The interconnection of an enormous number of devices into the Internet at a massive scale is a consequence of the Internet of Things (IoT). As a result, tasks offloading from these IoT devices to remote cloud data centers become expensive and inefficient as their number and amount of its emitted data increase exponentially. It is also a challenge to optimize IoT device energy consumption while meeting its application time deadline and data delivery constraints. Consequently, Fog Computing was proposed to support efficient IoT tasks processing as it has a feature of lower service delay, being adjacent to IoT nodes. However, cloud task offloading is still performed frequently as Fog computing has less resources compared to remote cloud. Thus, optimized schemes are required to correctly characterize and distribute IoT devices tasks offloading in a hybrid IoT, Fog, and cloud paradigm. In this paper, we present a detailed survey and classification of of recently published research articles that address the energy efficiency of task offloading schemes in IoT-Fog-Cloud paradigm. Moreover, we also developed a taxonomy for the classification of these schemes and provided a comparative study of different schemes: by identifying achieved advantage and disadvantage of each scheme, as well its related drawbacks and limitations. Moreover, we also state open research issues in the development of energy efficient, scalable, optimized task offloading schemes for Fog computing.
The number of capabilities of Internet of Things (IoT) devices will exponentially grow over the next years. These devices may generate a vast amount of time-constrained data. In the context of IoT, data management should act as a layer between the objects and devices generating the data and the applications accessing the data for analysis purposes and services. In addition, most of IoT services will be content-centric rather than host centric to increase the data availability and the efficiency of data delivery. IoT will enable all the communication devices to be interconnected and make the data generated by or associated with devices or objects globally accessible. Also, fog computing keeps data and computation close to end users at the edge of network, and thus provides a new breed of applications and services to end users with low latency, high bandwidth, and geographically distributed. In this paper, we propose Edge-Fog cloud-based Hierarchical Data Delivery ($EFcHD^2$) method that effectively and reliably delivers IoT data to associated with IoT applications with ensuring time sensitivity. The proposed $EFcHD^2$ method stands on basis of fully decentralized hybrid of Edge and Fog compute cloud model, Edge-Fog cloud, and uses information-centric networking and bloom filters. In addition, it stores the replica of IoT data or the pre-processed feature data by edge node in the appropriate locations of Edge-Fog cloud considering the characteristic of IoT data: locality, size, time sensitivity and popularity. Then, the performance of $EFcHD^2$ method is evaluated through an analytical model, and is compared to fog server-based and Content-Centric Networking (CCN)-based data delivery methods.
Although IoT systems are used in a variety of heterogeneous environments as cloud environments develop, all IoT devices are not provided with reliable protocols and services. This paper proposes an IoT data management technique that can extend the IoT cloud environment to an n-layer multi-level structure so that information collected from different heterogeneous IoT devices can be efficiently sorted and processed. The proposed technique aims to classify and process IoT information by transmitting routing information and weight information through wireless data link data collected from heterogeneous IoT devices. The proposed technique not only delivers information classified from IoT devices to the corresponding routing path but also improves the efficiency of IoT data processing by assigning priority according to weight information. The IoT devices used in the proposed technique use each other's reliable protocols, and queries for other IoT devices locally through a local cloud composed of hierarchical structures have features that ensure scalability because they maintain a certain cost.y channels of IoT information in order to make the most of the multiple antenna technology.

The Internet of Things(IoT) security has more need than a technical problem as it needs series of regulations and faultless security system for common purposes. So, this study proposes an efficient key management in order that can be trusted IoT data in cloud computing. In contrast with a key distribution center of existing sensor networks, the proposed a federation key management of cloud proxy key server is not central point of administration and enables an active key recovery and update. The proposed key management is not a method of predetermined secret keys but sharing key information of a cloud proxy key server in autonomous cloud, which can reduce key generation and space complexity. In addition, In contrast with previous IoT key researches, a federation key of cloud proxy key server provides an extraction ability from meaningful information while moving data.

The role of Internet of Things (IoT) has been evolving from connectivity to intelligent and autonomous functions. The increase in the number of connected things and the volume of data has revealed the limit of cloud-based intelligent IoT. Meanwhile, the development of microprocessors for the IoT has enabled their intelligent decision making and reactions without the intervention of the cloud; this phase is referred to as the "autonomous IoT era." However, intelligence is not the only function of the IoT. When a cyber physical system (CPS) is running on the cloud, the real-time synchronization between the real and virtual worlds cannot be guaranteed. If a CPS is running on the IoT, both the worlds can be synchronized closely enough for a zero- time gap, i.e., achieving the goals of autonomous IoT. ETRI implements intelligence into the role of IoT and collaborates their decision making and reactions without the intervention of humans. Then, we focus on the development of a new IoT computing paradigm that enables human-like discussions.

Recently, due to the development of ICT technology, changes to the convergence service platform of information systems are accelerating. Convergence services expanded to cyber systems with 5G communication, IoT, AI, and cloud are being reflected in the real world. However, the field of cybersecurity audit for responding to cyber attacks and security threats and strengthening security technology is insufficient. In this paper, we analyze the international standard analysis of information security management system, security audit analysis and security of related systems according to the expansion of 5G communication, IoT, AI, Cloud based information system security. In addition, we design and study cybersecurity audit checklists and contents for expanding security according to cyber attack and security threat of information system. This study will be used as the basic data for audit methods and audit contents for coping with cyber attacks and security threats by expanding convergence services of 5G, IoT, AI, and Cloud based systems.
Open IoT platform that shares communication infrastructure and provides cloud resources can flexibly reduce development period and cost of smart service. In this paper, as an open IoT platform, we propose a virtual IoT system based on edge computing that implements a virtual IoT device for a physical IoT device and allows service developers to interact with the virtual device. A management server in the edge cloud, near the IoT physical device, manages the creation, movement, and removal of virtual IoT devices corresponding to the physical IoT devices. This paper define the operations of the management server, the physical IoT device, and the virtual IoT device, which are major components of the virtual IoT system, and design the communication protocol required to perform the operations. Finally, through simulations, this paper evaluate the performance of the edge computing based virtual IoT system by confirming that each component performs the defined states and operations as designed.

In the IoT(Internet of Things) environment, methods that user can access sensor node directly to collect sensing data or manage sensor in a gateway have a limitations. To solve this problem, cloud based sensor network architectures are proposed. In this paper, we proposed CoAP based IoT architecture that a lightweight gateway is used for data gathering instead of using a heavy traditional one and users can request sensing data through IoT applications running in the cloud environment and analyze signaling message cost. By doing so, our system can reduce message cost compared to the traditional gateway based system.
