Evaluation analysis on compatibility of English homepage for tourist information (영문 관광안내 홈페이지 웹호환성 평가 연구)

  • The objective of this research is to evaluate the web standard as well as web compatibility of English homepage of tourist information manage local government. Thru this research, effective information and service can be provided to increasing foreign visitors and compatibility of English homepage can be strengthened. SortSite, a web compatibility measurement tool and UNICORN, a web standard measurement tool were utilized for this research. Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Opera were targeted for evaluating web compatibility and observance rate of Markup grammar and CSS grammar was checked for evaluating web standard. Research result showed that 46.7% of Chrome version ${\leq}34$ and 35 didn't observe the web compatibility while 95.6%, 53.3%, 53.3%, 53.3% and 55.6% of Internet Explorer version in order of 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10.0 and 11.0 didn't observe the web compatibility. Concerning Firefox, 75.6% and 48.9% of version in order of ${\leq}6.0$ and 7.0 didn't observe the web compatibility and 37.8% of Opera version ${\leq}12.17$ and ${\leq}21$ didn't observe the web compatibility. Regarding the web standard, 80% of English homepage didn't observe Markup grammar and 60% of them didn't observe CSS grammar. Therefore, urgent improvement of web compatibility and web standard is required.

  • A web based E-mail system consists of serves which supply mail accounts and service, and clients which take part of interfacing with users. The web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer are the popular clients. Users who cannot afford to get an E-mail id in general mail servers are, therefore, able to reach a e-mailing service in the web environment by using client programs in connection with a mail server. Although the quality of service has been upgraded a lot in recent days, it doesn't provide with satisfactory services anymore. In this paper, we intend to design a mail agent system based on the web environment. Through this system we could reach a convenient user interface based on Internet Explorer and could easily access administratory environment on the basis of NT Server 4.0. Using the service engine dominent in mail agent system, it could provide with convenient user interfacing tools like responding the absence of users, mail filtering and refusing messages, etc. And it would ultimately make possible a constant system security, by preventing system failure phenomena caused by extraordinary uses beyond its capability.

  • It is not an exaggeration that the world is connected by the internet currently. The must people using a computer are making the most of the internet. We use the web browser to connect the internet. By using the current a variety of browsers including Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, we understand the advantages and disadvantages of them and make the customized web browser MPK by using visual basic programming language.

  • A Internet-based dynamic simulation system, called P-DYN, for multibody dynamic systems is developed. All the interfaces of the system are accessible via Web browsers, such as Netscape or Explorer. The system uses a template type P-DYN/Modeler as a preprocessor. The P-DYN postprocessor composed of P-DYN/Plotter and P-DYN/Animator is developed in JAVA. The P-DYN/Solver for predicting the dynamic behavior is run on the server. Anyone who wants to simulate the dynamics of multibody systems or share results data can access the analysis system over the Internet regardless of their OS, platform, or location.

  • Pharming attack is a confidence trick that the hacker catch away customers financial information on Internet banking. At first, a hacker installs malicious execution code on customers PC in secret. As a customer tries to connect a Internet banking Web site, the malicious code changes it to phishing site in Internet explorer. The hacker catch away customers financial information in process of internet banking. The hacker steals money from customer's bank account using stolen information. PKI is a widespread and strong technology for providing the security using public key techniques. The main idea of PKI is the digital certificate that is a digitally signed statement binding an user's identity information and his public key. The Internet banking service stands on the basis of PKI. However, the bank is trusted in natural, the only customer is certified in the present Internet banking. In this paper, we propose a method of cross certification in Internet banking. The customer certify a bank and the bank certify the customer in proposed method. The method can service to customer the secure Internet banking about pharming attack. We compare the proposed method with other methods.

  • Since most of the conventional web servers have been designed to Provide the general purpose and user's convenience as the primary goal, there is an overhead to apply them to the embedded system for remote monitoring and controlling the operation status of the Internet appliance. To cope with this overhead, an embedded Linux web server Is suggested in this paper The basic concept is to provide miniaturization and extendability by simplifying the requirements of web server as the services to the requests of web document for the user's menu and the execution of CGI Program for monitoring and controling the Internet appliance, and satisfying only the indispensable requirements of HTTP which are necessary for the interface with the conventional web browsers. For the evaluation of its feasibility, each module has been implemented on Linux environment, and tested with the MS Explorer 6.0.

  • 윈도우즈 비스타(Windows Vista)는 용이성, 안전성, 연결성, 엔터테인먼트 기능의 향상을 기반으로 한다. 특히 사용자계정 제어, 악성 프로그램에 대한 보호 기능, 인터넷 익스플로러 7(Internet Explorer 7)의 보호 모드, Windows Defender 등의 제공으로 개선된 보안기능을 제공한다. 기존 응용 프로그램의 대부분은 관리자 권한만을 고려하여 설계 및 작성되었으므로 보안이 강화된 윈도우즈 비스타에서는 호환성에 대한 문제가 제기되었다. 본고에서는 윈도우즈 비스타로 인해 발생한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 새로운 플랫폼이라는 관점에서 대응책을 제안한다.

  • We call WBI the educational program of this new teaching method which uses the web system. The instruction in WBI settings can make students feel more excited and interested in learning activities because it combined various sorts of multimedia materials such as moving pictures, graphics, and sound.. The diverse learning contents of this program not only supplement student's needs but also stimulate their creativities and application abilities. Based on the internet web courseware, this paper attempts to suggest the new program. This design implements the text, image and sound by using Explorer 5.0 in HTML, Javascript, Photoshop 5.0, Flash 4.0, and finally Gif Construction.

  • Classroom of latest primary school and secondary school is taking advantage of web activity in instruction. Must use web browser compulsorily to take advantage of web, classroom of our country is using Internet Explorer web browser that offer in Microsoft mostly. This web browser can say that necessary function is very lacking in primary school and secondary school classroom instruction by thing for ordinary people. Thus, to solved lacking, this study presented inconvenient of Internet Explorer web browser that use in existing. And searched improvement plan in reply. Also, embodied web browser that actuality practical use is possible reflecting this in design. Web browser that embody confirmed that satisfaction which is excellent through spot application is. To be more efficient and utilizes as class effectively, this web browser may be beaconed to primary school and secondary school teacher and students of our country.
