Internet of Things (IoT) connects devices with various platforms, computing power, and functions. Due to the diversity of networks and the ubiquity of IoT devices, demands for security and privacy are increasing. Therefore, cryptographic mechanisms must be strong enough to meet these increased requirements, while at the same time effective enough to be implemented in devices with long-range specifications. In this paper, we present the performance and memory limitations of modern cryptographic primitives and schemes for different types of devices that can be used in IoT. In addition, detailed performance evaluation of the performance of the most commonly used encryption algorithms in low-spec devices frequently used in IoT networks is performed. To provide data protection, the binary ring uses encryption asymmetric fully homomorphic encryption and symmetric encryption AES 128-bit. As a result of the experiment, it can be seen that the IoT device had sufficient performance to implement a symmetric encryption, but the performance deteriorated in the asymmetric encryption implementation.

To use IoT Technology, it needs a platform to connect each devices. With this reason, Many corporations and organizations are trying to develop their own Platform. Among many platforms we select AllJoyn, IoT open source platform developed by Allseen Alliance which is association led by Qualcomm. Using AllJoyn, we transform data gathered from many communication techniques like WiFi, Zigbee and Bluetooth into AllJoyn platform format and deliver it to other AllJoyn devices. Ultimately, we realize gateway system which enables non-AllJoyn devices to communicate with AllJoyn devices.

In recent domestic new growth model based on the IoT it has been proposed by the industry and national authorities. As applied to these Internet-based IoT convergence center of the field is expected to be realized, including the improvement and increase of efficiency of various economic values. In this paper, using KETI ( Korea Electronics Technology Institute ) developed distribution being oneM2M standards-based platform from Mobius and Gateway Platforms & Cube, and low power, capable of long-range RF communication LoRa communication module is proposed to build the site applicable environment.
In recent years, internet of things (IoT) technology has developed rapidly and has been applied in many fields. IoT devices collect and analyze information in various environments and provide useful information to users. Due to the recent increase in IoT devices, many open source platforms based on hardware and software that are cheap and easy to use have been developed and provided. In this paper, we have studied the IoT system based on Arduino which can communicate Bluetooth wireless data with smart phone in real time. And we have developed a wireless system control app based on App Invertor 2 for communication with Android smart phone. Also, we propose an IoT system based on Arduino which can control the devices and implement the function of connectivity between devices.
The Internet of Things (IoT) is expected to provide new business opportunities by connecting devices, persons, and their data. However, the value proposed by IoT cannot be realized without trust. As IoT premises on the seamless connections, it should guarantee trust among the connected persons and things. However, there is lack of relevant discussion on how to achieve trustworthy connections and interactions because most of academic studies have mainly focused on the development of IoT platforms and applications. To fill the gaps, recent EU-funded projects such as uTRUSTit, ABC4Trust, Inter-Trust, COMPOSE, and SMARTIE have been conducted under the FP7-ICT Framework Programme. This paper presents and discusses each project's purpose and approach. Although their approaches are somewhat different from each other, all of them dedicate to achieving both privacy and security by providing the trustworthy connections. It seems to be clear that Korea also needs more academic and practical contribution in terms of researches, to implement "trust"among connected things, which will eventually satisfy what really IoT is expected for.

Internet of Things (IoT) technology, which provides services by connecting various objects in the real world and objects in the virtual world based on the Internet, is emerging as a technology that enables a hyper-connected society in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. Since IoT technology is a convergence technology that encompasses devices, networks, platforms, and services, various studies are being conducted. Among these studies, studies on measures that can measure service quality provided by IoT software are still insufficient. IoT software has hardware parts of the Internet of Things, technologies based on them, features of embedded software, and network features. These features are used as elements defining IoT software quality measurement metrics. However, these features are considered in the metrics related to IoT software quality measurement so far. Therefore, this paper presents a metric for reusability measurement among various quality factors of IoT software in consideration of these factors. In particular, since IoT software is used through IoT devices, services in IoT software must be designed to be changed, replaced, or expanded, and metrics that can measure this are very necessary. In this paper, we propose three metrics: changeability, replaceability, and scalability that can measure and evaluate the reusability of IoT software services were presented, and the metrics presented through case studies were verified. It is expected that the service quality verification of IoT software will be carried out through the metrics presented in this paper, thereby contributing to the improvement of users' service satisfaction.
Unprecedented attention is being given to Smart Grid, Micro Grid and Internet of Things (IoT) in the Republic of Korea recently but such systems' effect is not well experienced by the market since they require additional and costly reforms for the existing household electrical system where adaptive communication platforms are needed. As such platforms, both wireless and wire communication technologies are being considered at the moment. Usually, they include WiFi, Zigbee technologies and the latter, LAN technology. However, communication speed decline due to signal attenuation and interference during wireless communications are considered to be the major problem and the extra works involving time and costs for the LAN system construction can be another demerit. Therefore, in this paper, we have introduced a Power Line Communication-based Smart Outlet System Expandable at Home to complement these disadvantages. Proposed IoT system involves Power Line Communication (PLC) technology which is essential to constructing a Smart Grid.

The amount of data has increased significantly due to advances in technology, and various big data processing platforms are emerging, to handle it. Among them, the most widely used platform is Hadoop developed by the Apache Software Foundation, and Hadoop is also used in the IoT field. However, the existing Hadoop-based IoT sensor data collection and analysis environment has a problem of overloading the name node due to HDFS' Small File, which is Hadoop's core project, and it is impossible to update or delete the imported data. This paper uses Apache Kudu and Impala to design Lambda Architecture. The proposed Architecture classifies IoT sensor data into Cold-Data and Hot-Data, stores it in storage according to each personality, and uses Batch-View created through Batch and Real-time View generated through Apache Kudu and Impala to solve problems in the existing Hadoop-based IoT sensor data collection analysis environment and shorten the time users access to the analyzed data.

In this paper, among short-range wireless communication technologies such as Beacon, Bluetooth, UWB (Ultra-wideband), ZigBee, NFC (Near Field Communication), Z-Wave, 6LoWPAN (IPv6 over Low power WPAN), D2D (Device to Device), etc., proposed an IoT service platform based on a beacon that can provide indoor positioning. And, a beacon-linked web server was designed by blocking indiscriminate beacon spam signals and applying REST web service technology with flexibility and scalability. Data accessibility between different devices was verified by testing the success rate of data transmission, the success rate of blocking beacon push, the success rate of IoT interlocking processing, the accuracy of location positioning, and the success rate of REST web service-based data processing. Through the designed IoT service platform, various proposals and research on short-distance-based business models and service platforms will be conducted in the future.
The trend of Internet of things are changed from public and examples of corporate center to B2C service. As you can see, through the practice of domestic and international services Internet of Things, conventional disaster, disasters, such as the case of the public sector, factory automation company now mainly direct B2C (Business to Consumer) services are affecting the individual has spread. In this paper we propose a method of platforms and components, and network configuration plan for exploration robot design based on remote control and monitoring system with IoT.
