This project is planned to grasp the present situation of traditional medicine part in our country and to study protection method about this by the intellectual property which is the international concerning point recently. Through this, we will be able to devise means to deal with protection method of traditional medicine being developed by WIPO now. Traditional medicine field In our country Is organized with specific condition separated into the part of institution and the part of non-institution. So, because of the closed peculiarity, we have experienced the difficulties to understand the real facts about traditional medicine. We cannot be indifferent to the matter anymore. Because the expectation of object people is high, we could expect the realization of research content. In 1 detail project, we investigated the situation of traditional medicine in our country through various collecting methods for excavation of oriental treatment technique and herb medicine which is worth protecting. With it, we sorted again into 56 kinds of 11 parts through analysis of validity in the way of oriental medicine. And we tried to link this up 2 detail project which is about legal and institutional guarantee concerning protection. furthermore, we tried to find approach ways for security of objectivity into 4 steps with the example of model disease. we could complete practical classification of traditional medicine in our country. In 2 detail project, we studied the protection method by the intellectual property through research result in 1 detail project. For this, we observed an outline of the intellectual property including a patent application analysis in folk traditional medicine part, and problems of traditional medicine protection and world trend by traditional knowledge protection tendency and the patent law In domestic traditional medicines, the aspects unprotectable with the patent law now were remained. So, we suggested supplementary plan. And we also suggested the freedom of utilization between traditional medicine possession countries (in-situ utilization) and the demand compensation payment for a third country (ex-situ utilization) in connection with international movement.

This study for the development of water purification Artificial floating island maximizing domestic Artificial floating island patent trends and product development, according to the timing of patent registration was analyzed for trends. This patented product differentiation strategy through the analysis of the development of technology progressiveness (Field Application) in terms of water quality improvement and maintenance side, and the hydrophilic side scenery, ecological restoration aspects, and applicability to the field and taking into account existing technology economic aspects of distinction were presented and advertised a lot in terms of cost compared to other techniques without the use of highly efficient methodology for building a water purification and also appears identity appeal, wetlands, rivers, etc. can be applied broadly technician widespread deployment and installation time to less simple and more are expected to spread.

Many researchers are trying to acquire intellectual properties on the promising technologies for prior occupation in their area. For this, the number of patents as a result of researches is increasing. In spite of the tendency in research of oriental medicine, the results have been focused on research papers. In this paper, we have reported patents around the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine(KIOM) to find trends in patents in the field of oriental medicine. There are 211 Korea patents and 8 USA patents. Most of these patents are fouced on "medical" and "diagnosis" areas.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the technology convergence and its characteristics, focusing on the defense technologies in South Korea. Methods: Patents applied by the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) during 1979~2019 were utilized in this paper. Information Entropy analysis has been conducted on the patents to analyze the usability and potential for development. To analyze the trend of technology convergence in defense technologies, Social Network Analysis(SNA) and Association Rule Mining Analysis were applied to the co-occurrence networks of International Patent Classification (IPC) codes. Results: The results show that sensor, communication, and aviation technologies played a key role in recent development of defense science and technology. The co-occurrence network analysis also showed that the convergence has gradually enhanced over time, and the convergence between different technology sectors largely emerged, showing that the convergence has been diversified. Conclusion: By analyzing the patents of the defense technologies during the last 30 years, this study presents the comprehensive perspectives on trends and characteristics of technology convergence in defense industry. The results of this study are expected to be used as a guideline for decision making in the government's R&D policies in defence industry.

Many companies are developing a numerous number of new products and business models for their sustainable growth. First, their unique technological capability needs to be obtained to develop new products and services. However, as the applicable period of a technology into its industrialization becomes shorter and shorter, the necessity of technological convergence is increasing. Therefore, this study aims to look at the patent status in Korea for the last ten years to analyze in which direction technological convergence had advanced and further compare the patent status in Korea with that in U.S., Europe, and Japan. In addition, this study looks at the impact of converged patent technology on the sales in relevant industries. To this end, this study collected 5,000 patents applied from 2000 to 2009 for the last ten years in Korea, U.S., and Europe every year and conducted network analysis by using UCINET, social network analysis program. In this study, we drew our research findings as follows: First, we could find that technological convergence increased over time and what technology was in the center of fusion. Second, our correlation analysis found that as we had more technological convergence, it was more related to the sales in relevant industries.

This paper research the trend of technology of the high efficient and reliability machining center and high flexibility parallel manipulator machining center including linear motor machining center, submicron machining center and direct drive 5 axis machining center using patent information of Korea, U.S.A, Japan and Europe. By using this, the technique level of Korea, the International trend of technology and condition of cooperation research was estimated and the necessity of research and development performance about the machining center for the IT part processing were inquired.

지식과 정보의 중요성이 강조되는 지식기반사회에서는 지식재산권의 대표적인 유형인 특허의 중요성이 날로 높아지고 있고, 그 수 또한 급증하고 있다. 특허 문서의 효과적 검색과 이용을 위해서는 새롭게 출원되는 특허 문서의 체계적인 분류 작업이 선행되어야 하고, 따라서 방대한 양의 특허 문서를 자동으로 분류해주는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 Doc2Vec 모델을 이용하여 국내 특허 문서의 특징(feature)을 추출하고, 추출된 특징을 바탕으로 한 특허 문서의 자동 분류 모형을 제안한다. 먼저 국내에 등록된 31,495 건의 특허 문서의 IPC(International Patent Classification)와 요약정보를 바탕으로 Doc2Vec 모델을 구축하였다. 구축된 Doc2Vec 모델을 통하여 훈련데이터의 특징을 추출한 후, 이 특징 벡터를 이용하여 분류기를 학습하였다. 마지막으로 Doc2Vec 모델을 이용하여 실험데이터의 특징 벡터를 추출하고 분류기의 성능을 실험한 결과, 43%의 분류 정확도를 얻었다. 이를 통해, 특허 문서 분류 문제에 Doc2Vec 모델의 사용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

This article focuses on the legal systems and practice of intellectual property protection in Japan and China, including the relating civil litigation and administrative litigation procedures. The challenge of balancing the relationship between an invalidation trial and an invalid defense during the process of civil patent infringement litigation is a common issue to be solved in both Japan and China. In addition, it is quite usual that the IP products are being imported and exported across the borders due to the expansion of international trade. Accordingly, one of the most symbolic and difficult issues is how to balance the development of international trade and IP protection in each country. In other words, there is a practical issue regarding whether a parallel import of patented products is acceptable to a country or not. The key to determining this issue depends on the judgment of international exhaustion.

Today, the term of fusion, such as technology convergence and industrial convergence, is emerging as one of the most important trends in our society. The purpose of this study is to analyze the convergence coefficient of each industry using patent data and to analyze the convergence phenomenon in industry based on convergence coefficient. To do this, 2011-2015 Korean patent data were utilized. The research findings revealed that the ICC by industry was the highest in order of man-made fibres, paints/varnishes, petroleum products/nuclear fuel and other chemicals. Also, according to the inter-industry convergence matrix, the number of convergence patents was the greatest in order of office machinery and computers, special purpose machinery industries and Measuring instruments. Added same analysis was conducted through Industry with high number of patents. As a result, the convergence has been actively carried out in the fields of optical instruments, Basic chemical, Fabricated metal products, Measuring instruments and special purpose machine manufacturing industries.
