본고는 미국의 도서관전산화, 도서관간의 협력, 인터넷과 정보서비스, 도서관정보서비스기관의 현황과 동향에 관하여 기술한 것이다. 도서관전산화시스템은 클라언트/서버 환경하에서 웹기반 기술을 적용하여 통합된 시스템을 구축하고 있으며, 디지털도서관 구축사업이 활발하게 진행중이다. 도서관간의 협력은 콘소시아를 형성하고 있는데 국가수준에는 ARL/AAU와 지역단위에는 CIC가 있고 주단위의 정보네트워크는 GALILEO, LLN, OhioLink, TexShare, VIVA, ILLINET 등이 있다. 인터넷과 월드와이드웹이 도서관에 미치는 영향이 지대하여 각 도서관들은 인터넷정보자원을 활용한 부가가치정보서비스를 개발하고 있다. 마지막으로 의회도서관, 국립농업도서관, 국립의학도서관 교육정보센터, 국립기술정보서비스의 최근 정보활동을 소개한다.

본 연구는 개인정보처리자 관점에서 개인정보보호 활동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고, 개인정보처리자 스스로 보호 활동을 강화하기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 요인 탐색을 위해 보호동기이론을 바탕으로 위협평가와 대처평가요인으로 대표되는 주요 요인을 선정하였으며, 요인별 영향분석을 위해 다항로짓모형을 활용하였다. 분석결과, 소규모 개인정보를 보유한 영세 개인정보처리자는 스스로 개인정보 보호 활동을 수행할 수 있도록 보호조치 점검도구 등 시스템 및 기술지원과 인식제고를 위한 교육지원이 필요하다. 그리고 대규모 개인정보를 보유한 개인정보처리자는 예산 및 조세지원 등 개인정보 보호 강화를 위한 투자를 장려하며, 실무 중심의 전문교육 지원이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

Recently international trade environment has been rapidly changed according to information age. In particular, international trade has been carried out with various ways under the digital revolution. In this regard, the companies are handling their business with the open network internet and doing their critical marketing activities which are very different from the existed trade customs. However, trade-related information database which is necessary to import and export activities is partly built, and there are many issues to be settled down. In other words, electronic trade opportunity website in the field of overseas marketing and customs clearance with EDI(electronic data interchange) are developed, but the database which companies can make use of their businesses is not fully supported. Therefore the structured database should be developed urgently from the stage of opening business to that of payment. This study closely analyzes the databases under the trade procedure, look into the problems of those database and suggest the solutions of trade information databases. Finally this study provides a sort of trade infrastructure for the development of international trade by internet through the building of trade information.

최근 들어 인터넷의 고속화 및 실시간 서비스 지원에 대한 요구 사항이 증대되고 있다. 인터넷의 고속화 및 QoS (Quality of Service) 보장을 최적으로 지원하는 서브넷 (Subnet)으로 ATM 망이 유력하다. 본 논문에서는 우선, 이러한 추세를 반영하여 최근 IETF와 ATM Forum을 중심으로 활발히 전개되고 있는 인터넷과 ATM의 통합을 위한 프로토콜 표준화 동향을 분석한다. 이에는 ATM Forum에서 진행 중인 LAN Emulation, MPOA와, IETF에서 작업 중인 IP/ATM, NHRP, RSVP 및 IS/ATM 등이 포함된다. 다음, 향후 인터넷과 ATM이 통합되어가는 발전 방향에 대한 전망을 돕기 위하여 통합의 형태를 고찰하고 통합 방식에 대한 분류를 시도한다.

Using internet, most of students are still exposed to unreasonable commercial information and even tend to consumptive behaviors. Various programs have been mobilized to keep it with a blockade system against the noxious information. But guidance is more instructive than blockade in respect of education. Thus, the focus of this study is to induce and motivate their self-directed learning activities with internet guide contents. We develope a learning guidance material as one of the information platforms. Furthermore, we consider the availability of such learning guidance materials through interview and observation. We find that easy and meaningful internet access and utilizing environment influence the children's self-directed learning ability.

This paper deals with the following research topics on the basis of the service quality of Internet Banking. First, the components of the Internet Banking service will be described and the appropriate quality measures will be devised for the smooth Internet Banking. Second, the prerequisite variable such as the Internet Banking service quality, customer satisfactions and purchasing behavior are theoretically analysed. Third, it is discussed how the perceived quality of Internet Banking affects the purchasing activities of the customers. Finally, it will be discussed that these results are meaningful in establishing the marketing strategies of bank industry.

This paper is to develop an information infrastructure to support managing process in design, planning, production, and quality control. Multi-media data set of design, product, and management information flow between organizational units of a virtual enterprise. The process is the logical organization of people, technology and practices incorporated into work activities to make an end product. The core of the infrastructure is the enterprise framework which coordinates activities and controls the process. The proposed framework manages collaborative activities across space and time, and between users and computers who share information in virtual community. It utilizes knowledge distributed through virtual community and fosters cooperation between organizations. The framework provides the following facilities； coordinating activities, sharing data and processes, visualizing multi-media data, customizing and updating processes, reusing data and processes. This paper covers design and manufacturing activities but our focus is initially targeted at design area.

This study was intended to suggest the design guidelines of digital home on the basis of digital-related human behavior. In order to achieve this, what and how often internet was used in the home, how living pattern and space usage was changing according to digitalization were examined and lastly, the design guidelines of digital home based on these findings were suggested. The subjects were 400 housewives who lived In 85m'-sized housing unit of the new apartment complex in Busan. They were average age of 38 and their eldest children were in the stage of elementary schooling or preschooling. Many of them had relatively high educational level and middle income level. The results of the study were as follows; 1) The respondents used internet more frequently for information searching, children's education, and Internet shopping. Therefore, it would be desirable to divide zoning of housing unit into space for routine activities, space for working, and for cultural activities. 2) Digitalization changed human living pattern like follows; it reduced time of shopping, information searching, banking, and going out. Also, it increased time of spending alone, watching movie, and playing game. Therefore, digital home should be designed to facilitate social Interaction between family members, cultural and recreational activities, and indoor or outdoor exercise within each housing unit or in apartment complex.

현재 초등학생에게 인터넷을 가르칠 수 있는 여러 언플러그드 활동들이 개발되어 있다. 그러나 이 활동들은 인터넷의 작동 원리를 가르치는 것이 주목적이기 때문에, 초등학생들에게 웹(Web)의 개념을 알려주기에는 충분하지 않다. 웹은 인터넷처럼 제3차 산업혁명의 핵심 기술일 뿐만 아니라 학생들이 매일 접하는 기술이기 때문에 기본 상식으로 알아둘 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 초등학생에게 웹을 이해시키기 위해, PageRank 알고리즘의 원리를 이해하는 언플러그드 활동을 개발하였다. 개발된 언플러그드 활동은 실제 PageRank 알고리즘을 상당히 높은 정확도로 모사한다는 것을 실험적으로 나타내었다.

서울여대 인터넷 보안 그룹인 스윙에 대해 소개하고, 현재 진행중인 연구활동에 대한 간략한 소개와 그중 안티바이러스 연구에 대해 좀 더 구체적으로 설명하도록 하겠다. 안티바이러스 연구의 내용 중 바이러스 감염 경로, 진단 방법, 기존 안티바이러스 엔진 동작 연구 수행 활동과 앞으로의 연구 방향에 대해서 다루도록 하겠다.
