뇨시료 전베타 분석법을 이용한 동위원소 생산시설 종사자 내부오염 스크리닝 및 감시절차 개발 (Gross Beta Screening and Monitoring Procedure using Urine Bioassay for Radiation Workers of Radioisotope Production Facilities)

  • 전베타 방사능 분석법을 이용한 내부오염 스크리닝법을 검증하였고 실제 의료용 동위원소 생산시설 종사자 내부오염을 판단하는데 적용하였다. 종사자의 작업 종료 후 첫 번째로 채취된 뇨시료(spot 시료)와 24시간 동안 취합된 뇨시료(24 h 시료)를 채취하여 측정하였다. 특정 종사자의 경우를 제외하고 대부분의 측정결과는 일반인 체내 기저준위인 100 Bq $kg^{-1}$을 기준으로 22% 이내로 변동폭이 작았다. 측정결과 작업종료 후 수 시간 이내 종사자 뇨시료의 전베타 농도가 전반적으로 35% 이상 상승하는 경향이 있었다. 또한 스크리닝 결과와 작업일지를 바탕으로 작업장내부 구조상 오염을 유발하는 요인을 추정 할 수 있었으며 추가 세부 핵종별 분석법을 바탕으로 내부피폭선량을 평가해야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 한편 사업장에서 신속히 적용 가능한 내부오염평가 절차를 수립하였다.

Nitrogen Porosimeter를 이용한 산소 플라즈마 처리 PET의 미세구조 분석 (The Analysis of the Micro-structure of Oxygen Plasma Treated PET Using a Nitrogen Porosimeter)

  • The porosities of PET fibers were investigated using a nitrogen porosimeter according to oxygen plasma treatment and dyeing with a disperse dye, and they were discussed in terms of the change of internal micro-structure of the PET fiber. The total pore volume, surface area and average pore size of the plasma treated PET fibers increased expectably compared with the untreated sample. The PET fibers treated with oxygen plasma and then dyed with a disperse dye were increased significantly in the surface area and the total pore volume comparing with those of plasma treated only, but decreased in the average pore size. The increase of the surface area, after dyeing, of the plasma treated PET fibers was due to addition of the surface area of the dye itself to that of the PET fiber. The increase of the total pore volume of the plasma treated PET fibers by dyeing, which is the opposite result to the general idea that the pore volume of fibers would be reduced by occupation of dye molecules in the pores, could be explained by the free-volume model. This is that the amorphous region in the fiber expanded by occupation of dye molecules, and the marginal space surrounding dyes was generated as many smaller pores, and the decrease of the average pore size of the dyed sample also could be explained The decrease of the average pore size was caused by the splitting of a larger pore into smaller pores.

  • Deburring and edge finishing technology as the final process of machining operation is required for manufacturing of advanced precise conponents. But, deburring is considered as a difficult problem on going to the high efficient production and automation in the FMS. Removal of burr couldn't have a standard of its definition because of its various shapes, dimensions and properties and mostly depends on manual treatment. Especially, deburring for cross hole inside is very difficult owing to its shape passing through out perpendicular to a main hole. The electrochemical method is suggested as its solution in practical aspect. Therefore, electrochemical deburring technology needs to be developed for the high efficiency and automation of internal deburring in the cross hole. In this study, the new process in the eliminating burr inside cross hole, electrochemical deburring by the wheel electroplated with Cubic-Boron-Nitrade abrasives, is suggested. Its deburring mechanism is described and machining performances is investigated. Also, CBN electroplated wheel is designed and manufactured and then characteristics of electrochemical deburring are investigated through experiments. Overall electrochemical deburring performance against burr inside cross hole is examined in the various power sources such as peak current and direct current.

간호사와 환자의 투약대화의 구조와 전개과정 (Functional Phases and Patterns of Dialogue Sequence in Nurse-Patient Conversation about Medication)

  • Purpose: Effective communication is an essential aspect of nursing care. This qualitative study was performed to analyze nurse-patient conversations about medication. Method: The nurse-patient dialogue was collected by video tape recording during the nurse's duty time in an internal medicine ward. One hundred seventy-eight episodes were extracted from the conversation. Using conversational analysis, the functional phases and patterns of dialogue sequence pertaining to medication were analyzed. Results: Conversations about medication were very brief dialogues, so 68.8% of the dialogue had a duration of less than 20 seconds. However, it was a systematic and comprehensive dialogue which had structures and sequential dialogue patterns. Four functional phases were explored. greeting, identifying the patient, medicating, finishing. The medicating phase was essential, in which the nurse gave the drug to the patient and provided information initiated by the nurse simultaneously. The patterns of the dialogue sequence represented were the nurse provided information first, and then, patients responded to the nurse as accepting, rejecting, raising an objection, or asking again later. Conclusion: As the results of this study show, a nurse's role is important as an educator. For effective conversation about medication, the development of an educational program should be considered, which includes knowledge about medication and communication skills.

대학생이 희망하는 신혼부부주택의 조건 (The desire of undergraduate and postgraduate students newly married housing requirements)

  • With the rise in national GNP, there has been a surge in people requiring adequate housing. The most who are in need of adequate housing are fresh graduates who have entered the job market, and newly-wed couples. Given the current economic condition it is difficult for young people and newly-wed couples to find reasonably affordable accommodations. In response to this, the government is trying to formulate a new policy, with the aim of helping young married couples find decent accommodation in response to the housing shortage. Research was performed last July with the aim of looking at the differences between the newlyweds' expectation of the idealistic housing and conditions. Questionnaires were distributed to undergraduate and postgraduate research students to find out their requirements. The questionnaire investigated the social background and the condition of the inhabited area; housing type internal facilities; the space required for housing; interior finishing, and storage facilities. The survey results were analyzed using SPSS and found that the design of small residential areas, the space requirements of more diversified individualized areas were the most important concerns for undergraduate and postgraduate research students. From the study we hope this will form a foundation for the design of the future housing social stratum. It is hoped that the current results and conclusions of this survey will be of help for the korean community to provide a direction and a positive input in the future design of newly married housing.

  • The magnetic polishing is the useful method to finish using magnetic power of a magnet. The time hasn't been that long since the magnetic polishing method was introduced to korea as one of precision polishing techniques. However, the reasons for not being spreaded widely are the magnetic polishing method don't have mediocrity for machine, the efficiency of magnet-abrasive is confined as a bad polishing, and there are not many researchers in this field. The mechanism of this R&D is dealing with the dynamic state of magnet-abrasive. This paper deals with mediocritizing magnetic polishing device into regular lathe and this experiment was conducted in order to get a best surface roughness with low cost. Beside the subsidiary experiment was performed using the mixed magnet-abrasive with general alumina, barium. This paper introduced the main reason for difficulty using this method in industrial field. It needs more continues research on it. This paper contains the result of experiment to acquire the best surface roughness, not using the high-cost polishing material in processing. The average diameters of magnet-abrasive are the particles of 150 $\mu\textrm{m}$, 250 $\mu\textrm{m}$.

  • The thermal treatment for carbon nanotube was applied to remove the water, metal catalyst and other impurities in carbon nanotube. The surface of carbon nanotube was changed into open structure with acid treatment by mixed solution of $HNO_3$ and $H_2SO_4$. The dispersion property of the functionalized and modified carbon nanotube was assessed with naked eyes by dispersing it in DMF. Carbon nanotube mixd polyurethane film was made to estimate the dispersion property by reflectance of the film with UV-Vis spectrometer. Also the internal structure of carbon nanotube was observed with SEM and TEM and thermal pyrolysis property of the carbon nanotube was measured by TGA and DSC. The surface modification of carbon nanotube by thermal and acid treatments improved the dispersion property of carbon nanotube/polyurethane mixed materials.

  • A thermoresponsive poly(NIPAM-co-dye) labeled with benzopyran-based D-$\pi$-A type dye was prepared by typical radical copolymerization. It can be also constructed a acid/base-induced molecular switch by modulation of intramolecular charge transfer with protonation/deprotonation. The lower critical solution temperature behavior was investigated by means of UV-vis spectroscopy which allows the measurement of the phase transition from $25^{\circ}C$ to $45^{\circ}C$ in aqueous DMSO solution. The morphology of the internal microstructure of the poly(NIPAM-co-dye) hydrogel was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The reversible switch could be obtained by thermal and acid/base stimuli.

  • 초기 엔진 개발 단계에서 양질의 엔진 개념 설계를 얻기 위해 가장 중요하게 다루는 분야가 엔진윤활시스템 설계라는 것은 지나친 말이 아니다. 그러므로 초기 개념설계 후 엔진제작에 앞서 초기 설계된 윤활시스템과 그 관련 부품에 대한 시스템 윤활해석을 수행하는 것은 필수적이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 초기 개념 설계된 2.0 L DOHC엔진에 대한 엔진 베어링과 윤활시스템에 대하여 수치해석적으로 유로망 해석을 하여 설계검증을 한 결과를 기술하고자 한다.

  • When Ti-6Al-4V is used in long steam turbine blades, the main issues are how to improve the fatigue strength as a problem of internal quality and how to forge the thinnest possible blades as problem of dimensional precision. To assure an excellent fatigue strength, it is important to make the two phase fine and equiaxial structure by providing enough plastic deformation in the two phase$(\alpha\;phase/\beta\;phase)$ temperature region. Accordingly, it needs to predict that forging temperature, preform design and forging velocity in forging process. To achieve this end, the two steps forging process was suggested to forge the thin and twisted blades with a precision hammer considering die forces and metal flow. Two steps forging process consists of the flattening forging process and finishing forging process. Process in forging of a 1016mm long steam turbine blade is designed by the finite element method. This study attempts to derive systematic design procedures for process design in the forging. Forging parameters was analyzed in two-dimensional plane-strain simulation and two steps forging process carried out in three-dimensional simulation. Consequently, optimal forging process parameters of long steam turbine blades in Ti-6Al-4V with a high dimensional precision are selected in the hammer die forging.
