  • The mobile Internet (M-Internet) service is a form of subscription-based information Systems (IS) services in which usage continuance is essential for the eventual success of the service providers. However, previous research on IS continuance has focused mainly on the technology user aspects despite the fact that the user plays a dual role of being a technology user and service consumer in many IS usage contexts. This study thus aims to examine IS continuance based on the theoretical foundation of dedication-based and constraint-based customer relationship development in the context of M-Internet service. Four customer relationship development factors (satisfaction, perceived value, familiarity, and switching costs) are identified and tested on how they affect continuance intention from a survey conducted on M-Internet service users. Then, the results of this study are discussed along with its limitations and implications.

  • In the early days, we could be provided almost internet contents without pay. It's been turning out the time we need to pay for getting some internet contents as it has become one of important media. It's already been a kind of big market. We need to develop the revenue model of character brand in the internet business. Character brand could make the internet contents on a position of advantage. We've made the revenue through using character brand and making commodities and services more valuable. We use the internet in a wide range of daily life communication. It's expected to extend. It's needed to study which kind of revenue model is existed at the moment.

  • In these days, many reports noticed that the Internet worms spread out and have done considerable damage to all over the world network within a few days. The worms, which is infected from various route such as e-mail, can spread very fast with common property, self replication. But, there is not prepare for the way effectively to interrupt internet worm. Therefore, to prevent our network resource, internet hosts and user clients, the systemic categorization and automatic defense mechanism is required in the Internet worm research. Hence, in this paper, we describe internet worm propagation and defense model.

  • This research is concerned with the development of an Internet-based robot system, which is insensitive to the unpredictable Internet time delay. For that purpose, a simple mobile robot system that moves in response to the user' direct control on the Internet has been built. The time delay in data transmission is a big problem for the construction of this kind of system. Therefore, the PPS (Position Prediction Simulator) is suggested and implemented to compensate for the time delay problem of the Internet. The simulation and experimental result show that the distance error can be reduced using the developed PPS.

  • With skyrocketing number of people who use smartphone, the technology of wireless internet that is mobile-phone, Wi-Fi, Wibro, HSDPA has been developed remarkably. The environment that one can use wireless internet easily and inexpensively anywhere has been made. So, the customer of railway have needs and desire that could use the wireless internet network as travelling in rolling-stock. Although KTX, KTX-II and some subway agency has built-up wireless internet network and serviced it, it's closed infra and inconvenient environment has been criticized. So, we survey the wireless internet network that is serviced at present and the way to build wirelee internet infra to satisfy the needs of customers.

  • Internet telephony provides voice communication services with added flexibility for multimedia extension at a lower cost compared to traditional telephone systems. We implemented an internet telephony system as an overlay network without a centralized server, using a distributed hash table (DHT). Compared to the current server-based internet telephony system, our system is fault-tolerant, scalable, and can be flexible extended to various services and advanced to integrated service. To demonstrate the high flexibility of our DHT-based internet telephony system, we made our system cooperate with web servers. Web users can check up others' online stales and establish voice communication sessions to online users at a mouse click. This technology can be applied to more complex services such as multimedia messaging or video conference service.

  • We have designed an Internet voting system applicable for worldwide voting which is based on Ohkubo et. al,'s scheme[9] combined with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first trial to serve secure Internet voting system to the world. In our system, voter's privacy is guaranteed by using blind signature and mix-net, and robustness is provided through the threshold encryption scheme. By employing Java technology, we propose a way of typical implementation for internet voting system. Furthermore, PKI permits worldwide key distribution and achieve “one certificate/one vote” policy. Therefore, anyone can participate in the voting if he gets a certificate from Certificate Authority (CA). By the joint work between Korean and Japanese teams, the implementation aims to select MVPs in 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea-Japan$\^$TM/ in easy and friendly manner for any Internet user to participate and enjoy Internet voting.

  • The explosive growth of the Internet brought serious problems to the Internet routing infrastructure. Especially scaling problems is recognized more seriously. The ever increasing user population, as well as multiple other factors including multi-homing, traffic engineering, and policy routing, have been driving the growth of Default Free Zone (DFZ) routing table size at an alarming rate. While it has been long recognized that the existing routing architecture may have serious scalability problems, effective solutions have yet to be identified, developed, and deployed. Recently, several attempts for finding the concrete problems are made. Especially the report of the routing and addressing workshop which the IAB (Internet Architecture Board) held on 2006 is described the problems of the current internet in detail. This document describes those problems and introduces the related activity to solve the problems.

  • Management of internal Internet servers is increasingly becoming an important task. According to meet this requirement, they use service log analysis tools and network monitoring tools. But these are not enough to produce advanced management information considering contents of Internet services. Therefor we propose a system and let it detect Internet server systems existing in internal network and individuate those systems with providing profile. Internet server profile includes system's basic information, network traffic information, and Internet service usage information.
