As the international society becomes more and more open, the international marine transportation demand is growing. And the growth of international tour demands and the developments of new passenger ship routes make the role of passenger terminals crucial. In this context this study analyzes and compares the terminals of Korea and Japan and defines design criteria for the construction of a passenger terminal. As a result of this study, it is proposed that an urban context, an architectural type and spatial characteristics be taken into account for the construction cf a passenger terminal. The ultimate purpose cf this study is to build a future-oriented international passenger terminal based on the result of this study, which will lead the ocean culture.

Although Jeju is the best cruise Secondary port in Northeast Asia, currently there are no dedicated cruise terminals. The port international passenger terminal opened in 2015 has a ferry terminal for offshore passengers and a cruise passenger function. Jeju Island is therefore constructing a cruise only terminal with the aim of opening in 2018 to meet the growing passenger demand at the Seoguipo civilian and public ports along with construction of a naval base at Gangjeong Port in Seogwipo City. It also plans to build cruise docks and cruise terminals in the Jeju New Port according to the Jeju port construction basic plan. However, during the construction and planning process of cruise terminals in Jeju, the adequacy of the terminal size is being debated and the immigration facilities are being operated. Therefore, the study analyzed the size of terminals and operation of immigration facilities appropriate for cruise passenger demand by investigating the status of cruise related facilities and operation in Jeju area. Based on this, the Commission hopes to explore the rational direction of the cruise terminal plan to revive the cruise industry in Jeju and provide high quality service to cruise passengers.

Due to implementation of legislations for translation poor such as handicapped people, elderlies, children most public buildings are now integrating barrier free design methods. However, barrier free design is still considered as constraints of physical elements that only serve to meet functional aspects for minors and conflict with designs of the space. The authors believe that it is time that barrier free design is considered not as constraints but opportunities that both meet functional and aesthetical needs serving the growing population of transportation poor and others as well. This paper has looked into characteristics of transportation poor and barrier free design elements of passenger terminals and developed 4 categories of design methods. applied by using human sense, form, furniture, and architectural elements. Then the authors analyzed Gunsan International and coastal passenger terminal existing conditions which is considered to be designed to meet barrier free guidelines and legislations through the developed design categories and elements. The result turned out that the subject in regard of barrier free designs for transportation poor lack various applications such as forms that can be used as symbolic and directional elements that assists as wayfinding cues. Also, flexible and multi functional approaches in furniture arrangements, structural approaches are needed.

본 연구의 목적은 인천항 국제여객터미널의 컨테이너화물 기종점 분석을 통해 향후 한중 카페리 컨테이너 화물유치를 위한 마케팅 자료와 인천 남항에 신축 예정인 국제여객터미널 개발에 필요한 정책적 제언을 하는데 있다. 인천항 국제여객터미널 화물 기종점 분석결과 컨테이너화물 처리량은 인천항 전체의 20%를 차지하고 있으며, 인천항 화물의 증가와 더불어 증가하고 있다. 화물의 국내이동 경로는 인천, 서울, 경기 등 수도권 지역에 집중화 되어 있다. 수출화물 물동량의 경우 전체화물의 71.4%가 수도권으로부터 유입되고 있으며, 수입화물은 전체화물의 87.7%가 수도권으로 이동하고 있다. 이에 수도권 화물의 편중현상이 강한 국제여객터미널 카페리 항로의 물동량을 늘리기 위해서 수도권 이외의 지역 물량을 유치하기 위한 마케팅 전략을 제시하였다. 또한 인천항은 남항에 신규 건설 예정인 국제여객터미널의 개발에 필요한 시사점과 세계적인 공항인 인천국제공항과 인접하여 있어 해륙간 육송(Sea & Air)화물의 신규창출을 위한 글로벌 마케팅전략을 제시하였다.

In this study, we reviewed access transportation, operating companies, and airport infrastructure to revitalize Cheongju International Airport. Regarding access transportation infrastructure, it is necessary to promote a railway network connecting the metropolitan inland line and the central inland region. In addition, active administrative support from local governments is required to ensure smooth progress in railway and highway infrastructure linkage projects, such as the Osong Connecting Line and Chungbuk Line, high-speed rail network promotion, and expansion of the Chungbuk Eastern Axis Expressway and Central Expressway. Regarding operator access infrastructure, continuous efforts are required to add and attract airlines based at Cheongju International Airport. Regarding airport infrastructure, the Cheongju International Airport runway needs complete resurfacing due to its deterioration. Domestic passenger capacity has exceeded 6.5%, and considering the increase in import and export of high value-added goods in the North Chungcheong region, it is necessary to build and expand passenger terminals and cargo terminals. Cheongju International Airport's runway does not have enough runway length to operate large and ultra-large aircraft, so if it is extended from the existing 2,744m to 456m to 3,200m, several benefits can be expected in terms of revitalizing Cheongju Airport, such as route expansion.

In the past 20 years, passenger and cargo transportation performance at the international passenger ports in Korea have increased by 8.6% on the compound annual growth rate, respectively. The Korean government had expected to continue expanding the market of car ferries and the government included plans for the development of additional routes and lanes with neighboring countries such as China, J apan, and Russia as a part of the Plan of the Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in 2019. However, compared to the development of routes, the management and operation of passenger terminals are inefficient. The purpose of this paper was to introduce the overall improvement of the passenger terminal operating system that reflects the recent changes in the supply and demand of international passenger vessels and the needs of the government and private sector passengers. To this end, a basic survey was conducted on the status of operations and facilities at the Busan International P assenger Terminal and a questionnaire survey was administered on the subject of use. The results of the survey were analyzed using the IPA model. As a result of the analysis, three items in the operation sector, three items in the facility sector, and four items in the system sector of the Busan International Passenger Terminal were identified as in need of improvement. Based on the results, the need for investment to improve the international passenger terminal operating system is suggested.

최근 소득수준 증가와 주5일제 근무의 정착에 따라 관광수요가 지속적으로 늘어남에 따라 국제여객 터미널을 이용하는 승객이 매년 증가하는 추세이다. 그러나 그동안 항만분야 연구는 화물유치에 초점을 맞추어 온 관계로 국내외를 불문하고 국제여객터미널의 집객전략에 관한 연구는 소홀히 다루어져 왔다. 국제여객터미널의 집객전략은 항만(터미널)의 속성을 반영한 항만마케팅전략과 배후지역의 속성을 반영한 관광마케팅 전략이 통합적으로 수립 운영될 때 그 효과가 극대화될 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 항만선택이론, 항만마케팅이론에 관한 기존 문헌연구를 기반으로 대산항 국제여객터미널의 마케팅믹스 전략을 제시하는 한편, 일본항만들의 집객전략 사례연구를 통해 6A요소를 기반으로 한 서산시의 관광마케팅전략을 제시하였다. 정책적 제안으로는 서산 대산항이 충남권 대중국 인적교류의 주요 거점으로 발전하기 위한 서산시의 Grand Image Up 전략, 테마형, 체험형, 교류형 관광상품 개발, 해양관광자원의 활용, 다양한 지역특색의 관광컨텐츠 개발 및 인근지역과 연계한 관광상품 개발 등을 제시하였다.

오늘날 기업 경영에 있어서 경쟁력 있는 글로벌한 공급사슬의 형성을 중요하게 간주되고 있다. 특히, 물류 및 운송부문에 있어서 서비스를 매우 중요한 가치 영역으로 보고 있다. 더욱이 동북아 허브 공항이 되기 위한 치열한 경쟁 속에서 인천국제공항 여객터미널의 서비스품질은 매우 중요한 영역이다. 본 연구는 인천국제공항의 여객터미널 서비스품질 측정 요인 및 항목을 선정하고 이용자 및 서비스 제공자간의 인식의 차이를 측정하며 서비스품질에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 확인한 후, 선호투표에 의한 자료포락분석을 통해 서비스품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 선호 요인과 항목을 찾아내었다. 연구 분석 결과 첫째, 인천국제공항 여객터미널의 서비스품질에 대한 요인은 신뢰성, 반응성 보증성, 공감성, 교통운영 편의시설, 출입국 심사, 환경적 요인 등 8가지 요인. 33개의 항목이 선정되었다. 여객터미널 이용자 및 서비스 제공자간의 서비스품질 측정 결과, 총 33개 항목 중에서 공항이용객과 IIAC 직원들 간에는 29개의 항목, 공항이용객과 항공사 직원들 간에는 7개의 항목, 항공사 직원들과 IIAC 직원들 간에는 31개의 항목에서 서비스 이용자 및 서비스 제공자간에 인식의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여객터미널 서비스품질 상업시설 서비스, 여객터미널 접근의 편리성, 항공사의 서비스품질, IIAC의 지역사회 공헌 등은 인천국제공항 서비스품질 전체 만족도에 영향을 미치는 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 밝혀냈다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic aspect of sea transportation system between Inchon and Youngjong island in which Inchon international airport is being constructed. Total demand of sea transportation arising from in the airport and Yongyu Muwi leisure complex was estimated. To select optimum transportation route, environmental conditions in and around Inchon harbour and Youngjong island including the change of water depth by tide current, fog, rain, wind adn typhoon, ets., were investigated. The preliminary consideration on ships (size, velocity, transport capacity, price), routes, operational modes, terminals and berthing facilities were carried out. The transportation cost per passenger by sea transportation system was estimated to compare with that of land transportation system. It was found that sea transportation system proposed is competitive to the transportation system.

오늘날 현대적 국가는 UN 장애인의 권리에 관한 협약을 비준하여 장애인이 차별받지 않는 환경을 조성하고 있다. 세계해사기구에서 1996년에 노인 및 장애인의 요구에 부응하기 위한 여객선의 설계 및 운영에 관한 권고안을 제시하였다. 우리나라에서는 교통약자의 이동편의 증진법이 시행되어 선박, 차량, 항공기, 철도 및 여객시설에 장애인편의시설이 신속하게 설치되고 있다. 하지만 해상교통환경은 안전에 관한 관심에 비하여 장애인에 대한 배려가 부족한 편이다. 본 연구에서는 현장 조사와 문헌조사를 통해 우리나라에서 장애인에 대한 해상교통환경을 개선하는 기초적 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과 연안여객운송의 상당부분을 담당하는 유선과 도선 및 소규모 항구는 관련 법규의 적용이 제외되어 있었다. 또한 선박과 터미널에 장애인 교통편의시설의 설치율이 낮을 뿐만 아니라 낙후된 장비를 고려하고 있었다. 따라서 법령의 보완과 향상된 장애인 교통편의 시설을 신속하게 구축하여 인류보편적 가치인 장애인에 대한 인권을 보호해야 한다.
