve problems caused by poor communication between urban railroad officials and passengers in this paper. An IOS application using the Internet of Things (IoT) technology is proposed for providing safety and comfort temperature service(s) and for taking prompt action(s) of passengers complaints. In this proposal system, the temperature & humidity sensors were placed in a suitable location within the train. At the same time, transferring measurements to the remote server, allowing passengers to request their desired temperature through the IOS Application. Like this based on the collected data, I suggest a system that urban railroad officials can control temperature & humidity of the train. The proposed system was implemented by the Gwangju Metro Line 1 to validate its effectiveness.

This study presents a time synchronization system in decentralized structure by using the blockchain, a core technology of Bitcoin introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008. In this study, Getting away from existing time synchronization system in centralized structure, A blockchain network has completely decentralized structure using public blockchain. In decentralized structure, Only certain peers among the peers that participate in a blockchain network access the NTP server. Therefore, others can synchronize time without having to go to public network. Furthermore if appropriate time synchronization cycles are established for each peer, time synchronization can be maintained even when connection to public network is completely lost. A time synchronization system in this study has advantages of p2p system and can be also guaranteed reliability and stability because it used digital signature, merkle tree, consensus algorithm which are core characteristics of block chains.
