The Effect of Green Juice of Angelica keiskei Koidz on the Toxicity of Several Selected Elements

  • In order to study the effects of green juice of Angelica keiskei Koidz on the toxicity of several selected elements, experiments were conducted with mice for a period of six weeks. The results obtained from the experiment are summarized as follows ; 1) Mice fed with 50 ppm of cadmium showed no adverse effects on the growth rate and mortality , but cadmium accumulation into the internal organs. 2) mice fed with 500ppm of lead showed no reduced effect on the growth rate and mortality, but lead accumulation was increased in the internal organs. The administration of green juice slightly reduced lead accumulation in the internal organs. 3) Mice fed with 50 ppm of selenium also showed no serious adverse effect of the growth rate and mortality , but selenium accumulation occurred in the internal organs. The administration of green juice slightly reduced selenium accumulation in the internal organs, but the modes and degrees of reduction in selenium accumulation were not consistent with the internal organs, liver, kidney and pancreas. 4) Mice fed with 500 ppm of chromium showed, numerically , an adverse effect on the growth rate, but showed no statistically significant difference. The administration of green juice rather increased the accumulation of chromium instead of reduction of chromium accumulation in the internal organs.

Comparison of the Measured Electrical Properties of Pig Internal Organs with the Given Values for Human Organs

  • The electrical properties of pig internal organs including lung, liver, heart, kidney, blood, stomach, and small intestine are measured using an open-ended coaxial probe and an improved virtual transmission-line model. The measured complex permittivities of the pig organs are compared with the given values of the corresponding human organs. A similarity between these values is confirmed. For organs such as lung, liver, heart, and kidney that have regular texture and contents, the complex permittivities are almost identical to those of the corresponding human organs. The complex permittivities of human and pig blood are also very close in value. However, relatively large deviations are observed for the cases of stomach and small intestine because the internal contents of these organs significantly affect the measured electrical properties.

  • Objective To learn if there were different characteristics of tongue demonstration between diseases caused by exogenous pathogenic factor and disorder of internal organs. Methods Choosing 3059 cases from 51 medical records of Qing Dynasty, in which 1397 cases were diagnosed as diseases caused by exogenous pathogenic factor and 1110 were disorder of internal organs. Contrasting the constituent ratio of tongue demonstration using chi-square test. Results There were significant deviation between diseases caused by exogenous pathogenic factor and disorder of internal organs in color of tongue, color of fur and quality of fur (p<0.01). Conclusions the characteristics of tongue demonstration in diseases caused by exogenous pathogenic factor were high frequency of bright red tongue, yellow fur, blank fur and dry fur; and which in disorder of internal organs were high frequency of white tongue, thin fur, greasy fur and exfoliative fur.

소 및 돼지의 정육과 내부장기중의 항생물질 잔류 조사 (Detection of Antibiotic Residues in Meats and Internal Organs of Cattle and Pigs)

  • The purpose of the present survey was to evaluate the antibiotic residues in meats and internal organs such as muscle, liver, heart, kidney and spleen of cattle (n=59) and pigs (n=115). The EEC-4-plate-method were employed. The results were obtained as follows ; 1. In BS 6.0, BS 7.2 and BS 8.0 used as media to detect antibiotic residues, the zone($M{\pm}SD,$ cm) of bacterial growth inhibition was narrow($1.40{\pm}0$) in meats, whereas the zone was wide($1.69{\pm}0.25-1.88{\pm}0.23$ and $1.58{\pm}0.18-1.86{\pm}0.15$ in cattle and pigs, respectively) in internal organs. But in SL 8.0, it was difficult to detect the zones ($0-1.40{\pm}0$) of both meats and internal organs. 2. Residues of antibiotic in beef and pork were rarely detected in BS 6.0, BS 7.2 and BS 8.0 (range 1.7-11.9% and 2.6-4.3%, respectively), whereas residual percentages of internal organs were relatively higher(range 69.5-96.6% and 43.5-84.3%, respectively). But in SL 8.0, it was not detected in both beef or pork, whereas they were 0-13.6% and 0-4.3% in interanal organs.

  • The present study examined internal environment where the size of internal organs (廳服大小) of Taesoeumyang persons (太少陰陽人) is decided focused on nature and emotion (性情), taking note that there is a difference between the parts triggering the rise and fall (升降) of the energy of sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure (哀怒喜樂之氣) of nature and emotion(性情) and the parts expressing the results. Because nature energy is incoming energy (順動之氣), it infuses energy to parts where the energy of sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure reaches and, as a result, forms relatively large-size organs (偏大之臟). When the energy of the four internal organs is produced, the soul, spirit, mind and life (神靈魂?) of the internal organs, which are triggered by outgoing energy, are consumed and as a result emotion is produced at parts where the energy of sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure reaches. It forms relatively small-size organs (偏小之臟). This study examined the process, focused on the direction of the energy of the energy of sorrow, anger, joy and pleasure moving up straight, moving up diagonally, moving down diagonally and moving down straight.

홀로렌즈를 이용한 장기 투영 시스템 (The Organ projection system using holographic lens)

  • 일반적으로 현재 많이 사용하는 장기 투영 시스템은 MRI와 CT이다. MRI와 CT는 전자기장을 이용하여 인체를 절개하지 않고 내부 장기를 의사가 볼 수 있도록 한다. 하지만 문제점은 단면적으로 영상을 보여주기 때문에 의사들이 내부 장기를 입체적으로 관찰하기 어려운 문제가 있다. 이 논문에서는 증강현실의 기술을 이용하여 사람의 내부 장기를 현실에 투영 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발한다. 개발한 시스템은 홀로렌즈를 이용하여 환자의 신체위로 내부 장기를 입체 영상으로 보여주며 핸드 모션을 이용하여 내부 장기를 이동시켜 상세하게 관찰이 가능하게 한다.

  • Objective & Method : We investigated the identity of tri-energizer, which was originally described in Huang Di Nei Jing and claimed by traditional scholars, and drew the following conclusions. Result & Conclusion : According to Huang Di Nei Jing tri-energizer is one of the six hollow-organs and is called hollow organs for digestion and elimination, water guffer organ, or solitary hollow organ. It is believed that tri-energizer is regarded as the existing entity based on following several different sources; it functions as the course of channels, regulates wind and link and physiological function-especially intrinsic function of upper, middle, lower internal organs. It also controls syndromes and dysfunction of an illness, the surface of the body, and the cracked surface of the skin. Finally, bold and timidity depend on the tri-energizer. Experts determined the true nature of tri-energizer types. Experts include: Yu Tuan from the Ming dynasty, Tang Jong Hai and Ye Lin from the Qing dynasty, and Zhang Xi Chun from the Zhunghua Minguo period. These experts' claims are based on shape and forms of tri-energizer. Our examinations of anatomical and physiological basis on tri-energizers showed that, in a narrow sense, tri-energizer indicates visceral and parietal peritoneum and omentum surrounding the internal organs, and in a broad sense, indicates the overall membrane wrapping around the whole internal organs including five visceral organs and six hollow organs.

  • The cough is generally known as a symptom occurred from Lung. But it was descriptive of the symptom every internal organs can cause in "HwangjenaegyeongSomun Haelon". The reason is that, when a pathogenic Gi attack human body, the body skin which have the relationship to Lung is attacked firstly. But the internal organs preside over each seasons of the year, so the season's presiding organ is ultimately attacked. And in "Somun Haelon" the partner symptoms of five solid organs cough and six hollow organs cough are being described, so we can distinguish between each internal organs coughs. Clinically, the cough is most common symptom and one of the most difficult symptom. In my opinion, the origin organ of cough is very various, but the doctor fix their thinking to the Lung, so the cough became a most difficult symptom. This thesis describe pathogenesis and partner symptoms of five solid organs cough and six hollow organs cough. And illustrate clinical examples and some medical prescriptions. Intend to show that various treatment after differentiation of syndromes[辨證施治] surely needed for effective curing of a cough.

12 경락의 속성과 기능에 대한 연구: 경락과 장부의 관계를 중심으로 (A Study on the Properties and Functions of the Twelve Main Meridians: Focusing on the Relationships between the Internal Organs and the Meridians)

  • Objectives and Methods : This study is to understand the properties and functions of twelve meridians. It aims to understand the meaning of the meridian names, and to study the properties of the six qi and the method of movement of the meridians by analyzing the six qi of the three yin and three yang from a meteorological perspective. The functions of twelve meridians based on the relationship between the operation of the internal organs and the meridians are then examined. Results and Conclusions : (1) The three yin and three yang includes the properties of six qi at the meridians. (2) The fundamental qi at reverting yin meridian lesser yin meridian and greater yin meridian has the properties of wind, heat and dampness, respectively, which are yang qi, while the fundamental qi at lesser yang meridian, yang brightness meridian and greater yang meridian has the properties of ministerial fire, dryness and cold, respectively, which are yin qi. (3) In the circulation of meridian qi, yang qi ascends at yin meridians while yin qi descends at yang meridians. (4) Three yin meridians belonging to the viscera help the function of intestines, which saves essence qi and then makes it go upward, while three yang meridians belonging to the bowels help the function of converting foodstuff and making it go downward. (5) In the human body, the internal organs play the primary role, and the meridians serve as helpers of the functioning of the internal organs by controlling the six qi.
