  • Recently, the Internet of Thing (IoT) technology is expanding explosively in the number of devices and applications in many application areas. In IoT systems, sensors and actuators are connected to the Internet and cooperate to do some applications by exchanging information. In this paper an IoT smart home system is developed to monitor and control home devices easily. Our system consists of sensor devices, IoT gateways, and an IoT server. Sensor devices developed using Rfduino sense the physical world and transmit their data using BLE to the IoT server thru the IoT gateway. We implemented the IoT gateway using Raspberry Pi and the IoT server using ARTIK cloud. We installed our system and made a test in our lab, which showed that our system can be installed and managed easily and extended its functionality in an easy way. By taking advantage of the rule mechanism and action messages of ARTIK cloud, we implemented the control of device parameters easily by sending action messages to the ARTIK cloud.

  • Recent dramatical development of computer technology related to internet technology intensifies the dispute over software of computer or smart device. Research on software has been flourished with political issuing of fierce competition among nations for software development. Particularly industrial growth in ethernet based big data and IoT (Internet of Things) has promoted to build and develop open source programs based on java, xcode and C. On these circumstances, issue on software piracy has been confronted despite the basic security policy protecting intellectual property rights of software and thus it is of substantial importance to protect the rights of originality of source program license. However, the other issue on source technology protection of developer is the possibility of hindrance to advancement in industry and culture by developing programs. This study discuss the way of enhancing legal stability of IoT application program development and reinforcing precision in inspection of program plagiarism by analyzing the source programs with newly introducing text mining technique, thus suggests an alternative protective way of infringement of personal information due to duplicating program.

  • In modern times, many IoT products are being used as all things and devices are connected to the Internet and IoT products become easily accessible through the network. For the convenience of users, IoT products can be remotely operated automatically without manual operation. Various research and development are underway to improve the convenience of users by using IoT products. However, since only the convenience of the users is pursued, in terms of security, there is a serious problem that exposes the user's personal information. This paper has proposed a method to apply $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology to IoT products in order to improve the performance of security, and a method to increase the safety of IoT products using user face authentication based on shadow $moir{\acute{e}}$ as a $moir{\acute{e}}$ phenomenon method, and the projection $moir{\acute{e}}$. When comparing the existing IoT products and IoT products applied with $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology, IoT products applied with $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology are safer in terms of security.

  • The interconnection of an enormous number of devices into the Internet at a massive scale is a consequence of the Internet of Things (IoT). As a result, tasks offloading from these IoT devices to remote cloud data centers become expensive and inefficient as their number and amount of its emitted data increase exponentially. It is also a challenge to optimize IoT device energy consumption while meeting its application time deadline and data delivery constraints. Consequently, Fog Computing was proposed to support efficient IoT tasks processing as it has a feature of lower service delay, being adjacent to IoT nodes. However, cloud task offloading is still performed frequently as Fog computing has less resources compared to remote cloud. Thus, optimized schemes are required to correctly characterize and distribute IoT devices tasks offloading in a hybrid IoT, Fog, and cloud paradigm. In this paper, we present a detailed survey and classification of of recently published research articles that address the energy efficiency of task offloading schemes in IoT-Fog-Cloud paradigm. Moreover, we also developed a taxonomy for the classification of these schemes and provided a comparative study of different schemes: by identifying achieved advantage and disadvantage of each scheme, as well its related drawbacks and limitations. Moreover, we also state open research issues in the development of energy efficient, scalable, optimized task offloading schemes for Fog computing.

  • The Internet of Things is a technology that makes it possible for objects made up of hardware and software to exchange information with one another via the Internet, thereby facilitating the servitization of the objects. An IoT service, which is composed of an IoT device and a web service, has recently been applied to the marketing field and is being used as a means to meet customer needs. However, applying appropriate marketing elements to IoT services is not easy. Therefore, analysis tools are needed to properly apply marketing elements to IoT services. This study aims to construct an analysis model for marketing evaluation of IoT services. In this study, the technical elements and marketing elements of IoT were derived through a literature review, and the analysis model for marketing evaluation of IoT services was established by exploring the relationship between the elements based on a service blueprint. We also applied real cases to verify the analytical model. This study is expected to contribute to the development of tools for evaluating IoT services.

  • Industrial IoT applications, including smart factories, require two problem-solving to build data monitoring systems required by services from distributed IoT sensors (smart sensors). One is to overcome proprietary protocols, data formats, and hardware differences and to uniquely identify and connect IoT sensors, and the other is to overcome the problem of changing the server-side data storage structure and sensor data transmission format according to the addition or change of service or IoT sensors. The IEEE 1451.4 standard-based or IPMI specification-based smart sensor technology supports the development of plug-and-play sensors that solve the first problem. However, there is a lack of research that requires a second problem-solving, which requires support for the plug-in of IoT sensors into remote services. To propose a solution for the integration of these two problem-solving, we present a IoT sensor platform, a service system architecture, and a service plugin protocol for the MQTT-based IIoT application environment.

To this end, analysis was performed using the 2018 national R&D information, and major basic analysis and language network analysis were performed. As a result of the analysis, research and development related to big data, IoT, and artificial intelligence are being conducted by focusing on the basic and development stages, and it was found that universities and SMEs have a high proportion. In addition, as a result of the language network analysis, it is judged that the related fields are mainly research for use in the smart farm and healthcare fields. Based on these research results, first, big data is essential to use artificial intelligence, and personal identification research should be conducted more actively. Second, they argued that full-cycle support is needed for technology commercialization, not simple R&D activities, and the need to expand application fields.

  • To realize the vision of internet of things (IoT), where it is expected to bring significant impact to the global economy in the future, consideration of business models in the IoT context is necessary. This research attempts to build an enhanced artifact business model framework based on the definitions of IoT and literature on business models for analysis of IoT businesses. The framework is used to analyze four different types of players: the owner of things, vendors of devices, providers of connectivity and providers of IoT application services. The findings suggest that the owners of things tend to partner with ICT players to complement their weakness, and it tends to be connectivity providers. The device vendors leverage their strength of devices and device platforms to attract and enable 3rd party sensor/devices to interconnect, while the service providers are aiming to penetrate into customer premise. These lead to the following recommendations for non-IT players to consider in expanding into IoT business: 1) take into account differences in product development process between IT and non-IT businesses in expanding into IoT market; 2) collaborate with ICT players that acknowledge and understand the differences.
