A Service Identification Scheme for the Convergence of Ubiquitous Sensor Networks (유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 융합을 위한 서비스 식별 체계)

  • While converging USN Services, a single physical infrastructure can be used in several services and in several physical infrastructures can make up a single service. Therefore the physical infrastructure and service have to manage separately for effective convergence of USN Services. However, established Identification Scheme is not suitable to distinguish various services that USN provides. This paper suggests USN Service Identification Scheme that can be separated and managed. Through USN Service Identification Scheme suggested, firstly, it is possible to obtain Service Identification Scheme utilizing various technology such as RFID TAG, QR Code, radio broadcasting, etc. because it is possible to process USN Service Identification Scheme. Secondly, it is easy to mange the service, develope the user application program and interlock with established USN Standard technique as view from service provider. Thirdly, it is possible to manage systematically USN Service. Fourthly, users can search USN Service easily, so it can contribute actively for invigoration of USN service. This thesis, firstly, has analyzed about standard related USN Service and USN Identification Scheme. Secondly, this has suggested brand-new USN Service Identification Scheme based on established USN Identification Scheme.

Invariant Classification and Detection for Cloth Searching (의류 검색용 회전 및 스케일 불변 이미지 분류 및 검색 기술)

  • The field of searching clothing, which is very difficult due to the nature of the informal sector, has been in an effort to reduce the recognition error and computational complexity. However, there is no concrete examples of the whole progress of learning and recognizing for cloth, and the related technologies are still showing many limitations. In this paper, the whole process including identifying both the person and cloth in an image and analyzing both its color and texture pattern is specifically shown for classification. Especially, deformable search descriptor, LBPROT_35 is proposed for identifying the pattern of clothing. The proposed method is scale and rotation invariant, so we can obtain even higher detection rate even though the scale and angle of the image changes. In addition, the color classifier with the color space quantization is proposed not to loose color similarity. In simulation, we build database by training a total of 810 images from the clothing images on the internet, and test some of them. As a result, the proposed method shows a good performance as it has 94.4% matching rate while the former Dense-SIFT method has 63.9%.

  • This paper describes a development of next generation information remote retrieval and warning system that enables the user to make slope information retrieval remotely for a rockfall and landslide disaster reduction from mobile environments. And this system will be able to warn with a real-time stability condition about the slope which circumference are contiguous in standard user location. Slope information which provides to the user, become the service which upgrades from depth deep information directness will be able to confirm in order from field with applies multimedia style information which is various. In order to retrieve slope information with the wire and wireless internet from the remote place, we used mobile PC carrying is simple. Also this system attached GPS receiver to mobile PC in order to confirm user location as a real-time from the electronic map from field. Specially this system user location divide the safety of the slope which within the area where are fixed in the center are representative with 'safe area', 'collapse area' and 'collapse forecast area' etc. And to indicate with the icon of each other different color simultaneously in the electronic map. With like that reason, this system which sees the user even while moving safety condition about circumferential slope from the electronic map is having the strong point will be able to grasp with a real-time in one eye. Also warning message leads at the case real-time when the collapse will occur in specific slope, to inform to the user. Therefore this system which sees will be able to reduce the disaster which is caused by in landslide a very big strong point and has.

  • The architectural drawing, construction project specification, etc. are included in the contract of a documents. However, construction project specification, for being documentation, is not utilized to such an extent. The reason is that specification information is difficult in collecting information in relation to the architectural drawing, material finishing list and other architectural information. Therefore, an integrated model, which can be associated with other architectural information, is needed, and a DB based on this integrated model must be established in order for it to be utilized in design, construction, and management. The DB, which is established through this process, must be updated according to modification in design, and construction. Furthermore the specification must be in document on the web for reference. Consequently in this research, the structure of integrated model has been introduced, and it has made the search and preparation of the integrated model on the Internet, using the specification information DB established for the mutual reference of DB, possible. The improvements of construction project specification standards are expected by this system. Also, it will bring about Improvements upon claim prevention, and design, construction, management qualities. Furthermore, it will make the use of information more convenient in practical business such as order agency, design service and building site.

The Effect of Product Type and Channel Prioritization on Effective Digital Marketing Performance (디지털 마케팅 성과에 영향을 미치는 제품의 유형과 디지털 채널 선정에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose - This study aims to build a systematic frame for effective marketing performances by prioritizing product type and pertinent channel that are appropriate for digital channel characteristics. FCB grid model was used to define a product type, and Internet communication satisfaction index was considered as a marketing performance measuring tool for digital channel. Research design, data, and methodology - As systematic understanding for Digital marketing is still unfamiliar to even professional marketer, the hypothesis was established based on preliminary research by conducting a qualitative survey of marketing experts who already experienced digital marketing in the fields as well as existing related study literature. Through a preliminary research, the degree for understanding for digital marketing, current digital marketing (including product/channel mix) execution status, and difficulties for marketers who had experienced digital marketing were figured out. Based on preliminary research, the main part of survey was designed to examine which type of product would be effective for digital marketing and which digital channel would be effective to achieve marketing performance in line with marketing objectives. To collect data, the questionnaire survey was conducted for professional marketers who had experienced digital marketing in 10 different fields including FMCG, cosmetics, distribution industry for one month (July, 10, 2014~Aug, 10, 2014). A total of 90 questionnaire were distributed and 66 questionnaires were used for the analysis, excluding the unanswered and insincere questionnaires. The data were analysed using SPSS ver.18.0. Results - The analysis for product type which is pertinent to digital marketing and prioritization for digital channel per digital marketing performance type could be summarized as followings. First, high involvement buying decision type of product and rational purchasing decision type of product in FCB grid are more effective for digital marketing in terms of marketing performance. Therefore, marketers in field would prioritize considering product type before executing digital marketing. Second, factor for sales increase, potential consumer creation and brand awareness was represented respectively 31.25%, 21.9%, and 20.8% as a result of factor analysis in terms of digital marketing channel performance. Third, effective major digital channel per digital marketing performance factor was differently identified as each digital channel has its own peculiarity. For instance, search engine is more effective for increasing sales while social media such as facebook and Kakaotalk is more effective for encouraging consumer participation. Conclusions - As a result of this study, product type and peculiarity which were pertinently fit to digital marketing were identified by using FCB grid model, and also suggested framework for decision making of digital channel selection in line with marketing objectives for effective marketing performance. It also provided insight to professional marketer which type of product could be effective for digital marketing execution as well as which factors should be measured for digital marketing performance.

  • In the past era, acquisition and utilization of useful information was the main origin of competition. Nowadays, unlike that era, is the era of knowledge information(management) in which we should create a new knowledge on the basis of information and apply it to the field of practice. And more acquisition of information is no more the competitive power of any person, any company and any nation because in such the era of knowledge management, anyone can access and get the information he needs, utilizing internet-based searching system. Such demands of the times of knowledge management change rapidly in each field through knowledge management system and researches about knowledge management are actively processed in various academic branches. However, in our field of design, researches about those demands(knowledge management) still remain on the level of one-dimensional searching service for general data about design. Therefore, in this study, we developed building database of researches on form, color, aesthetical elements, preference image word, satisfaction etc. about CI/BI of home electronics goods, living goods, apparels, and food goods companies, also suggesting searching system through which you can obtain useful data and information helpful for designers to process CI/BI works of new product by using that database. Especially, in case of developing specific CI/BI, various search results through help of suggested system will supply a useful design concept. And more, cross table which is the result of analysis two-dimensional categorical data about existing design factors(such as form, color, aesthetical elements, preference image word, and satisfaction) will make contribution for designers to create a new design knowledge.

  • Recently, with the rapid development of mobile computing, wireless positioning technologies, and the generalization of wireless internet, LBS (Location Based Service) which utilizes location information of moving objects is serving in many fields. In order to serve LBS efficiently, the location data server that periodically stores location data of moving objects is required. Formerly, GIS servers have been used to store location data of moving objects. However, GIS servers are not suitable to store location data of moving objects because it was designed to store static data. Therefore, in this paper, we designed and implemented an extended SLDS(Short-term Location Data Subsystem) for real-time Location Based Services. The extended SLDS is extended from the SLDS which is a subsystem of the GALIS(Gracefully Aging Location Information System) architecture that was proposed as a cluster-based distributed computing system architecture for managing location data of moving objects. The extended SLDS guarantees real-time service capabilities using the TMO(Time-triggered Message-triggered Object) programming scheme and efficiently manages large volume of location data through distributing moving object data over multiple nodes. The extended SLDS also has a little search and update overhead because of managing location data in main memory. In addition, we proved that the extended SLDS stores location data and performs load distribution more efficiently than the original SLDS through the performance evaluation.

A Study on the Influence of Factors That Makes Web Sites Credible (웹사이트의 신뢰성 평가에 영향을 미치는 요인과 각 요인의 중요도에 관한 연구)

  • The Internet is now an integral part of the everyday lives of a majority of people. Web users are becoming increasingly skeptical of the information and services offered online. They are demanding web sites that offer credible information. This study focused on what features of web sites affect the perception of web credibility. For this purpose, I took the responses from 648 people and extracted 49 factors that affect web credibility. I placed the individual factors - the specific questions asked in the survey - into one of four categories expertise. trustworthiness, ads and other and calculated the means for each of the 49 factors. As a result, 29 out of 49 factors increase the Perceptions of credibility and 20 factors decrease the web credibility. Sites with frequently update. the credentials of authors, strict content guides, search capabilities, clear connections to the real world fared good in credibility. Technical problems such as broken links, site sown, or typographical errors were rated the most negative on this scale On the other end of the scale, a domain name that ends in' .org' or' .or.kr' caused little change in perception of credibility.

A study on reduction of sensibility dimension for selection of wallpaper (벽지 선택을 위한 감성 차원 축소에 관한 연구)

  • The sensitivity adjectives on wall paper are collected. With the collected sensitivity adjective, we are going to develop the model which can recommend the wallpaper to customer. A large number of adjectives describing affective responses were collected from such diverse sources as questionnaire survey results, field survey results and internet survey result. To search the representative adjective of collected adjective, we used the diverse statistical analysis method. We attempted to decide the axis name of dimension through the MDS(Multi-Dimensional Scale) analysis method using the similarity matrix an4 to find a three or four reduced factors through the factor analysis method using the varimax rotation method. The result of the analysis showed that the reduced factors could account about $82\%$ when the number of factor is three(popular, elegance, and passable) ant about $93\%$ when the number of factor is four (elegance, passable, beautiful, and affectionate) On the basis of this result, we expect it can be used to develop the model recommending the wallpaper.
