A Study on the Relationship of the Moving Rate of Product Images in Internet Shopping mall with Price Positioning and Offline Store Image Association (인터넷 쇼핑몰 상품이미지의 움직임 속도와 쇼핑몰 가격대 인지 및 오프라인 상점 이미지 연상에 관한 연구)

  • 인터넷 쇼핑이 점차 대중화되어가면서 다양한 형태의 인터넷 쇼핑몰이 등장하고 있다. 현재 인터넷 쇼핑몰에 사용되는 상품이미지는 움직임이 없는 정적인 JPEG 이미지부터 빠르게 움직이는 동적인 GIF 이미지까지 다양한 형태를 이루고 있다. 이러한 상품이미지의 움직임 속도에 따라 사용자가 인지하는 쇼핑몰 사이트의 가격대와 상품의 가격대가 다를 것으로 예상했으며 사이트의 상품이미지의 지배적인 움직임 속도가 오프라인 상점을 연상하는데 영향을 미칠 것으로 추측하였다. 실험은 같은 상품 이미지를 동적인 움직임 정도에 따라 세 가지로 분류하여 사용자로 하여금 예상되는 쇼핑몰의 가격대를 매기도록 하였고, 어떤 오프라인 상점을 연상하는지 조사한 결과 사용자들은 정적인 상품 이미지를 사용하는 쇼핑몰 페이지를 고가의 인터넷 쇼핑몰로, 동적인 상품이미지를 사용하는 쇼핑몰 페이지를 저가의 인터넷 쇼핑몰로 인식하였다. 또한 상품 이미지의 움직임과 오프라인 상점의 가격대별 연상이 어느 정도 상관관계가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이 연구를 통해 동적인 상품이미지와 정적인 상품이미지가 쇼핑몰의 가격대인지 형성에 미치는 역할을 알아보고 가격 관련 사용자 경험에 시사하는 바를 살펴보았다.

  • The on-line market is sudden and it tilts the effort which various in order to reveal the difference point against the on-line consumer and the off-line consumer from under the environment which grows is. What reveals the on-line consumer and the difference point of off-line consumer two group from like this situation is a possibility of decreasing the place help which establishes a marketing strategy in the each retail trade sleeping field. The research which it sees to sleep it searched for the variable which shows the difference point of shopping orientation of the on-line consumer and off-line consumer two group and it attempted. From the research which it sees shopping propensity shopping it is joyful, it perceives dangerously, with price ceremony and convenient characteristic to classify, it analyzed. Analysis result shopping it is joyful it was rejected, classifies the perception against a danger and a price ceremony and convenient Royal favor two group with the consider variable which it appeared. The namely on-line consumer perceived against a danger lowly, it was sensitive to a price, it appeared with the fact that it pursues a convenient characteristic.

A Study on Life Style and Clothing Purchasing Behaviors of Female Consumers - Focused on Comparison with Adolescence, Middle Age, and Senescence - (여성 소비자의 라이프 스타일과 의복 구매 행동에 관한 연구 - 청년층, 중년층, 노년층을 대상으로 -)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate life style and various clothing purchasing behaviors of female consumers, and to analyze the differences of life style and clothing purchasing behaviors by 3 age groups(adolescence, middle age, and senescence). The subjects were 750 adult women aged from twenties to sixties who live in Daejeon and Chungnam province. The research method is a survey and research instruments consisted of life style questionnaire, clothing purchasing behaviors questionnaires, and demographic attribution. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, variance analysis, Duncan's multiple range test and $X^2$ test, using SPSS program. The research results are follows. First, 6 factors were emerged in life style(appearance-oriented, achieve-oriented, social life-oriented, economic- oriented, equality of sexes-oriented, and leisure- oriented). Second, 5 factors were emerged in shopping orientation(resonable shopping, conspicuous shopping, voluptuous shopping, devoted shopping, and convenient shopping). Third, clothing purchasing behaviors of adult women showed many differences by age groups. Adolescence women considered more criterion including design, price, and color or pattern, purchased their clothing by psychological reason such as fashion change, and used internet as important source of clothing, whereas senescence women purchased by physical reason such as body size change and functional trouble, used friend and sales person as important source of clothing, and purchased clothing at department store and old style market.

  • This study made an analysis on the relation and influence between outdoor wear benefit, clothing selection criteria and purchasing satisfaction. Survey was conducted targeting 20s-30s males and females who have experience of purchasing outdoor wear and 335 sheets of questionnaire were used for final analysis. And statistics package SPSS16.0 was used for analysis of collected materials. A group seeking the trendy brand turned out to give considerable thought to the brand and trend and purchase less than 100,000won at the discount outlet. A group pursuing functional practicality puts an emphasis on the activity and use, and purchases at the internet shopping mall or department store. Regarding material, function, design, style and color as important, a group pursuing individuality and appearance turned out to purchase clothing at various places such as discount outlet, specialty store and internet. A group that is indifferent to clothing appeared not to care about specific elements when selecting outdoor wear. The result of study showed that consumers of outdoor wear show purchasing satisfaction in respect of design, style, color or trend.

Criteria of Evaluating Clothing and Web Service on Internet Shopping Mall Related to Consumer Involvement (인터넷 쇼핑몰 이용자의 소비자 관여에 따른 의류제품 및 웹 서비스 평가기준에 관한 연구)

  • Rapid development of the information technology has influenced on the changes in every sector of human environments. One prominent change in retail market is an increase of electronic stores, which has prompted practical and research interest in the product and store attributes that include consumer to purchase products from the electronic shopping. Therefore many marketers are paying much attention to the criteria of evaluating clothing and web service on internet shopping malls. The purpose of this study is to examine differences of clothing and web service criteria of consumer groups (High-Involvement & High-Ability, Low-Involvement & High-Ability, High-Involvement & Low-Ability, and Low-Involvement & Low-Ability) who are classified into consumer involvement and internet use ability. The subjects of this study were 305 people aged between 19 and 39s, living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area, and having experiences in buying products on the internet shopping. Statistical analyses used for this study were the frequency, percentage, factor analysis, ANOVA and Duncan test. The results of this study were as follows: Regarded on the criteria of evaluating clothing, the low different groups had significant differences in the esthetic, the quality performance and the extrinsic criterion. Both HIHA group and HILA group showed the similar results. They considered every criterion of evaluating clothing more important, compared with other groups. Regarded on the criteria of evaluating web service related to the low different groups, there were significant differences in the factors related to the shopping mall reliance, the product, the satisfaction after purchase, and the promotion and policy criterion. Both HIHA group and HILA group showed the similar results as well. They considered every criterion of evaluating web service more important, compared with other groups. In conclusion, HI groups perceive relatively more dangerous factors which can be occurred during internet shopping. Therefore, internet shopping malls need to provide clothing that can satisfy the HI groups as well as make efforts to remove the dangerous factors on the internet.

Marketing Strategies of Imported Fashion Luxury Brands according to the Types of Retailers (해외 패션 명품 브랜드의 유통업태별 마케팅 전략)

  • The purposes of this paper were to identity the present condition of the imported fashion luxury brands' market arid to analyze the differences of marketing strategies according to the types of retailers. We selected 3 department stores, 5 luxury brands, 5 stores in Dongdeamun Market, and 5 internet luxury shopping malls, and conducted key informant survey to 20 experts. The brands in department stores consisted the goods according to VIPs' pre-orders, sales of the previous year, and fashion trends, and offered the differentiated customer services to VIPs. The stores in Dongdaemun Market bought the products from the parallel importers or imported the goods from the original nations of the brands by themselves. The goods in stock and steady sellers were comprised of the main portion of all products, and leather goods were dominated. The price of goods in stock was about $30\∼50\%$ lower than the normal price of department stores, but the new products' price was only about 10$\%$ lower than that of department stores. Luxury shopping malls could be classified into two types; one conducted both product buying and commission sale, and the other conducted commission sale only. In former case, however, the product buying portion was under 30$\%$. Product assortments and the price strategy were similar to the stores of Dongdeamun Market, and CRM was conducted partially.

  • The explosion of the Internet, and most recently e-commerce, has caused great interest in agent technologies. The development of virtual environments has also increased in the last few years. A growing number of real-time applications use graphics with photorealistic quality, especially in the field of training, but also in the areas of design and ergonomic research. We describe an attempt to develop a framework that provides customers with multimedia information and interactive experiences with a virtual shopping environment. The application presented consists on a virtual visit to a music -store where the user is guided by an intelligent agent named Lizeth which responds in real-time to user's requests with precise information about music, artist's biographies, prices and related products to help the user to make decisions. The potential of UML and the Java programming language is discussed to show their application in the field of intelligent agents as mediators on shopping processes. We conclude that the proposed framework leads to the creation of application with a potentially significant impact in the development of e-commerce systems embedded in virtual environments.

An Exploratory Study of Important Information on Consumer Reviews in Internet Shopping (인터넷 쇼핑 시 중요하게 고려하는 의류상품 구매후기 정보에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • This study investigated the consumer review information considered important by consumers when making a purchase decision to buy apparel products online. Data were collected through focus group interviews. Eleven females in their 20s and 30s, who have extensive experience in reading consumer reviews posted on online apparel stores, participated in the study. The consumer review information considered important by participants is the information related to seven product attributes (size, fabric, design, color, sewing, price, and country of origin), seven benefits (functional, financial, esthetic, emotional, social, utilitarian benefits, and product value compared to price) of the apparel product and four store attributes (return/refund, delivery, reputation/credibility, and customer service). The findings from the study can serve as an important tool in developing survey questions in order to evaluate the quality of consumer review information and help online retailers plan methods to improve the quality of reviews.

  • Recently, the retail industry has created efficient store operations, and has differentiated customer service through the future store. The intelligence of these stores is being applied by using technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), and the business process is being improved through this. The process also focuses on efficient store operations and service developments to provide customers with shopping convenience. The change in trends in the industry means that domestic distribution has already reached maturity. Even in countries where retail industries are mature, such as the U.S. and Europe, recent trends are moving toward maximizing operational efficiency and customer service. The reason is that many retailers have already reached saturation and survived the competition. This paper is a study of a drive-through service for automation and efficiency in receiving service after ordering by a customer of the distribution store. When ordering a product being purchased by a customer, the product picking process is done in a timely fashion through a picking scheduling agent. When the customer enters the store parking lot, a service supports the entry of information and finding a parking place so the customer can quickly pick up the goods. The proposed service can be applied to a retail store drive-through system, the distribution store's delivery system, the digital picking system, and indoor/outdoor large parking management systems, and it is possible to provide one-dimensional customer service through the application of IoT technology.

In the new stream of innovation technology, we can probably feel the fear of tremendous changes, the reverse, also hope to get the opportunity that come out of Internet world. EC(Electronic Commerce) that out of the evolution of Internet technology gets a coporation changes to survive in 21st century. So the corporation must set the strategy to fit a Internet focused society. As one of them, a virtual store is opened on the Internet. Recently, there has been much attention to the Internet shopping mall as a new distribution channel and marketing tool. This study analyzed that the system environment, perceived product risk, easy of order, perceived security risk would have impact on the customer satisfaction in Electronic Commerce. The Purpose of this study is to develope the concept of the determinants of customer satisfaction and to test a theoretical framework that attempts to explain how the perception of satisfaction in Electronic Commerce. The proposed hypotheses were tested internet shopping mall users and the study results show all hypotheses are supported.
